We had work done by the Squires years ago and I still have anxiety when I think back on it. It took me years to choose someone to do another remodel project after my bad experience with the Squires duo. This time I did my homework and looked at the reviews. It made all the difference. Reviews say a lot about the contractor....not about the customer. Read the reviews, people. Save yourself money, time, energy.
When I paid I was told that they didnt have the necessary equipment to provide a receipt that day, but would mail one. Since that day, I have requested one a total of 6 times by various methods (email, phone, and text) without results. Also, prices are quite high for the work provided.
Beware!!! The Squires showed complete lack of respect and integrity, as well as general incompetence during every aspect of our home remodeling project. They charged us up-front half the cost of the project, which should have been our first warning sign. They showed up hours later than expected 3 days in a row, their communication was awful, they provided us extremely limited options when making product/design decisions, and finally made a huge error that they refused to take any responsibility for. They treated us (and myself especially) with complete disrespect, literally yelling at me in front of my young children, patronizing me, speaking outright lies, and making me so uncomfortable I could not stay in the house with them. We had no choice but to terminate, and then they ignored our request for an actual invoice and partial refund for months. I don’t think it gets any worse than this?!
There people are amazing
