Had a major leak with my truck, they were able to diagnose it quickly. Once parts arrived, they were able to replace everything in one day. I typically work on my vehicles myself but this job was beyond my scope, Nicks auto service was able to complete the job quickly and for a fair price. Parts markup and labor charge were very reasonable. I will return for any larger maintenance issues on my truck.

Just had my 2002 Chevy RV serviced by the crew at Nicks. The team there did a fantastic job. Replaced both exhaust manifold gaskets and most importantly they found and fixed an irritating reduced power mode issue that only appeared when the vehicle was cold. Not only did they fix the issue, but they took the time to explain what they did so I could understand it. Great job! Normally when we take our truck here, we have no issues. But we made an appointment on Friday, took our truck and today is Thursday a working on it Monday, again today is Thursday. They were told we had a very important appointment to get to today and they would try to have it done, and now its by the end of business today. Watch that changes. Yet they want to be fully paid. A week, really!!!!!

They were seriously great! I was having battery issues and they got me in within the hour and fixed it! And they are funny!

Horrible customer service the most unprofessional auto shop I’ve ever encountered. I wouldn’t even rate them a 1 star but I had no choice. I brought my car in for one thing and Nicks auto had my car for over a month and a half. They kept giving me the run around on new issues that they claim came up. After a month and a half I finally came and got my car because I knew they had no clue on what they were doing. Not only did they not care about me not having a way of transportation. But I am also on dialysis I had to catch a Nifty Lift to and from my treatment and then to work. They knew this was my only sources of transportation. Instead of being honest and saying they could not fix what they lied and said they could. They continue to give me the run around and tried to inflate the price of additional services. They never tried to give me a rental or even tried to accommodate me. So after a month and a half I am picking up my unfixed car to take it to a real auto shop to finally get my car fixed.

We love and trust Nicks Auto Service with all our vehicles. They are upfront and competitive with their pricing. They are timely with repairs. And they stand behind their workmanship. Another bonus is the owners are active in the community. We are regular customers.

Everything from an air-conditioning check-up to a full engine replacement, they took care of me and stood behind their work and parts if I had any issues. I definitely recommend them if you need a good mechanic at a good price.

Took my car to Nicks auto service and I only have good things to say. off of my own self diagnoses I thought I needed a new clutch. After a few quotes I decided to take it there. They saved me money, asked me what my issues were, and diagnosed the actual problem. They told me the issue and resolved it.They could have charged me for the original quote with out changing the clutch and fixed the actual problem, they could have changed the clutch and fixed the problem and charged me more money than the original quote, but they did none of those things and found the solution.As a partial business owner I appreciate the customer service and phone call up dates. Im not saying that taking your vehicle there will save you money, but in my case they gave me an honest answer and it saved me money.I appreciate local business and I would recommend Nicks auto Service.

Normally when I go here they are really nice and explains the codes to me. Last Friday my van was over heating I took it there and he check the codes and didnt tell me anything but he is booked up and can get me in next week. I had to call over there and ask what the codes meant and it was just frustrating. Dear mechanics, try helping your fellow American save money by just simply saying add some antifreeze to your car!

Very good service. These guys treated me good and with reapect. They shook my hand when I picked up my truck. Kept me informed on anything they did or looked wrong. They did my rotors and pads on my 1999 for ranger. They were fast and good at the work they did. Ill be back later on for ball joints! Better priced than some Anderson places and you get a two year warranty on the work.

HONEST-GREAT WORK-GREAT FOLKS I had a baring replaced in my old Buick a year ago so when I started hearing the sound again, thought for sure it was the other side so I brought it into Nicks with the conclusion of spending money to replace the other side. When my husband got a call that it was the same side that went out n replaced a year ago but was warranty work at NO CHARGE, well, I was amazed. They did a fine job in what was going on our car. In fact the dealership where we purchased the car didnt care to take car of this ongoing problem.

Game plan: I work around the clock all week but I had a family vacation set up from Thursday til Tuesday. Dropped it off Thursday early afternoon and expected at the latest, maybe Monday or Tuesday. Called earlier and they said it wasnt ready yet and gave me a quote. Thought okay, maybe theyll get it done before close? Nope! Thank goodness I decided to call while at Kings Island on Monday because they hadnt touched my car yet but were able to quote me. I have work tomorrow at 1pm and they arent able to tell me they can get it done before then. Ridiculous! If the place is busy, then call and communicate because not everyone can just leave their cars for 4 business days and just be fine with it. Horrible communication since there was none. Not coming back and not paying for anything they havent fixed entirely. Lesson of the day: Dont assume. Keep in constant communication with them. Give a deadline. No matter how soon or long.

I accidentally locked myself out of my car and one of the guys found out and came over to my home and unlocked at no cost and just said it was because I was a valuable customer. My car broke down on a Sunday in Anderson, IN on a road trip from MI to MO. The folks at Nicks got me in first thing Monday morning and I was back on the road within 2 hours. The prices were fair and the service was great. The owner even came out to show me the engine parts that were broken and gave me instructions on what to do when I got back home. If I lived in Anderson, IN, Nicks Auto Service would 100% be my go-to for any and all mechanical work on my car.
