I bought a car with Payless about a month ago with Dennis Laird as my salesman and we had absolutely zero complaints! We needed a car urgently and walking into Payless was a pleasurable experience. The service was very quick and friendly:). The other signer on my loan was across the country which Dennis handled like a champ and took care of it with little to no effort from us. Payless quickly sent the documents out with no delay. I also have a complicated work schedule and I can’t have access to my phone for 8 hours a day which wasn’t a problem either. Dennis remembered to leave texts and voicemails instead of relying on me to answer the phone. When we bought our Lincoln we knew there was a problem with the transmission which we were fine with and when I brought it up he gave me a great warranty option. The car was taken into the shop within the week and was fixed back into perfect condition AND I was given a car to drive while mine was being fixed (they also went above and beyond and put my plates on for me). Me and my husband were in a difficult position and had a lot of obstacles but Dennis was ALWAYS flexible with the schedule. If he wasn’t such an AMAZING salesman our car buying experience would’ve been a lot more stressful. Payless offers a great selection (especially in comparison to other lots) along with great prices and customer service. When you go to Payless I HIGHLY recommend you ask for Dennis Laird. Ok, I’ll do it. I’ll give a review… swapped out sweet calm luxury Lucille the Lexus with the dashing (in looks and pep) Sherlock the John Cooper Works MINI. Went in to just sell Lucille actually because they made a fair offer. Once I got there I was pleasantly surprised that Payless really has a nice selection of quality cars (which is a treat in Alaska) and this MINI caught my eye. Albert was on top of it. We told him we need quick and efficient paperwork because “ain’t nobody got time for that” and he delivered. Honestly I Hate, Hate, Hate, Double Hate, Loathe Entirely buying cars, but all in all this was pretty painless! 👍🏻

I ended up shopping here in a whim, and if you get the opportunity, I HIGHLY recommend it. I bought a 2012 KIA Soul with extended warranty. The engine developed a knock and now needs replacement before my first oil change was due. Talked with my salesman once and was told Id get a call back. 2 calls later still no response. The vehicle lasted about 2 months before I took it into the shop and warranty is useless for any damage on used vehicles unless it was in pristine condition to begin with even if you did all the proper maintenance. Buyer beware I would look elsewhere if you looking for an affordable or dependable vehicle.UPDATE: My salesman reached out and contacted the warranty company and got them to cover $2,500 out of a $5,100 repair bill. $3,100 ended up coming out of my pocket for $9,000 vehicle and the company itself offered zero compensation for selling a faulty vehicle and ineffective warranty that was advertised to cover the used vehicles engine for a $100 deductible. I do not recommend buying here still

This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and I had a great experience, the car was in great condition. The car dealers were very friendly and they answered any questions I had promptly over text. When I purchased my car they did not pressure me in any way to pay more than the amount I had been willing to spend. They were also kind enough to give me financing advice for the Jeep upon purchasing it and they installed a new battery for me. Overall, great experience!!

These guys have a good collection and good customer service, but I had honestly a pretty bad experience. The car I bought from them had its oil changed and the oil cap was literally missing when i drove it to the hotel, there was no fuel in the 34 thousand dollar car, and the car is throwing codes after 1 day of having it.
