I have gone here for almost 3 years and I still love coming. Sensei Cort is amazing at teaching karate and is amazing at karate itself. If I had anyone as a teacher anywhere in the world, it would be him, right here.

Sensei Cort is an amazing teacher, great with children, adults, and more seasoned adults. I started at when I was 50. Our family has been training with Sensei Cort for a while. Started with my wifes cousin, then my son, then me, my daughter, and finally my wife. This picture is from a tournament in May. First tournament for three of us.We are not the only family with multiple members who train here. Its truly a family dojo. I see young people, who are advanced students, who are respectful, confident yet humble, and developing into great adults.Give this school a try. You will not regret it.Joe

This dojo has been a bright spot in my sons life this year. He was feeling isolated because of Covid-19 and his lesson each week has brought a smile to his face and a positive attitude. Cant say enough good things about Mark, Tyler, Mr. Salsi and Sensei Cort.

Such an amazing teacher of martial arts. Patient, thorough and wise. I miss my daily lessons and the health benefits therein. I highly recommend this school for anybody who is interested in studying martial arts or who has kids who are interested. Heck, if you bring your kids to the school you should join as well, its always good to learn self defense no matter the age or physical ability.

Ive attended a few classes as the guest of one of his students who is a friend of mine. The way he teaches is very friendly and patient, making sure each student understands proper form and the reason behind it. You can tell he strives to build a relationship with each of his students, and is more than happy to answer any questions that might arise during the class. He is very encouraging and understands that everyone has limits to how their bodies can move. Weapons training was immense fun, with an emphasis on personal safety in a self defense situation. If you are looking for martial arts training with an emphasis on defense, or simply want a fun, friendly atmosphere for low weight physical conditioning, you should stop by and check out this dojo.

My husband goes to class here and loves it! I went once and they let me participate in the class a bit and it was great. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. If you want to take martial arts classes, I would highly recommend this one!

This school is friendly and high quality not only can you receive hand to hand training as well as weapons training but you can find other motivated partners there for practice and sparring. For any curious the arts used here are wu ying tao as well as modern arnis.

Sensei Cort is an excellent instructor! He works so well with so many different age groups. Sensei Cort is also very knowledgeable about a variety of weapons he can train someone to handle. For example, I wanted to know more about metal fighting fans and Sensei Cort helped me choreograph a beautiful kata. In addition to teaching Wu Ying Tao, a form of Kung fu, he also teaches Modern Arnis, a Filipino martial art. He has made our experience very enjoyable. He also throws terrific childrens birthday parties at his school complete with ninja games and loads of fun!!
