Welcome to Mrs. Kumons Center! As an Instructor, I will serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. At my Kumon Center, I personally create an individualized study plan for each child to ensure their success.A little bit about myself. Yes, Mrs. Kumon is my real name! My husbands grandfather, Toru Kumon is the founder of the Kumon method and opened the first Kumon Center in 1956. I am also a former Kumon student myself. I studied Kumon throughout my childhood which has greatly contributed to my academic success. Now that I have two children of my own, I am a proud Kumon parent as well. I understand and relate to parents who are trying to keep up with the academic pressures that our children face today. Needless to say, I am truly passionate and knowledgeable about the Kumon Method.I hold my master of arts in teaching from USC and have years of experience working as an elementary teacher in both public and private schools. I sincerely love helping children learn and grow. Nothing is more exciting than unlocking a childs potential.
