I signed up for service telling them my tree I wanted to be sprayed was in an enclosed patio so they had to tell me so I could let them in. 2 weeks no call. I called made an appt. the day was 2 weeks later I checked appt info on the day I expected them and found they had changed the date without notifying me which was a date I could not their servicemeet them. one month and no service. I cancelled
We are really pleased with the lawn and tree care we get from TruGreen. Growing green grass in San Diego county is a challenge and these guys make it so easy. We have the best looking front and back yard in the complex. Joe does a great job for us always keeps us informed and prompt.
Signed up for lawn care and separately for tree and shrub care. Trees and shrubs and done fairly well on their watch. Lawn service - less than satisfactory results. Biggest problem - Service and Communication. Each technician that comes out has a different solution for a problem. Blames the problem on the previous technician. They play a shell game when you try to contact them. I have called the local Orange County office MANY times - no one ever answers - it gets forwarded to their National office. These are just office clerks who know nothing about what goes on in the field and are trained to profusely apologize and say they will get it taken care of. Yesterday I received a message saying they were coming today in the afternoon. This morning I received another message saying they were coming between 7am and 1pm. This caused me to cancel other plans for the morning. When the tech showed up in the morning he said he was there for a different type of lawn service - not the aeration and seeding that I was expecting. Turns out that TruGreen had scheduled TWO different lawn services for the same day - one conflicting with the other. When I called the service number to confirm that the service I wanted was still coming they said yes - between 4pm and 5pm. So assuming they actually show up, they will have WASTED MY ENTIRE DAY. THIS COMPANY IS UNBELIEVABLY INCOMPETENT and will likely be cancelling any future services from them.
I was a first time customer in 2018, I purchased their Lawn, Shrubs and Pest Control services. I paid in advance. The quality of each service was well below what I had in the past from another company at a previous house. Never the same tech, and they never clean up after themselves. Mud, seed, whatever, its all over the driveway, street and backyard. Theyre here maybe 15 minues. I canceled the shrubs and pest service and decided to give the lawn care another chance at the urging of the manager. Now, its 2020. My lawn looks worse than it did when they started. I called and left a message for the same manager but never received a call back. This company is a waste of money. I will not be renewing again. Apparently they dont need customers.
Each technician I have seen has been polite, and VERY willing to answer any questions Ive had. I most certainly appreciate the patient explanation of what products are being used on my lawn, why they are being used, and the results I can expect. I would say that I appreciate feeling like a valued customer. I enjoy having confidence that my lawn is nourished; with weeds and odd grasses being controlled....that having a healthy lawn reflects on pride of ownership and enhances curb appeal. TruGreen service ensures that my lawn will look its best. For me, the most value I appreciate is the FRIENDLINESS and professionalism of your highly-trained technicians.

Very professional service; we get a call day before someone is coming out; they let us know when the rep is on his/her way and a report on what was done is left on our door. All our landscaping has improved since we began using TruGreen so we highly recommend them.
The tech is a high quality, no-nonsense and concerned individual. He has found some of my lawn problems and done everything in his power to correct them, with considerable success. My lawn looks its best now than it has in a few years. Very pleased!
My TrueGreen Technician was very attentive and to my lawn. He appears to spray, analysis and treat my lawn as if its his own. We are totally please with attention to detail provided during our last (all) treatments provided.. Satisfied.
It is wonderful to just count on them to know what to do and when to do it. It takes off a lot of pressure and you are left with a beautiful yard. They are great about coming back if something doesnt take. They want you to be satisfied and will go out of their way to make sure you are.
Not really happy with the service. Yard has lots of weeds and seems like they put annual rye seed on my marathon grass. They tilled my backyard and grass basically died. They are unable to work the services when I am home even after having several discussions. Definitely will not renew contract.
I really wish that there was a way to give this company a negative star review, but such isnt the case. After paying in full for a one year lawn and mosquito package, TruGreen has shown that they are less than competent in their endeavors as well as not caring about their customers concerns. I have tried to call on a number of occasions due to missed and lied about lawn care services and have either been disconnected from the call or have not had my call returned. Today I will be going directly to the office to speak with management and they better hope that they deal with me only, I am the nice one in my marriage when it comes to stuff like this. Do not give TruGreen your money!!!!! You have been warned.
My specialist, Louie, has insured my yard stays beautiful year round. When one of our camphor trees was sick, he carefully tended to it and kept me informed monthly until it was healthy again. I trust their services-they are dependable, honest and best of all, they live up to their commitment to keeping my yard at its best.
My lawn was in bad shape when one of your reps came to my door so it was easy to hear him out. Everything is scheduled, we get reminders, and get a summary of what was done. The best part of all is my lawn looks 100 times better with the service! We have grass in places we didnt before, the browning of the grass has subsided, and it looks as though we will have a healthy lawn in both the front and back by spring.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Their 1-800 customer service is horrible, they will scam you out of your money and continually reschedule your service appointment without calling you!Called over a week and a half ago to purchase services for mosquito pest control for the yard. Explained to the sales rep that the following Saturday 8/3/2019, I was entertaining and needed my first scheduled service before this day. The sales rep assured me it would be taken care of. They have 8 service applications per season and this season had a remainder of 3. The 1st servicing was supposed to take place on Friday 8/2/2019. The rep explained that a technician would show between 8am and noonish. I was told they like to get to homes earlier in the day so that the mosquito repellent would have time to dry. This sales rep goes into we can give you a 7% discount if you pay for the remaining 3 service dates for the year. I paid and was happy this would be one less bill I would ha e to worry about.On Friday around 2 or 3pm I called customer service, because the update online had been changed to a reschedule. Totally upset and horrified that no one called, I explained my frustrations to a customer service representative who showed no empathy and was totally upset that I was upset, and said well what do you want to do? We can just refund you. Upset I told the rep I would need to call them back and hung up.I called back around 5pm spoke to a different customer service rep and this rep listened to my horrible experience and showed empathy and apologize. She went on to say that she would send in a request to schedule service for the next day. The very next day, while at work, around 3pm I noticed again that my service requested was rescheduled. No call to me or nothing. Spoke to another rep and I explained what happen and asked is this the type of customer service I could expect as a new customer? The rep apologized and stated no and rescheduled me for the ext Monday 8/5/2019 between 11am and 4pm.On Monday at 4pm I saw online that i had not been serviced yet. The Trugreen tech Michael G. had not been out yet. I called customer service and the rep said my service window was actually between 11am and 7pm and if the tech Michael G doesnt show up by 7pm I should called back around that time. At 6:57 I called customer service and was on hold waiting to speak with a customer service rep. After waiting 10min to get a rep on the line, I hung up and called back on the 2nd 1-800 number. Their service center closes at 7pm according to the greeting message and that i should call back tomorrow at normal business hours.The customer service rep that told me to call back around 7pm if the tech Michael G hadnt shown up, knee that no one would be around to accept my call and my complaints!This is a total BS company that should be rated at ZERO STARS and reported to the Better Business Bureau. That take you money in an instant and have no plans on servicing you!

I was pleasantly surprised when i saw it worked, all my neighbors ask me how i got my lawn so green, seeing as it was almost dead, I told them, I tried TruGreen, it worked. I spend very little on water and my grass is beautiful.
I would say my experience with TruGreen has been about the worst customer service experience ever. There has been damage caused by TG to my lawn that they refuse to fix. The owner Roy doesnt even care to contact me when I have been calling for months complaining about various issues. I paid a year in full in advance and my lawn looks worse than it did one year ago. Terrible...please read the Yelp reviews from myself and other customers that have used this service in the past year, you will change your mind about giving this company your hard earned money.

The technician was so good as he sprayed my trees & brush plants; he was so good as he sprayed each tree & brush with care & he explained to me what was wrong & with my tree or brush.
True Green is doing a great job on my lawn. We just had the aeration and seeding done on our lawn. The technician who did it, came out and just as he started the aeration - it started to rain (and rain hard). he kept on aeration till he was done. Our lawn definitely needed the aeration and the water. Cant wait till spring comes so I can see a lush lawn. Thank you
My experience with Trugreen was exceptional; they did a aeration for my lawn which helped my grass go from dormant to green. The tech people are very professional & very nice. They are always on time for the appts.

Horrible experience.Signed up for TruGreen in April 2018, they burned the front lawn in August by applying fertilizer on a very hot day. First they tried to blame me for a variety of reasons (e.g. not watering enough, not watering immediately after the application) which were shown to be false. Finally, after a month or so, the area manager admitted their negligence and agreed to take extra measures to address the damage. He advised that they hired a lot of rookies this year and were experiencing a higher level of burned lawns. Ultimately, they never returned to take the extra measures and I cancelled my contract this morning. Overall, my lawn looks worse than when they started. Thanks TruGreen.Please save your money and time and look elsewhere for this service.

Your Trugreen people are always responsive to my needs. The Lawn is looking bad, I am to water only on Tuesdays and Saturdays at night. I go out during the week on other night and water with a hose, but Im not seeing much of an improvement. I have again and again every year the St. Augustine Grass coming up through my lawn, they say they spray for it but it is getting worse.
This is the worst company I can remember ever dealing with. Dont do what they say. BEWARE!

I purchased Tree and Shrub service to eradicate a white fly infestation on 9/22/21 from Larry Stewart. I was promised service within a week. I have called the toll free number and the sales person 6 times and no one has returned my calls. I have been asking the GM. Jeffrey Martineau to call me for the past 3 days and no one can get him on the phone, provide a direct number or transfer me and Jeffrey has not returned my calls either. I feel like TruGreen is scamming me. I paid over $300 up front and no one has provided a service or even reached out to schedule. Whenever I try to call and schedule I get a different story each time I call. If I do not hear from someone today I will reach out to the local Los Angeles News Media, The Better Business Bureau and American Express to dispute the charge.
