Brought our 5-year-old vehicle in for A/C not being cold. They put in dye, refilled A/C, and then said come back if it gets cold again. $240. 5-days later it went warm again. I can see they dye all over the A/C compressor. Brought vehicle back and they couldnt find the issue. They refilled A/C and said come back if it gets warm. No charge.5-Days later it went warm again. Brought it back in and they said the Schrader valve was the issue, replaced it & refilled. No charge. I said if the Schrader valve was the issue, then it would have happened when you filled the A/C. They said come back if it gets warm.5-days later it is warm again. brought it back in and now it is the evaporator core and they want almost $2,100 for it. I called another shop who said it is a 12-hour job and with evap core it runs $1,550. I call Christian Brothers back and explain the other price I received. They said OK we can discount it $90...What? Ive been in now 4 times and have a very unhappy wife. I then brought it to another shop, and they will call me tomorrow. This shop said approx. $1,500. Way too many excuses and not any results and prices are way too expensive. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVE TO ANYONE!

It actually took 2 visits to get my problem fixed, but they were very friendly and sincere about getting the issue resolved and gave us a generous discount for our inconvenience. I would recommend them to family and friends in the future.

Christian Brothers is the reason people dont trust mechanics any longer. This is the first time I have ever written a review on-line however I couldnt help myself after this interaction.My son brought his Chrysler to them with a cylinder miss fire. A couple hours later they called and said his car was leaking a lot of antifreeze and that the car was no longer drivable until he replaced a broken hose. They quoted $800 for the work which included a $250 steel hose. When my son told me this, we drove up there immediately. I asked to see the car, Bob (sales guy) said sure, $10 to see the car (I didnt laugh). I asked the mechanic (great guy) where the leak was coming from and he showed me the hose (which was in great condition) and said this o-ring was leaking. I asked if they had an assortment of o-rings at the shop, Bob (sales guy) said no, the mechanic said yes. I ask for them to replace the o-ring for $.30 rather than replacing the $250 hose (Bob said he was going to write notes in his computer that he didnt agree with this). Mind you this is a 10 year old car.I asked how much labor they had into the car at this point and Bob said it was a 3 hour job. I said thats not what I asked, I asked how much labor you have into the car at this point. Bob said it was a 3 hour job. I said, oh your not willing to tell me that huh? Bob said no. In other words they do jobs based on what labor the book says, not the actual labor costs. In other words if the book says its a three hour job and they get it done in one hour, you will pay for all three of those hours.I then asked if they sorted out the cylinder miss fire yet, they admitted they hadnt (mind you this is the fourth or fifth time he brought his car there for this same issue). They swapped the coil from cylinder 2 to a different cylinder to see if the miss fire would follow.They saw a 20 year old kid coming and thought they could take him for a ride. Little did they know that I was going to be visiting them shortly after they tried ripping off my son. Its no wonder the shop was nearly empty, obviously other people figured this place out long before we did.If you value honesty and your hard earned money then you will not bring your car here.

Overpriced, snobby rude receptionist, discount tire recommends them for alignment, quoted 40 to 50, they charge 104.. I set my appointment, wait a week, go in for my appointment and they said I didnt have a appointment. Very angry until I found a place that did my alignment for 50. Zero stars!

Our vehicle wouldnt start while camping nearby, and we had it towed to Christian Brothers. In a couple of days they had it up and running at a competitive price.I work on my own vehicles usually, and I found that all of the diagnostics and recommendations were trustworthy.

Done in under 6 hrs, was sent photos of the found issues via text and was able to correspond with Cliff and get estimates to proceed with repairs/replacement. I came in to have alignment done on my vehicle, since my car is very old, they pointed out the parts that they recommend to replace before they proceed with alignment. Their techs are very knowledgeable and knowing that doing alignment with worn out parts does no good, recommend replacing. After I replaced all the parts, they were able to quickly do the alignment and I was on my may. It’s hard to forget great service and the people. Their name truly does represent who they are.

Excellent service! I was in a bind and this shop really came through for me when another place gave me the run around. The staff was extrememly helpful, genuine, and got the job done at a reasonable price. All the positive reviews on here are well deserved. I will be back!

Dishonest business. They scam you into needing more repairs and over charge you. Not very Christian in my opinion. Do not recommend.

I am very disappointed to say the least. In February I had engine work done that was supposed to fix an oil consumption problem as well as replace the timing chain. I brought it back when the oil level dropped by 2 quarts/ less than 2,000 miles. Now they say I need piston rings. I am shocked, nobody addressed the failure of the first fix which was $2,000. Now the next attempt is $2,900. I have thi take my business someplace else. This was within 2,000 miles

We went here because of good reviews and recommendation from AAA who we had to call for a tow because we had a cracked oil pan in our 2015 VW Golf. The front office people were very nice and worked performed was good plus they were able to get the car in right away which was nice. The issue I have is I think we were definitely price gouged. Total bill for lower oil pan replacement which included gasket and sealer kit plus oil was $937.25 and that was after a 10% AAA discount. They charged $355.99 for a new oil pan from Luther VW. I called Luther and price they quoted me was $227.10 so you do the math. Christian told me they got the pan from Luther and their computer automatically adds the upcharge. I think adding $128.89 to the real cost of the oil pan is extremely out of line. They did tell me I would be getting some coupons for future visits. These will come in handy for starting my next campfire.

The most pleasant experience I have ever had at a automotive shop. Very comfortable waiting area, ready for my arrival, and very speedy oil change/tire rotation. If I could rate 6 starts I would! This will be the only place I go to moving forward. Thank you Christian Brother Automotive!

Christian Brothers Automotive was amazing to work with! My husband and I both had to get new tires due to pot holes and getting flats within a few days of each other (woo MN springs!) - when I asked where Discount Tire would recommend for an alignment/check they suggested Christian Brothers! I was so happy with their service! I was there for the first appointment at 7, and was out by 7:30! I didnt need an alignment after all (thankfully! We have dropped enough cash on tires so far! I was happy they didnt try to convince me I needed something I didnt! Everyone was happy, helpful and professional! They will be getting my business again when it is needed! :)

I was there about a week ago for an oil change I have them do this a few times on my 2012. Ford Focus, I asked for a quote to replace spark plugs cause I no longer had the socket for it. I was quoted $195 dollars just to replace the plugs, I told them that was an astronomical price for that, they told me it included labor and guaranteed to work for 100,000 miles, and then I was told about replace bolts on a sway bar that needs to be done which would be 400 dollars, I checked at another site and for a plug for my car was $7.50 per plug, when I tried telling them this they preceded to give me a lecture about doing maintenance on my car, and how I need to do it, with all of the things they wanted to do to my car it would of cost me about 2,000 dollars. No thanks, they are nice and friendly but if you need work done a dealership is cheaper, or better yet do it yourself

Excellent overall experience. I called and scheduled an appointment for an opening next day for an oil change. I work nearby, and they were able to shuttle me to my workplace after I dropped off my vehicle and picked me up upon completion. They took just over an hour to complete the oil change and inspection. Pricing was competitive and fair, and the staff were very friendly and professional. I will be back for additional maintenance and work in the future!

If you are looking for a repair shop thats honest and full of normal nice people well you have found it. We have had our cars in for various reasons and have been happy every time. We have been treated well and got a great value for our money. Last week when my car wouldnt start they checked my battery (it was only 4 months old) and found that it was a bad battery. They took my battery to Interstate Battery to cash in on the warranty and then installed my new battery for $20. We were so amazed that they took the time to drive to Interstate to do the exchange free of charge. I couldnt be happier!!

This shop is super friendly and thurough and do a good job at the repairs they complete. They are very detailed in giving you a report on whats wrong with your car and what actually needs service. The repairs are completed quickly too which means you get your car back fast. They also offer a shuttle service so you dont need to find a ride. They have been very helpful to me in trying to keep the cost of repairs low and have bent over backwards to assure customer satisfaction and great service. They are very nearby too. Its hard to find a great, trustworthy shop and I feel like I can rely on Christian Brothers. Thank you.

My Tire valve stem broke off halfway down, with cold weather coming I could not add air pressure, I called them at 7am and it was done before noon, I googled repair costs and they were spot on for this repair/replacement, they are the best!!!!!

All the 5 star reviews for this shop are very real. This was the best experience I have ever had repairing a vehicle. I will never be bringing my cars to another shop!I called on Sunday night when the shop was closed planning on just leaving a voicemail but to my pleasant surprise I spoke with a customer service representative from a call center who took down my information. I then received a follow up call first thing Monday morning. They were able to get me in on Tuesday morning and I picked up my car on Wednesday. Extremely fast service!I was having issues with my brakes, but was unsure of the source. I only gave them rudimentary information on what was happening and they were able to pinpoint exactly what my issues were. I also asked them to check for anything else they would recommend getting done on my old, beat up, high mileage, 2006 Pontiac G6 to keep it on the road as long as possible. I received a call around lunchtime on Tuesday after they had inspected everything. Mark was amazing! He broke down for me the urgent issues with my car, along with the things that need to be done but not right this minute. Mark explained to me everything they were going to do and the reasons why they were going to do it. This was the most confident I have ever felt about a shops work in my life. I can safely say that I will be a Christian Brothers customer for life.Thanks for the great service Mark and team!

Ive been coming to Christian Brothers for three years. Not sure why I havent written a review yet, but its time to get it done.We have had all three of our vehicles serviced here, and have always been treated fairly, offered a fair price, and have never been pressured or pushed to have other work done. They will bring up issues that will need to be addressed in the future, but have never put on the pressure by making it seem they are urgent when they are not.The Service Manager, Dan, is awesome. About two years ago I felt that my transmission wasnt behaving like it should. Since I was leaving the next day to travel with my family to South Dakota for Christmas, I was nervous to say the least. Dan told me to bring it down and hed take a drive with me. After driving around for about 15 minutes, he reassured me that all my transmission was behaving as it should. I took his word for it, and have never needed any work on the transmission...so he was right.In that same situation, I believe there are many places that would have simply said, youre right and put a new tranny in for me - even though I didnt need one.I have been to many auto shops in my life, but Christian Brothers is the one I trust.

Great service. Recently moved to Andover and was looking to find a place I can trust to bring my car to. Had to get my breaks done, shopped around and decided on Christian brothers. Worked with me to offer a fair price compared to others, and seemed transparent with what they did. Afterwords let me know things they said could be looked at but didnt try and pressure me into getting it done immediately like a lot of places do now. Will for sure be going back for my other car needs!

I first came to Christian Brothers a few years ago to ‘try’ a new service company. I was hooked at the first interaction. They really do care about their customers. The facility is clean and comfortable, and more importantly they take care of your car as if it was their own. So many good things to say about this company.

So incredibly impressed by the service I received at Christian Bros. I knew I had a transmission issue and a horrible rattle in my car but I had accepted that my car was just a rough ride.Christian Bros fixed all of it. I cant believe how smooth my car drives now. CBA has always been good to us and anytime that weve had a problem theyve worked to resolve the issue. We bring our vehicles here and I take their shuttle into my office; works out great! Good people, good mechanics, clean shop and reasonable prices.

I was stuck with a flat tire and the staff here were so helpful with putting on the spare for me. They dont really offer tire services but offered to do my tires for me if I wanted. They were honest and recommended cheaper options if I choose not to go with their services. Very friendly staff..

Usually Im skeptical of going to mechanics, but wow! I am impressed by their customer service specially Jacinda (hoping I got her name right). I was planning to bring in my vehicle for broken alternator bolt stuck in housing and since it was out of my elements/comfort. However I was able to get the job done myself. Right off the bat I can tell that the shop is filled with honest and great people. Will be bringing in my vehicle when Im unable to get the job done myself.

I have been going to Christian Brothers since they opened. I bought a used car for my son, I knew needed some repairs. They have worked with me on setting priorities of what needed to be worked on, and what could wait. The estimates have always been spot on. They did quite a bit of work for me this week that couldnt be put off any longer. Jake was very helpful. He told me timelines, and gave me two updates. I am very impressed with the professionalism and kindness I have been shown going there. It gives me a lot of comfort to trust the business that is doing my car repairs. Car is running great and I am totally satisfied with what I paid for the guaranteed work done.

I have had multiple cars in for different repairs and Christian Brothers has always been very honest and fair. They have researched some of my issues and found that I still have a warranty through GM and saved me a lot of money by having GM do the work. The work has always been ontime and on budget. Awesome service. Our truck basically died rolling into their parking lot and the owner gave us a ride home. Outstanding customer service as I had 3 kids with me and they pulled out coloring books, story books, and blocks. I brought my car in to Christian Brothers Automotive in Andover a few weeks ago because my car was not running smoothly. They checked everything out and found that it was a minor issue and had it fixed within the day! It was nice to know that they were honest about the problem and were prompt to fix my car and have it back to me quickly! They have a great and knowledgeable staff to help with the minor fixes, like mine, or the major fixes. I will definitely use them again!

I am always apprehensive about auto service. Calling Christian Brothers just for an estimate made me feel that they truley cared about me as a customer. No pressure to bring my car there. Once my car was there, I was informed of exactly what the repair would cost and suggestions for other needs that would be done at a very reasonable price. My First choice for automotive needs in the future.

We had one front axle seal replaced on our Accord about a year ago. It started leaking again, so we brought it back in. They replaced both seals and warrantied out both sides. Zero charge, not something you expect to hear from a repair shop. I called at 10AM, dropped it off at noon, and it was done at 5PM. Cliff and the guys did a very nice job with the whole process.

Good prices. Unwilling to work with constricting schedules on the customers end. Sometimes slightly rude over the phone. Went with another shop that prices about the same and helped work around my tight work schedule. Wouldnt recommend to friends over the other place.

I recently had my oil changed at Christian Brothers in Andover and I couldnt be happier with the service I received! I have an older car and was trying to decide if it was worth it to get some repairs done, so I also asked Christian Brothers to look over the vehicle to identify issues. They thoroughly checked over my car and reported back all of the issues. They were very straightforward with me and told me that they didnt think it was worth it for me to put more money into the car. They could have tried to push me for a whole lot of costly repairs, so I really appreciate the honesty. Now that I am going to be looking for a new car, I will have Christian Brothers look over the car before I buy it and I will be taking it there for all of my future repairs. Wherever you live, it is worth the drive to get your vehicle repaired at Christian Brothers.

My car was up for an oil change and decided to give them a try! I will never go anywhere else but them after this! Their waiting area is absolutley gorgeous with leather couches and offered me a bottle of water as I waited. There were some things that needed some attention to be fixed on my car in the future and they took the time to show me exactly what was going on and why it needed to be repaired. In all my years of bringing my car to a auto body shop, I have never had that kind of experience! They truly value on taking good care of their customers and building that trusting relationship. Ive had 2 different vehicles serviced here. Both times I was offered a ride back home, so I could work without distraction, and was driven in a new comfortable vehicle. When my services were complete, the cost was less than quoted at the dealer and the work was top notch. I was never pressured for a service upsell like is common at most other shops. This fact alone makes me more likely to return. The staff and owners are joyful and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend Christian Brothers Automotive in Andover.

I always bring my vehicle to the dealer. I thought I would give a neighborhood business a try. I was very pleased with the experience. Scheduling, drop off and pickup went very well. I even received a follow up call. Very friendly staff. I am glad I gave them a try.

Outstanding service. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation and they noticed my radiator clamp was about to break. Prior to fixing it they sent me a picture of what it looked like. I had never had someone do that in the past. I would recommend Christian Brothers.

I was having electrical issues with my car after installing a radio and cameras myself (I had a service engine fault code). I was very careful with the installation, and I couldnt figure out what went wrong. I specifically read reviews online to find a reputable shop that had excellent customer service.I called this shop on Monday, July 30th. I gave a detailed explanation of what I did to the car, what was wrong, and what I had already checked. After listening to my explanation I was told that they would be able to work on my car in one week, on the following Monday. I made my appointment, and I had my car towed there on the morning of my appointment. When I went into the office the receptionist was very nice, and so was one of the gentlemen in an office behind the counter. There was one man in the office (who I assume to be a manager) who was very rude however. He told me that he wasnt going to look at my car until Friday. I kindly explained that I needed to know what was wrong with my car before that, and that I had scheduled the appointment a week ago. After arguing with me he finally offered to look at it the following day, and at least get an idea of what was wrong.The following morning I received a call from that same person and he informed me that they looked at the vehicle and that they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. He told me my car was a mess and that I had bare wires all over the place, and that they didnt have the electrical diagnostic equipment to figure out what was wrong. He did give me the name of an electrical automotive shop and their number.I towed my car to the place he had recommended on Tuesday. The new shop actually went to my car with me and had me show them what I did to my car. Within 24 hrs they had found that the problem was poor pin connections between the fuse block and pcm (completely unrelated to the work I did on my car). I had my car fixed and I picked it up just after lunch on Wednesday. I drove it home to write this review.I am giving one star because of:1. How rude the manager was when he interacted with me.2. I was told to bring the car there even after I had explained what I had done, and how complicated it might be.3. How I was talked to when they didnt know what was wrong. It was as if the manager was blaming me for why they couldnt figure it out.4. The appointment was not honored, and it wasnt even going to be close. I can understand delays in business, but not an entire week. I was given no courtesy call to let me know that it would be delayed ahead of time. I wasnt even offered an apology that they wouldnt be able to look at my car on the day I had scheduled. If I hadnt argued about my appointment my car would still be sitting in their lot for two more daysbefore they would inevitably tell me they couldnt fix it.I wasted a week of my time and two hundred dollars in tow fees by visiting this shop. I almost gave two stars since the receptionist was nice and the facility was quite clean; However this was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive had in years.

The service at Christian Brothers is probably the best Ive had, always trustworthy, prompt and an all around great atmosphere! Highly recommend them to all my friends and family!
