We flew out with Regal to moose hunt and the flight was pushed back due to weather for multiple hours. Tony kept us updated through out the process of flight conditions and the staff made sure we were comfortable. The weather lifted and Rye flew us back in to our camp and we couldn’t be more happy with him. He answered all our questions and gave us some breathtaking views. Highly recommend Regal Air.

I went on the Katmai bear viewing tour and it was incredible!! The flight there was absolutely beautiful and we saw so many bears at Brooks Falls. I highly recommend going on this tour! The staff was so kind and Regal was organized and efficient. Thanks so much!

There was a mix up with scheduling (on their part) so we had to make a decision between another excursion we had booked or this excursion. Ultimately we decided that seeing Denali up close was more important to us than the other excursion but it was too late to cancel and get a refund so we ended up losing money.Other than the mix up, the trip was great. Tony, our pilot, was super nice and knowledgeable of the area. The views were phenomenal! Along the way I had asked Tony if he had ever heard of the Dr. Seuss Tower which, of course, he has and offered to make a detour so I can see it. Adding the extra “stop” into our plan changed his whole itinerary around but he didn’t even think twice about it.I wanted to give them 4 stars for the booking mess but the fact that he went out of his way to make sure I saw something on my list made up for it. Human kindness will always mean more to me than human mistakes.

I was supposed to take the Denali tour but the people at Regal Air contacted me the day of and told me that on that day cloud cover was too low and I wouldnt be able to see anything. With as much money as I spent on the tickets I really appreciated the this. They gave me another option (Prince William Sound) or I could have choosen another day. I decided to take the Prince William Sound flight and it was worth every penny.

We took the Denali trip with Nic Peters. Fantastic adventure. If I was going to be in town longer I would absolutely take another flight, probably to go see bears. We flew around Denali and landed in a nearby lake. Sit in the front seat if its an option!

Oh boy that was fun, we just went on a tour, there was a group of 12 of us (2 planes) our pilots went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We flew next to glaciers and mountains. The pilots were very knowledgeable and friendly. 100% 5 star performance. Nick Peters was my pilot and he told us stories of his flying adventures which was very interesting. Definitely recommended

My husband and I were extremely disappointed about this tour!!! We thought this would be the highlight of our Alaska trip, but ended up this is the most turn off of the trip!!!The pilot was very nice and knowledgeable, but the main theme of this tour is to see the bear. Spending $800 per person, you can ONLY see the bear from 150 yards, you might as well just spend $10 and go to the zoo, you will probably see the bear more close up!Why can’t this tour like other companies, go to the mud and be closer up to the bears???Such waste of the money!

My family and I used this service for a bear viewing tour and for transportation on a fishing trip. The pilots double as sightseeing guides and did an incredible job. I would recommend this company for anyone looking for some type of sightseeing excursion based out of Anchorage!

Could not recommend a business more than Regal Air. From the first communication with Tony weeks ago and through the last moment when he ran out to shake my hand before we headed home, Tony was the epitome of a warm, kind, cool guy. Over the course of two days, Regal Air and our wonderful guide/pilot, Kip, took my wife and I out to Prince William Sound and Blackstone Glacier for our elopement and then the next day out to Lake Clark for their bear tour. Kip and Tony just killed it the whole time. I cant fit into words how great our experience was and I would say you are making a wise choice, if you stop reading reviews and just book your tour with Regal right now.

This is an incredible company with top notch pilots. We went on the bear tour down to Lake Clark. Our pilot was Nick Peters who was extremely professional, funny, courteous, and made everyone feel comfortable. His stories are the best and he is an amazing pilot. This is a top notch company and I would highly recommend them for their bear tours.

Erin was very helpful and tried her best to accommodate us but when it became clear that we wouldnt be able to book with them, she recommended other places with high praise. Did an early season bear viewing tour in Lake Clark and it was wonderful! Nick and Ryan were fantastic pilots and guides. Saw about 8 Grizzlies and 6 Bald Eagles. Money well spent. Dont hesitate to book your next dream Alaskan tour with this company. If we ever come back again, we will do their Katmai Tour.

Awesome!! One of the best things to do in Alaska. Our flight home was delayed several hours. We called up and was booked over the phone. 3 hours of the most beautiful Alaskan Mountains and Glaciers ever. Right up close and personal. Regal air is based in Anchorage and does various helicopter tours. We opted for the bear tour and were not disappointed. Fantastic scenery overflying the glacier, an abundance of bears including two mums with cubs and beluga whales. There was even a stop on the beach to enjoy lunch. Thank you Bob for a great day.

Words cant express the magical experience this tour was. Our guide Nick Martin was incredibly knowledgeable, and pointed out points of interest the entire flight. Once we reached out destination, we experienced Brown Bears in their natural habitat. Completely safe, and out of harms way. I couldnt believe how close we were. This is a privately owned business, and incredibly affordable. Thanks guys!

We have taken a flight to a glacier lake. We flew in iconic Beebee aircraft. It was an awesome experience, I would recommend it to everyone.

Great service. They offer boots for walking in mud/water and extra windbreakers. We felt safe and our pilot was very accomodating.

By far the best experience I had in Anchorage on a limited schedule. Kip was our pilot and he was super nice, as well as safe. It was my first flight in a small plane, much less a float plane. When he wasnt satisfied with conditions, Kip actually aborted and returned to drop fuel to reduce weight. Once intl the air, it was incredible. Be sure to take a flight that lands in a glacial lake. Awesome experience.

Brooks Falls to walk amongst 1000 lb brown bears. AWESOME! Pilot Eric was great tour guide on the flight. They went WAY out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. You cant go wrong with these guys. Looking forward to our next trip.

Canceled 3 weeks out due to a death and reimbursed half of 2 tickets (They kept $790 for nothing!!). Spoke with 2 people from there and they could care less

They posted in Craigslist that they have 3 free 55 gl drums. They were on point it was busy but took care of me right away. Thete office was set up nice and lots of room and it was clean and tidy as customers waited for there trip. Very professional. Peace

Ive flown with many pilots and air service companies over the years and believe the Regal pilot we had named Marie-Sophie was one of the best ever.

Our pilot was Deon and he flew us to Brooks Falls at Katmai.First of all, it was over the most spectacular scenery on earth both going and coming back.This is not hyperbole; I have flown many rimes in small aircraft and it was a pleasure to fly with one of the most competent and extremely aware pilot with the many that I have flown with.My wife and I are in our eighties and this was to be a sort of last hurrah to witness the bears and salmon at Brooks Falls and the experience did not disappoint.Thank you, Regal Air, you provided a great and wonderful memory.

This was my MOST memorable experience from our Alaska trip. Our pilot, Bruce, was so incredibly knowledgeable and personable. The flight was SO smooth and comfortable. He even extended our flight time by a little bit so we could fly over the Iditarod racers and land near a checkpoint. Regal Air is a must if you’re looking for an amazing flight through Denali

Book it now! Stop reading other reviews. Bob the pilot took us on a bear journey that was seriously the most incredible thing I have ever done. The flight in was amazing. We got lucky and flew on a very clear day. My only complaint is that we are getting ready to go on a cruise and I think it will pale in comparison to our day with Bob.

What a day! The perfect ending to a great trip to Alaska...Did the flight out to Lake Clark for bear watching. Not sure what else anyone could ask for, the entire staff could not have been more accommodating. Our pilot, Joel...was polite, personable, and professional and not only performed his pilot duties exceptionally well, but was a great host for the entire day. Saw PLENTY of bear and had a slamming good bag lunch provided on the beach, as well as two memorable and smooth beach landings and take offs! Without a doubt one of the highlights of a great trip.

We took two planes back from the Winterlake Lodge and both pilots, Billy and Scotti, were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and helped us spot wildlife along the flight. They were both great pilots and when we landed, it was so smooth that we didnt even realize we had landed.

Jeff Cheng was the best pilot and guide for our bear tour!!!! Smooth sailing all the way, awesome demeanor, helpful, expert on the area, had a great pulse on where the bears are. So happy he was our guy. Absolutely recommend Regal Air for a great excursion.

Great place to Bush Plane out friendly

Regal Air offered an awesome flight seeing experience. We did the Triumvarant Glacier and Mt. Spurr Volcano tour. Myla at the desk was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the routes. The winds were pretty gusty and the water was choppy at the sea port, but our pilot, Joel, handled it like a pro. The scenery and views of the mountains and the glacier are absolutely spectacular! The only negative is out of Regals control, and that was all of the mosquitoes at Buluga Lake. Definitely recommend Joel, Myla, and Regal.
