Full disclosure- 5 stars is for the top 5% ever, 4 stars is excellent, 3 stars is run of the mill, 2 is sketchy and 1 is the bottom 5% ever.3 stars, what you would expect in a car service shop. They were able to get me in same day, so that is a huge plus. Their quote of $2100 for front struts and sway bars was unbelievably high (I came in for an oil change). Called Advanced Automotive down the road and they quoted $1500 for the same job and when they looked at the vehicle they did not recommend service at this time.Their waiting area was beautiful!! Their front desk help were friendly and helpful.

The owners help me same-day bring my vehicle in and also got me into a free loaner car while my car was inspected. They were very thorough on their inspection and called me the next day . They gave me lots of options to take care of my vehicle. They also keep some decent cars on the lot for sale. I wouldnt hesitate to bring your vehicle here you well be well taken care of. I also forgot the code on the lockbox to pick up my car keys and the owner answered his phone after hours and help me figure it out.

I have been so impressed by the friendly and capable service I have received at Complete Auto Service! John and his staff give me a clear understanding of my cars problems and they provide a reliable way to fix the problems. I appreciate the personalized service I always receive and the generous loan of a car when my own car recently broke down just before my daughters wedding. You are my guardian angels!

This is how my truck was left when I came to have it towed to another location. Completely unprofessional, vehicle was further damaged, was not notified of state of vehicle. They wanted money down for the repair they were ment to do. Also over priced. Dont go here.UPDATE: So in reply to the owners comment and so everyone gets the full spectrum. For one I did not say this business caused the damage, they didnt inform me and it was left that way. Ive worked at mechanic shops, have two certified master mechanic friends, and a mechanic shop I regularly go to. I vehicle should never be left that way. Also the repair was quoted at $1566.14, not $3000.

This is the second time I’ve stopped by for service. First time was for a Subaru wheel bearing which I was quoted at 800$, laughed a bit then puked in my mouth when I realized they were serious. I reminded them the going rate was 400-500$ and they didn’t bat an eye.Figured I’d give them another chance so I stopped by today for an AC recharge since other shops had to book ahead. I was quoted 180-190$ and immediately left. Don’t waste your time unless you need some overpriced service.

After changing my mind that night, I called at 7am right when they opened and told them to only charge me for the diagnostic fee, to not repair anything, and asked to be refunded. John was very argumentative with me and said that he already had a guy on the way to pick up my new tires and that he already took my car apart (they had only taken the tires off). He wouldn’t stop asking me why I changed my mind after I had already told him it was because of budget reasons. After he couldn’t take my no for an answer, he offered to lower the price of my brake repair (the main reason why I had gone there in the first place) but couldn’t have given me a lower price to begin with? After I repeatedly told him that I had to get off the phone because I was at work, he still wanted to know where I was going to take it instead. I’m a female in my 20s and felt like I was taken advantage of. Someone I know who is a mechanic ended up repairing all 4 brakes and bought the parts for $280! I’m so glad I made the decision to cancel.Also in retrospect, who charges someone before the job is even done? I picked this place because they had “outstanding” reviews, only to find out that these people were bribed with gas cards to write them. Read the 1 star reviews of customers terrible experience like mine, and you will notice a very condescending response from the owner every time, like mine.

Complete Auto Service is a place if you need anything done, they will do the right job and do it GREAT. Customer service is excellent! If you need a car while yours is getting fixed, they have that for you, if you need your car towed to the shop, yes that too. 5 stars

Paid 200 for complete check of a car thatr was just purchased. They pretty much looked at one thing and just followed whatever the code said. I was told I would be able to look at it and have a walk around that was not given nor offered when car was on lift. On top of that the estimate was about $400 more then two other estimates. I got lucky one shop told me that it was actually a recall and would be covered by Kia. Transmission is low which they apparently didnt check withers acheck or any of the other the fliuds. The next shop I took it too did checked it and it needs a transmission flush they did and it was a very dark color. both other shops stated same issues other than the fliud. So, not sure what I paid for or what was checked out for the 200. I recieved a receipt but not a check off list as both other shops did. They also didnt check my brakes pads. This is my moms car and if it had been up to me I would have reversed payment.

Originally came here to replace a part, which they told me was no longer being made so it had to be made custom, which ok I can believe that. But I cant believe that you charged me double of the original quote, because my transmission wasnt working when the part is only around $30-40, and then I call ahead to be sure thatll it be ready to picked up by the time I get there, only to find out its the wrong part and I had to wait another hour to have it fixed. And then, it didnt even fix it, in fact starting my car is even worse than before. They also advertise free towing on their website when then only take $50 off the final bill and I paid over $80 for the towing to be just taken not even 4 miles doen the road. Utterly ridiculous. I am never coming here again for the obvious scam and overcharge, and constant lies and false advertisement.Also the website also advertises free car loan/rental which was never brought up or mentioned, which I doubt would have been free anyway since the towing was not free. I also could not pay immediately for the first quote, and they never offered any other options to pay until it racked up to over $400.

These people are Angels! I took my car to them and they were so honest. They told me that my car was still under factory warranty and they wouldnt feel right fixing something and charging me when I can get it done for free. If anything ever goes wrong with my car after warranty, I am definitely making these people my FOREVER mechanics! They even went above and beyond by calling Subaru for me to check my warranty status while I was at work. I cant believe how wonderful the service is in this place! They even gave me a loaner vehicle for FREE while they looked at my car so I could get to work! Wow

I had an excellent experience with this place. A couple weeks ago I was driving an elderly couple to a doctors appointment all the way from South Bend. Along the way I developed a sever misfire in one of my cylinders, and knew I could drive it back home. The first 3 shops I tried were too busy to look at it, let alone repair it. Thank goodness! Because that let me to this shop. Not only were they able to immediately look at it, but they quickly found the problem (bad spark plug wire), and were able to fix it - all within a couple hours and a more than fair price! While waiting in their very nice waiting area, I even over heard other customers sounding impressed with the level of service they received.Louie and Johns is a very professional, and exceptionally honest, shop which Id definitely recommend to anyone needing repairs!

This is hands down the best repair shop I have ever been too. This review is especially helpful to people like me who are learning about their cars and don’t know a lot about cars, also people who want to build a healthy relationship with their Auto Repair Shop.I’d like to highlight my favorite things; Kyle at the front desk is very helpful and informative, when I came in asking about a quote about some repairs I needed I could tell she knew a lot of cars. She didn’t just plug in the numbers and hand a quote back to me some crazy price, she inquired about my cars needs, she asked opinions of the mechanics to be sure I was getting the right work done for my car ALL JUST TO HELP ME GET THE RIGHT PRICING. I hadn’t even chosen this shop yet she was working hard to make sure I was helped correctly, Her initial communication with me is a huge part of why I chose this repair shop.The second amazing person in this shop is Bill (I believe might be the owner), I’m almost speechless to how much he helped, explained and most importantly TAUGHT me about cars and my own vehicles life. He showed me how parts worked, he explained why things were going wrong, what was the best route, and showed me specifically how the parts come together. He also price matched the quote i received from a different shop in town to keep me in the range of my budget (but with better parts). My car is running better than ever, and also they both said that wherever I am in the country I can call them and ask questions in case I needed help. Which is HUGE to me, I’m moving so I won’t be able to give them business but they still are here for their costumers even when they aren’t in the area seriously THE BEST AUTO SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Walked in and got an oil change two times now. Paid online and got the $15.95 deal! The receptionist, mechanic, and owner all came and talked to me and were very friendly! I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Never going anywhere else.

By far the BEST customer service I’ve ever encountered! I’ve taken my car to them twice and they did a great job both times. They are up front in terms of what needs to be repaired and the costs and they also gave me recommendations for maintenance in the future. They also didn’t hold my car hostage...it felt like I got my vehicle back just as fast as I dropped it off! Very nice shop!

I came in this morning to get my side mirror fixed because I had accidentally dislocated the mirror from the holder. I was ready to get the typical auto shop sales pitch with how the entire thing needed to be replaced, etc. but it was not the case with this place. John, the owner, came outside to observe the issue and immediately knew how to fix it right away, free of charge! I definitely owe you one, John, and will be coming back for any future vehicle issues. Its super great to see superior customer experiences such as this one still exist and grateful for this experience as I know I can trust them in doing right by the customer.

The Best Auto service shop in ann Arbor

After moving here from Utah I had no idea where to take my car for service. After a very negative experience with the local Toyota dealership, Im EXTREMELY PLEASED TO HAVE FOUND LOUIE & JOHNS COMPLETE AUTO SERVICE! My electrical system in my Camry was having major issues, and these guys diagnosed the issue quickly and correctly, and had my car running smooth within a day! They offer free towing, and provide pictures and diagnostic test results of all broken parts so you know they are being honest. They use a cool online program where you click on a link they send you by text or email, and it shows you the detailed results of the 67 point courtesy inspection that is performed with every visit. This helps keep track of any needs your vehicle has, and serves as a reminder to stay on top of your car care. Every time I called their shop I received very friendly and prompt responses. Fair prices and honesty are rare in the world of automotive service, especially in a town where lots of college students come, and go and the mechanics dont have to back up their work. They offered me many options, along with lifetime warranty on the parts and services I received. They will even let you borrow their loaner vehicles to drive around town while your car is being worked on. As long as I live in the area, Ill be returning to this shop! This is the type of place I would send my friends and family to for any car care issues. Do yourself a favor and bring your car here for any needs you have!

I am a young adult at a local university in Ann Arbor, so I was suggested this auto shop for it being a business ran by God fearing people. My expectations would be that I would be informed of any issues on my car in earnest, not overcharged simply because of my lack of knowledge on cars, and respected as an adult who wants her car to last as long as possible. My first impression was up to my expectations. I was well informed of any repairs needed to my first car and shown how the issues were problematic. Due to this impression, I returned my first car to the repair shop when another issue appeared. Unfortunately, the service was rushed and I left the repair shop to only find the car in worse shape than I returned it. I let the issue go and continued business with the autoshop with my new car and was hoping that the previous experience was due to human error. Recently, I took my car in for an oil change. I expected that my fluids would be checked and topped off. I came in early in the morning and conveyed the day before that I would have to be at work at 9am, but I would like the oil change to be completed and for them to look out for any maintenance issues. I was told that an hr is not a lot of time, but they could get my car in for an oil change and a lender car could be given if any maintenance is due. I came in and was rushed out in less than 30 mins. There was no verbal conversation on any maintenance due. Recently, I found that my transmission fluid was dirty and that my car is slipping. The previous year (Feb 2019) I went into and was told that my car would need a transmission flush, I followed the recommendation and had it serviced. Less than 20,000 miles later, I have an issue with the transmission. I called today and discovered that the flush had a yr warranty that I was not told about. While my first impression was great, I am terribly displeased with the service. Each time I come to this autoshop, I come because a new issue that was not noticed or not discussed. I have also received a lot of attitude and bias from the receptionist. On top of the many responsibilities that I have as a pre-med student, I now must take care of an issue that I trusted this establishment to inform me of before it became a serious issue! I will not continue my business with this autoshop and highly recommend any college student or young adult to find a different autoshop for repairs.

I was in a bind and needed a tow hitch ball and couple other bolts torqued down quickly as I was getting ready for a trip. My local dealer looked and said they would do it for a fee, and to schedule an appointment the next day. That wasn’t going to work. So I drove by this shop and thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask...John, one of the owners, greeted me with a smile and said no problem, pull up the truck! One of his employees came by to assist and they knocked it out on the spot! I offered to pay and he refused, just said keep them in mind for future service.The shop was clean. The employees were professional. Seemed knowledgeable. And of course, very kind! Would definitely recommend!!!

Ive been going there since 1996 and have found them to be consistently dependable through the years. I know the mechanics by name, a low turnover. Always professional. I have confidence that what they tell me is a true story and my best option.Consider also when looking over other peoples’ reviews how much detail many of them include. I was browsing through them and saw that it was not uncommon for people to leave hundreds of words. But more so, I noticed that the owner responded to many of them with very great detail and much knowledge of the particular customer and car.This the auto shop you want your daughter to marry.

Louie and Johns has given me two free oil changes on my Birthday. It is very nice to see a business appreciating my business and giving me something to come back to. It is very simple, I just call ahead to set up an appointment, if I need a ride to work they will drop me off and pick me back up when the work is completed. They send you pictures of work that needs to be completed so you can see what needs to be repaired with a written estimate, great idea. They keep my vehicles with high mileage running good with regular oil changes and free inspections.

My dad has been a customer for as long as I can remember. My boyfriend and I are now care club members. Great service. very friendly, I dont ever get the impression that they are treating me unfair. I really enjoy that they take the time to explain things to me in my language (which is not car) and draw me pictures and diagrams. You can tell that it is a family owned business and that they are devoted to giving their customers a positive experience.

I got the help from Complete Auto Service to make a decision of buying a used car. When inspecting the first car, I just called on a busy Monday morning. As I needed to do the inspection on that day, but it seemed there wasnt any available slot. The reception was very nice and squeezed a time slot for me. John and Dan were very helpful. They have good knowledge and gave me lots of advice for the used car. Based on their professional inspection, I decided to buy the second inspected one:-) After buying the car, I also decided to do some small service there and got very professional service there and very reasonable price. They ask me to go there to do recheck after one week and another recheck one week after. This makes me feel very comfortable. I think I will continue using them for my car.

Way over priced, even for Ann Arbor. They will spend a lot of time trying to convince you that their overpriced work is due to better quality, but its not. The owner told me its because they are a premium shop. Thats Ann Arbor speak for Im going to charge you 3x the normal rate. Be sure to shop around!Update: The owner of this establishments response (years later I might add) has cemented my review. It speaks with GREAT volume on just how far they will go to overcharge the naive consumer for fluff. Want to pay a PREMIUM price for a NORMAL service? This place is awesome! Ive taken my vehicle to two different shops and they couldnt find the problem. I went here and they nailed it in a day! Not to mention they gave me options and a free loaner so I could still take my dog to the vet. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this place great. I recommend this place to everybody!

Ive been rather disappointed in the service most companies in Ann Arbor provide. But not with Complete Auto Service. They, like myself, are business people who understand how important is it for people to be able to trust the company theyre doing business with. My car just decided to not work on day recently when it had been fine just the day before. I called John and he said to bring it in right away. Theyve done a large number of Saab vehicles and insured me that they knew what they were doing. He was right. Very quickly I got a call saying that my car was finished and that ..it could be delivered to me whenever I wanted it.Now thats service! But the story doesnt end here. About a week after my car was dropped off it started to idle a little roughly at startup. As soon as I could I notified John of the situation. His response: bring it back a.s.a.p, which I did. When I arrived, at about 5:00 PM mind you, he informed me that he knew exactly what the problem was and that he could remedy it immediately! I told him that he didnt have to do it right away since it was so late in the day but he insured me that it wouldnt take lone and proceeded to solve the issue. Let it suffice to say that this procedure was really going the extra mile to make sure that I was happy with everything about my experience with Complete Auto Service and honestly I was amazed. There was actually more that he accomplished but you probably wouldnt believe me if I stated it all here! Youd think that I must have been paid to say these things! But that is not the case.As I mentioned before, John knows the meaning of the word service and also knows that a job well done is its own advertising. He really doesnt need anyone to embellish a review. That is my way of thanking them for a job very, very well done. And when I have anything else funny going on with my car Louie & Johns will be the first and last call I have to make.As a service professional myself I cant appreciate them more. Its nice to know Im not the only one in Ann Arbor that realizes how hard people work for their money. And how much they appreciate being able to trust the fellows youre doing business with. Good auto shop, the staff is helpful and tell you exactly what’s wrong with your car and what needs to be fixed immediately vs what can wait a while. Honest people and are not afraid to answer any questions. Bill was particularly helpful and did a great job on my car.

Over the top excellent service. All of the employees are friendly, fast, and very helpful. Honest, I asked for my brakes to be fixed because the dealership said they were worn. John, the owner told me I had plenty of brake pad left and didnt need them replaced. I did get other routine maintenance done and was very happy overall.

Wow! Bill and John showed me more hospitality than I get at most restaurants. I called them indicating my issue (after being turned down by 4 other city auto shops), they not only gave me a guarantee that they could fix it over the phone, but they said they could get the job done before they went home for the weekend. I took the car in and it was literally fixed in less than 20 minutes lol. Bill told me he knew what was wrong, promised he could fix it, and delivered on his promise. I wont take my car anywhere else.

Our 2005 Pontiac Montana needed service. John at Complete Auto Service told us that the work would be completed within a couple days. However, we were very happy to learn that our vehicle was completed ahead of time - well before Johns original time frame. Recently moved to westside Ann Arbor and needed a reliable mechanic. As fate would have it my infinity started stuttering a half a mile from complete auto service. I was greeted with instant help and advice from Bill and told him Id bring the vehicle back. After diagnostics concluded the issue that Bill had addressed in our previous meeting. I received the vehicle the next day with no issues. Its been 2 weeks and Im more than satisfied with the work. I received an email, addressing the issues and diagnostic codes as well as pictures of the faulty parts. Ive never seen such a thorough mechanic in my 15 years of driving. I was very impressed with the service we received from Complete Auto Service. We had needed an oil change in one car and repairs for another. We came away with a great deal!We purchased the Car Care Club, on sale now for an amazing price, and combined with a few other awesome offers, we ended up saving $105 on the necessary repairs. The service was quick and so very friendly! I waited while one of our cars got its needed oil change. The waiting room and restroom were very clean and the receptionist was extremely friendly! We needed to find a new place to service our cars, and we have found it! Thank you so much Complete Auto Service for taking such good care of us!

I used Complete Auto Service for the first time and was impressed with the entire experience. Their customer service was friendly and professional. They explained what issues my vehicle had and completed the service in a timely fashion. The shuttle service was an added bonus as they dropped me off and picked me up at work in downtown Ann Arbor while they completed the maintenance on my vehicle. I was very satisfied with the experience and service and will be taking my other vehicles here when service is needed.

Gave me an estimate for brakes, a ball joint, and alignment and an up-charge for a brake system flush at a whopping $3,319.34. I declined the work and took my car to the dealership a mile down the road who did all the same work for $1,203.00!! Thats 36% of what Louie & Johns wanted to charge me.When I picked up my car from Louie and Johns, they charged me $126.59 for the oil change and inspection. When I got to the dealership, they pointed out that the oil drain plug was cross-threaded and leaking oil from the oil change done down the road at Louie and Johns.

This is my second year in Ann Arbor and I have tried several shops before coming to the Complete Auto Service. John and his fellows here are providing service of high quality and efficiency. Usually the job could be done within half a day, I really love the high efficiency here. Also, the appointment is easy to make, and the free ride is always there waiting so I dont need to worry about my next appointment on my schedule. The labor here is not cheap, at least for students like me. However, I think it is worth it.

First you are greeted by Robyn with a great smile who turns out to be a fountain of information. After stating my needs, I went home to await my estimate. yahoo... Went in the next day and got my repairs done at a reasonable price on the same day.... double Yahoo....They even washed my dirty car and left candies on the dashboard.Both Bill who gave me my estimate and Ernie who provided transportation to and from Complete Auto Service were professional and courteous.

This place used to give excellent service. A lot has changed in the last few months. When I first started going here, I was always greeted with a warm welcome and there was always someone at the front counter to welcome the customers. Over the last several months, there is hardly ever anyone at the front counter to greet me. When I am able to get someone’s attention to check in, there’s always negative energy and terrible customer service. It comes across as if the employees either don’t like their jobs or don’t like or respect their customers. When I’m able to check in, the process is always rushed. The girl that works the front counter always has a negative attitude and tries to rush the process of checking me in. Whenever I try and clarify the services I need to have done, she tries to rush the conversation, or cut me off. The customer service used to be excellent when Louie was here. It has changed quite significantly since he left. Not to mention, many of the services are over priced. I used to recommend this place to quite a few people. I won’t be doing so anymore.

Very wonderful staff. Explained everything really well. They did good work, too. My only complaint is that they are a bit overpriced, compared to other places. If you dont mind, then this is a great place to go! Very knowledgeable mechanics and a very nice woman in the front office.

Louie and Johns has always given me great service. Their car care club is phenomenal, great price for everything it includes. The staff is always upbeat and pleasant. Its always a pleasure doing business at this establishment.

I have a 2001 Ford F159 with over 286,000 miles on it. The radiator failed and the shift lever was going making it very difficult to get it into park, not to mention no 1st gear. Complete Auto put in a new radiator and were able to find a good used steering column for me. All the work was done very professionally and on time.This is a great place to have honest service estimates and great work.

They were very helpful and kind. They went above and beyind to fix my car and stayed late working on it after they closed. They gave me a free loaner van while my car was in the shop and overall i just really appreciate having a repair shop close by that i can trust. Thank you!

The manager Bill and owner John went above and beyond. I needed to use their loner vehicle while my car was being worked on and John not only put in my childs car seat but also vacuumed it out! We also took advantage of the family care package and love that it includes oil changes on all vehicles in our family for 18 months. They really care about customer service and satisfaction.

Excellent customer care and service, with emphasis on pampering the customer, but very pricey! They include perks like towing, loaner cars, gifts, and provided a detailed report of suggested services etc, but they charge $147/hr for labor, which can push final costs up compared to online repair estimators (nearly 2X in my case). Depends on what you seek from a mechanic-- If you want to be pampered and treated with utmost respect at any price, this might be for you. If you prefer to save some money with more spartan treatment, you should consider alternatives.

It is very comforting to know that not only are you going to get the finest quality work done, but nothing more or less than is required to have your car running perfectly. As the repair progresses, you are kept in the loop and advised every step of the way. My trust in Louie and Johns Complete Auto Service is continually earned every time I visit their store. They always treat me and make me feel like family, the highest praise I can give!

We were very happy with our service. Bill helped us prioritize what we needed to fix to make it fit into our budget. They also sent us pictures of all the work they were doing and walked us through the whole process! We joined the car care club which gave us money off our service fee and free oil changes for 18 months as well as a free rental car while they worked on our vehicle. As a bonus we got a free car wash and candy- we couldnt have been happier with our experience!!

We had a hole in the exhaust of our Jeep Wrangler. Read the excellent reviews for Complete Auto Service and decided to give them a try. Best decision made!! They were polite and efficient. They showed us where the problem was, offered to send pictures of the hole in the exhaust, and then gave an incredibly fair price quote for the welding repair. They did all of the work and had our Jeep ready to go in about 1 hour. They were professional and nice! Well be returning to them if we have a need for a mechanic. You should too.

By far the best shop i have been to. Great and friendly customer service. It was my first time there and they got me in and out very quick understanding i only had today off work and did a great job. I definitely will be returning for any future service.

I brought my car in because it had trouble shifting gears and I had a broken tail light. They fixed both problems on the same day and did an excellent job. Bill let me know exactly what was going on with my car and was extremely knowledgeable. The owner, John, came out to the lobby to greet me. Great place to take your car. I will be back for all my repairs.

John and his staff are absolutely phenomenal!!! Although they are a little bit higher priced than other local shops, THEY ARE WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!! You get what you pay for and at Complete Auto Service I get the works. As a woman that knows absolutely nothing about cars its nice to have an honest place to get my vehicle looked at. I travel 45 mins to their shop for oil changes because they are THAT GOOD! I highly recommend their services for ALL of your car needs!!!

They took my car in right away and then John, the owner, called me and sent me photos of what they found. John took his time to explain all my options. Robin, the office manager, was very nice and helpful. They fixed my car right away and it was done just as promised. I am taking my other car there tomorrow for and oil change and other work. Service was fast and thorough, the auto technician came out to the waiting room to talk to me several times about what they were doing and give me updates. The owner also introduced himself, and listened to what my concerns were. They also provided an overall inspection of my vehicle. Very friendly and helpful!

I took my car in for an oil change and to locate the source of a fluid leak the car was experiencing. The mechanic was very thorough in his explanation of what was causing the leak, sending me to a link on their website to view photos of what the problem was, and where it was located. I found this technical component very helpful. The staff are very friendly, and I appreciated the shuttle service they provided for me to and from my home. When my car was returned to me there was an issue with the part installed, however the mechanics quickly resolved the issue.

The front-desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The mechanics worked efficiently and my repairs were completed same day at a relatively reasonable price.Overall, I am quite satisfied with the services I received and would definitely recommend Louie & Johns if you need to get your car repaired same-day.

My husband I have taken our vehicles to Louie and Johns whenever we have issues. Tuesday, I dropped my SUV off due to the transmission hot, idle engine light kept coming on. They had my car by 8 AM and out by 4:30 PM completely repaired and with a nice thank you treat as well. Robin was awesome as were the mechanics who kept in touch with us all day informing us of what they were doing and what finally needed to happen. I always feel like the mechanics are trustworthy and open. From this point forward, no one touches my car except Louie and John! Oil changes, transmission flushes, whatever work needs to be done - they are doing it!

The people were very polite and gave me needed information on my vehicle!

Complete Auto Service was a great car repair experience that left me feeling like I was being taken care of like I was one of the owners personal friends. I was very happy that I was given the opportunity to physically see the repair needed to my car while it was lifted in the garage and also that I was given sufficient time to think about and discuss the repairs that were needed with the mechanics. I would highly suggest Complete Auto Service to friends and family.

You cant beat free! The guys were knowledgable and helpful. They clearly did a thorough inspection as they told me the things about my car that I already knew I would be needing to deal with in the near future. They were understanding and not the least bit pushy when I explained that my husband was out of work and we couldnt afford the service right now. They even gave my husband a few leads for jobs. The lady at the counter was pleasant and friendly. I would definitely take my car to them again.

Update: I moved away from Ann Arbor, but was mailed a free oil change coupon for my birthday. Not only is this cool, but it was also nice that they found time for me on such short notice. This is one of the first few times Ive had to completely get my non-starting car from point A to point B and handle all of the stress that comes with getting it fixed. Reading all the great reviews also made me weary. Im happy I went with Complete Auto Service because they made the whole process easy. They offer a free ride from the shop to wherever you need to go, I didnt take it, but just being offered was nice. Robin, the front desk lady, has amazing customer service skills, as well as the rest of the team. Being in the customer service industry, I was really impressed. I also spoke to the mechanic John on the phone, and even though I know nothing about cars he described it in a way I could understand, i.e. We have to untangle the spaghetti. (I had a huge wiring problem). When everything was all said and done, I went and picked up my car. On the dash there was a thank you card with referral coupons for you and friends inside.TL;DR Complete Auto Service has amazing customer service and explains things to where you can understand them. I have been taking my cars to John and his crew for the last few years now, mostly for oil changes and tire rotations. Although, they have also installed a tow hitch for me and done some other minor work. I appreciate the high quality service that they provide. They are always so flexible in providing a loaner or shuttle service to/from my office. Recently, I had my car in for more extensive service and found their hi-tech approach to providing me with an estimate, including pictures, very refreshing. Ill admit at first I wasnt sure what I was looking at/for in the pictures, but John has an excellent way of explaining in laymans terms what needed to be done. While I dont typically need to use the waiting area, it is very nicely decorated and comfortable, and his receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. Its apparent to me that customer service is very important to them.

The experience we had with Complete Auto Care can only be classified as Divine Intervention. We were at Weber Inn in Ann Arbor. When my husband to brake his pedal went all the way to the floor. It was Sunday and we needed to find help in an area where everything was unfamiliar to us. I looked up and... right there.... was Complete Auto Care, and lo and behold, one of the stall doors were up. We pulled in and there was the owner, John, and his wife, Joy. They were closed, but he brought her car in to give it an oil change. He had us pull our van on the hoist and when he raised it up, the last of the brake fluid dripped onto the floor. The fuel line had broken due to rust. It is a 15 yr. old Chevy Express. John gave us a free loaner van. His mechanics fixed our van the next day and we drove back to Ann Arbor to pick it up. Did I mention that when we went inside there was a sign that said, God Loves You!I can only praise Complete Auto Care... and I thank God for getting us to their business safely.
