If you want to return to a previous employer through this agency, be prepared for the run around. Make your expectations clear from the beginning, so everyone is on the same page. Ask questions. Stay with it, they will help you find work. Truly not a bad agency to go through, follow-up just needs a little improvement.

There are pros and cons to working with them.Primarily, if you are ready to work, they will find you something. But the cons are that the assignments do not last, the pay isnt to write home about, and you will be redirected in circles and possibly lied to. Dont worry, just stay on them so that they see youre ready to work. Unfortunately, the turn overs arent applicable to update your resume. Which is strange considering that you need 6 months experience for the office positions (they pay minimum). I do not recommend any warehouse position that they offer because you will be treated like a number rather than a person. 1 for the best review because I have massive experience and I feel as if I am bogged down to below par work and pay. I highly recommend that you get in and then you get out because the key words for the purpose of this establishment is TEMPORARY. Make the time you need to find something permanent outside. And if you ever feel that youre being discriminated against, contact HR.

Its been over a month and I still havent been paid even though I been calling and leaving messages... No one ever returns my call.

Javier Rodriguez from Select Staffing was awsome help in finding the right job for me as a single dad, he went over all my needs in a very high quality interview, also talk with me about what I can and cant do as a worker and a signal dad, in the same week he found me a good paying job that also works in the time frame for me as a dad, now I wont miss a thing and that includes the bills.

I use to get paid on Thursdays because I have the cash card. What happened that? whats been going on for the past two weeks? It feels like someone isnt turning in the payroll in on time. Almost had to miss work today because I had no money in my account. You should not change the payroll date for the cash cards at random. You should keep it the same like it has been for the past couple years.

I had a pleasant experience with Select Staffing I was recommended by them by a worker from a different agency. All I have to say they did not disappoint they would help me get a job real quick and when I expressed something did not feel right they would place me in a better one. True MVPs Max and Gabby in my opinion treated me like family! If you need work check out the one in anaheim they will get you work period.

Everyone here is helpful . Gaby helped me out find the perfect position! Within a week of applying and interviewing I got a position.

So this place lies a lot they will post a job with good pay just to get you in and once there they offer you something different with bad pay they pretty much lure you in and offer you what ever they want. Horrible place

I love select staffing. I never went without work more than a couple days every few months. Because of them I had the best employment opportunity presented to me.

Some of the staff is pretty nice. Ill say 3 are nice but one isnt so nice she seems to have an attitude problem with me especially the way she gives dirty looks at people and shes never polite or friendly like the others. She acts like her crap dont stink. She acts like shes better than anyone that walks into the office.

Recommendations by family easy process to filing application

The woman who answered was very nice. However, in order to sign up with them, you need 6 months of recent work history. The entire reason I called was because Ive been unemployed for 4 months and havent found work. If I had employment, I wouldnt need an agency to help me find employment. Kind of a ridiculous standard for a temp agency.

They refused to help my daughter find work because she is not Mexican. The lady said to her: Well...youre white. She also told my daughter they couldnt send her out on a job because she hadnt finished her application., but then did not send her the link to complete the application.

The recruiters are either incompetent or racist. I called them up front and let them know my past employment situation and what I was interested in. They told me to come in and I did so. When I got there they said they couldnt hire me because I didnt have any recent work experience, which is dumb considering the whole time I didnt work I was attending college gaining my education. They could have told me this before I made the drive. If you ask me they are racist because without a doubt every potential Hispanic employee gets hired.

Worst experieince ever. They asked for my SSN and after I filled out my application they said they would reach out to me and sent me home. They never did. I was worried because I did not even get a 5 minute conversation with anyone regarding a future job but demanded my SSN. A few months later I recieved 2 emails from select staffing from this location but with another persons name confirming an in person Interview. Are you guys doing identity thefts? sketchy! DONT give them your SSN!!!

Just a bunch of fake ass people that really try making you fail the test just cause you smoke weed but other than that you can be the most responsible employee nor do anything that will even get them thinking bad about you. They say come in for an interview but have you take a long pointless test before the interview which the lady said rarely people get too

Very poor place of business . Lures people in to fill out there applications. Telling you they will have work for you . To leave you on a waiting list. They dont have nothing available. Feels kinda awkward they have you feel out all your personal information. Telling me they will have work . To be placed on a waiting list. And then offer to send you on a two day assignment after there assignment is over they will provide you another job there words GABBY ABASTA junior recuiter. they will present that to a company and back you up that your a good worker. Sounds to me someone aint doing there job right. They have no jobs are they favoring people. Are they want your personal information.before I left i waited to talk to manager susie. I over hear Gabby Abasta say she wasnt gona take none else . Was she just trying to leave early to push me out the building after reading some of the reviews. Now wonder if it could be a race thing as well. I noticed the dirty looks from ms .Abasta.

Worst experience EVER!!! Waisted my time!!!So i applied online.Called them saying i finished my application. They said i had to fill out an I9 form and to call them back.Filled it out and called them back.They then told me to go in for an interview.I come in and Victoria attends me.She made me wait about 20 minutes.She makes me fill out a form before the interview.I turn it in and she makes me wait for another 20 minutes.Then she takes me to a room to watch a safety video about 30min. and to take a test.Turned it in and waited again.Then i Finally get interviewed by someone named Gaby.She quickly disqualified me because i didnt have 6+months of warehouse experience within this year.The interview didnt even take a minute and i was already disqualified.Mind you before coming in i had explained my past job experience/skills through the phone.Thats the whole reason they told me to go in for an interview.I was absolutely infuriated in my head!!!!Why in the world did they tell me to come in?Why did they make me watch a safety video? Why did they make me fill out forms and wait?Nowhere on there website does it say what the requirements are or that you need 6+months warehouse experience.They are so unprofessional and need training.Everyone seems to be on a different page. I dont recommend anyone applying here.

This place is a joke. Unprofessional doesnt adequately describe them. I think they hire their staff from the same place the DMV does.

So i walk into my local branch, with resume in hand and i get in the doors when im told to basically go home and do their application on line. that was the end of that. why are there so many bad reviews about this place in particular and it still operates.
