Good staff will go back again

Theyve on my car several times now and saved it from the junkyard. Theyve been courteous the whole time . And factual.

The most honest and courteous shop Ive been to in Anchorage. Everyone working seemed invested in my best interest, and I was helped in a timely manner.All in all, Its a shop I will definitely be using in the future.

I really wanted to like this place because the guy at the front desk was so kind and talkative. I was quoted an outrageous price, so when a family friend (a mechanic) was he was in town I decided to get a second opinion as he was able to look at my car for free, and be honest with me. The things I was told were wrong with my car were completely wrong. Not sure if I was being lied to by Hales, or if they simply dont know what they are doing, but either way, I will never go there again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I got to be honest, Im pretty shocked by these negative reviews. Hales is a husband and wife outfit and we (my wife and I) trust them implicitly when it comes to our vehicles. Ive never felt the need to go to the dealer or get a second opinion... not even once... We have never been or felt ripped off, never been cheated, and we have never been mislead over the past 10 years. The most important thing for me when it comes to automotive repair is honesty... and Im thankful I found a local shop that I can trust to fix and maintain our cars. And no, we do not know Richard and Desiree personally.

Hales is the most professional and honest group of mechanics Ive met. They are fair in pricing and will not sell you on service you dont need. They have my highest recommendation.

Heard about the from a motorhead friend of mine and both my wife and I use them whenever we can. They are the most reasonable mechanics weve found in price and they are always friendly and havent been mislead by them in the least. They have kept us informed what was wrong with our vehicles and if they find something else wrong, they let us know whats going on

I saw the supervisor tell one of his workers to move a dead car to jump it by himself struggling then the poor man had to get his own help after 20 min of trying, then i was waiting for the supervisor to get back after i asked him a question then i see him smoking a cigarette with another woman looked like a customer for 5 minutes as i wait. Then the worker that was jumping the car was going to take me to my vehicle and on the way there the supervisor calls him telling him to take me to a part shop to get a part when he insisted to take me to my car first but the manager was not having it. So after i was finally dropped off at my vehicle i asked the man if there was a receipt he said no and that johnson tire had it so i brushed it off thanked the young man and left.So for this companys supervisor to show that much disrespect to me and not inform me about my vehicle fully i will never go here again and i want to thank that worker for all the respect he has shown me throughout that hectic day.

I took my car there as I was referred. I did not hear anything so I started calling at 4:30 to 5:30 to get the answering machine. They closed at 5:30 they did not call and no car for work the next day. I was shocked at the lack of customer service to make it right . And my car still has the same issue it went in with and no answer... I will no go back !
