I called asking simply for professional services to facilitate paying an inmates bail. I had the means of paying cash or card. My issue was with getting the funds to the appropriate venue; was that the courthouse or the front desk of anchorage correctional complex or online bail posting even though cash only is detailed in the orders?When I called freds bail bonding, I was told that thet didnt like to do two hundred and fifty dollar bonds. They told me just to walk into the jail and pay it.

I cant believe how rude and unprofessional this business is. The receptionist is extremely unpleasant and has absolutely no empathy whatsoever. This is a time where compassion is crucial for rehabilitation of prisoners left behind by the system! What ever happened to innocent UNTIL proven guilty? Dont let these people take your money! Pay the Court directly. You will get All of your money back after trial. File a complaint with the BBB and Alaska Department of Law Consumer Protection Unit...

Very rude and disrespectful when I tried to ask them a question. This person is not someone I’d wanna deal with if someone I love is in jail. Needs to learn some manners and some people skills.

At these time of stress getting a loved one out of jail. Ur innocent before being proven guilty ... they treat u like nothing and has no compassion. Called them 3x they are not 24 hours they tell u to call back the next morning around 930am. If they are not going to that specific jail that day then they will NOT HELP YOU! I just called this man and he is very rude. Unfortunately he may be the only bail bondsman in Anchorage. For now! Its not that hard of a job so I will be applying and start a business of my own. He posted that he is open 24 hours, but its more like his mouth is open 24 hours with a rude attitude!

Went out of their way to help with a difficult situation, and accepted a long distance credit payment for the bond... Sometimes they are very short, and dont show any phone etiquette 😕 but they help where it counts, with bail situations.

Freds Bail Bonding has a bondsman available 7 days a week. Bonds persons are at the Anchorage Corr East (AJ) from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Mon through Fri and are on call in the evening with a 10 minute response time. They are also at the jail on Sat & Sun from 1pm thru 5pm. The OFFICE is open 9-5 M-F. Phone 276 3443 is forwarded to the on call bail person.
