There is motivation to continue to go to work and then there is mental abuse by your employers. It’s been hard times for all of us but this message was sent to me because I call out for my shift. I was late on notifying them but I really wanted to go to work sick but I was taught into calling out since I am ill and since everyone is scared of getting ill since this COVID etc. I am extremely discouraged and disappointed in this staffing. The place I was sent was terrible to me when I first started but the need for money keeps me here. There was a lot of verbal attacks and micromanaging not to mention family oriented. Minded all completely and I continue to be here, adapted to mind my business and continue forward regarding the fact that I will never be hired here or move up. I have been working here since Nov.2020 it’s now July 2021 So that should say a lot of how much I need the job and how this “email quote” was completely unnecessary plus and exact copy of my agreement. Rude much. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, unless you are like me an is truly in need and have desperation for money to feed your family and not end up homeless again. It’s been a terrible year for all of us and this type of mental abuse is not on our agenda. Really think about where you sign up and put your trust in. Remember to take care of your mental health first and know soon things will go smooth just wait a bit more and fight. People like this agencies will try to push you down like if you aren’t scrapping your knees from crawling on the floor (metaphorically speaking but nevertheless struggling to the point of unwanted thoughts for easy money) they don’t care, it’s just a business. Remember that. So do your research and like I said if you really need the money be my guest and apply, but stay strong because the mental abuse is definitely there. Best wishes to you all. Never quit even though life pushes you hard get back up and ignore the negativity by remembering this is only temporary 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 swallow your pride the worst is yet to end.
Extremely Strange Company! I went into the Anaheim office of Express Employment Professionals recently, and could not believe what I experienced. They advertised a job on craigslist, and I went in to apply. First I went on the computer, and filled out the online application. After that all the weirdness began. My next step was to do an interview with one of their recruiters. The recruiters office was about 20 feet away from me, but the interview was a PHONE interview. Very Weird! So as we are about 25 feet away from each we conducted a PHONE interview. I am 42 years old, and have done many interviews in my lifetime, and this was definitely a first. The gentleman, who conducted the interview was very slow, and the interview took a long time. It would have gone much quicker if we would have met face-to-face, but we did not. After the interview was over he told me that I would have another interview with another recruiter from their office, and I waited for the next interview. As I was waiting I needed to use the restroom, and I asked politely if I could do that. The receptionist said that the restroom is forcustomers only and that I could go the nearby Taco Bell, and use theirs. At this point I had, had enough and told them that I would be leaving, and wanted nothing to do with this company. A person is going through a maze of interviews with you guys, and you wont let him use your restroom. Another first! I definitely voiced my displeasure. After that the gentleman, who conducted the interview came out (first time I had seen his face). He laughed at me. I told them that this is the weirdest Employment Agency I have ever seen, and they were so rude after that, especially the Manager, who was very unprofessional. My point with this review is to warn people that you want nothing to do with this company. There are so many employment agencies in Orange County to choose from, and this is the last one I would choose. I have talked to someone else, who owns a small business, and they once made the mistake of working with Express Employment. He told me Never again would he hire them. After my experience, I found his story very easy to believe. Please do not make the same mistake others have, and avoid this company at all costs.
After signing up for the “temp agency” they send out 300 plus emails say that “your overqualified” “if we think your good your a good fit” typical excuse given to you by all “temp agencies” after spending lil over 2hrs and they cancel over 300 interviews wasted time when I could be applying somewhere else for a job. I wouldn’t recommend this staffing agency to anyone or any company since they have low ratings and bad customer service and unprofessional staff. And it’s a franchise not corporate staffing agency. And the we could have a Sally Diaz J was recruiter responsible “promising people jobs”.
Dont wasted your time with minimum jobs people need to get a career that pays good like HVAC career
SKETCHY AGENCY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!the Express Employment in Anaheim will waste a lot of your time by making you fill out a bunch of paper work and watching videos. I Was promised a job with a decent pay rate after I passed my drug test and they had me waiting for this supposedly job for over a week for nothing. Plus theres an older lady in the front office (Patti) that would make me feel very uncomfortable and un welcomed, so enter at your own risk.
Honestly had me waiting for like a month that sally the recruiter couldnt get to the employer but I contacted him MYSELF and got an interview like days later when they couldnt do that and they are PROFESSIONALS honestly a big waste of my time being there, WONT RECOMMEND GOING THERE !
Great staff! One may not always get the results they want, but they work very hard. In the end, everyone just wants a paycheck. They will help you get one!
My experience with express employment from start to finish was just completely amazing they are a great staffing agency who really care about their employees and making sure they are happy they really make sure to find the appropriate job that fits you. There very friendly and professional. The whole entire staff is amazing especially Sally and Rachael i would 100 percent recommend Express Employment agency To everyone dont go anywhere else youll find all the help here thank you ! I look foward starting my new job .😀
Patti the receptionist is very very rude. She doesnt know how to deal with people. Which is why I left. My 5 minute experience there made me not even want to consider working for them. When I called sally (Interviewer) to let her know about her receptionist and her attitude, she said to me that patti already contacted her & said i was rude. Which is obviously not true & the reason for this review. Sally even got a little edgy from me telling her that her receptionist was rude. They are unprofessional by letting people of that standard work at their 3rd party company. Do not trust these weird agencies, they are a scam & treat you as expendable. I will be contacting the better business bureau.
Everything went well for me with Express, Now Im with the company great pay for the position and very happy. I recommend this employment agency very professional!
I came to this office after loosing hope. I went to another office that was much closer to my home. That office flaked and flaked, so I decided to go to this Anaheim branch. I spoke with Rachel who is a recruiter there. She has given almost every excuse in the book as to why she cannot find a position for me. I would not recommend this agency to my worst enemy. God forbid if they were on the other side of that damn desk, I dont think they would want to be treated the way they do people. 1 star is gracious I would give -5. Very unprofessional and full of lies.
This job staffing agency sucks!! This mom and daughter, hole in the wall agency is real unprofessional ! They give you bottom if the barrel type jobs! They just want your ss# and slave you so they can get there cuts from the company they send you to. Id rather work for SELECT STAFFING RITE ACROSS THE STREET BY TACO BELL!!! Seriously ....
If youve found express employment through Indeed or Craigslist and youre wondering about their material handler position. I will tell you, THINK TWICE. I was hired here and was working at Jellco for 5 months. When youre first hired youre told that you will work 8 hours with the possibility of overtime, thats a flat out LIE. Overtime is mandatory every single day. That means you will likely be at work Monday through Friday everyday for 11 to 12 hours sometimes even more depending on which shift youre hired for. I was working 2nd shift from 3pm to 2am, when I first started they also told me it was ONLY Monday through Friday but then they started adding Saturdays every week. Saturdays were about 6 to 7 hours and were mostly for cleaning. So that meant we were scrubbing down machines, scraping ink off of machines and stuff like that. They made Saturdays mandatory as well, so if you skipped them eventually youd get fired. So if you dont mind being at work for 60 hours (including the lunches) then this job is for you. Theres no work to life balance here, its all work, work, work. If the job was at least relaxed it would be fine. The whole job was basically mind numbing repetitive work, you literally stand in one spot the majority of the time and load stacks and stacks of flat cardboard into machines . The whole place is loud, you have to wear boots and wear ear plugs. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING, literally the bathroom stalls are rotting so was the bathroom sink. The break room is tiny, hot, and it has benches that look like they were from a park. full of ants and dirty..The majority of new hires lasted a few days before they quit. Give it a shot if you need money and your life is based around working all the time. The money is not bad, but with all the time you put in, you honestly should get more. Having a life while working here will be impossible. Id come home around 2:30 am, shower sleep, by the time I woke up it was already almost time to go back to work, I had literally 3 hours a day to be with my family. I dont care if thats a life you are used to, not everyone can live the same lifestyle. This is not a healthy way to live. Dream bigger than to deal with this kind of BS work. This agency will LIE to you. They lied to me many many times. and in the end they basically laid me off and gave me dishonest and unclear reasons why they laid me off.
My overall experience with Jellco Container and Express Staffing was a nightmare I would not recommend them in any way shape or form in fact I would give them zero stars if I could. The incompetence of the staff showed on my first interview. While I showed up on time my interviewer took her sweet time preparing herself ( I could hear through the paper thin walls there, she was gossiping with her coworker and speaking very badly of the employees working there, gee wiz I though if their talking this badly of the employees imagine what theyll be saying about me once I walk out those doors) the interview itself was lackluster she seemed like a airhead, and a klutz. She couldnt even remember what position she was interviewing me for or half the things we talked about over the phone such as my experience or work history I guess all that preparing really helped a lot. So people you HAVE BEEN WARNED! STAY AWAY! if you value your time and patience!
They PROMISE you work but it took them almost a full month to locate a position!!!
This place Ian horrible please don’t waiste your time going
I always refer people and they find them work.
They suck at finding jobs for people they take 3 to 4 weeks to find a job and it doesnt make sense why it takes them so long since they r a agency I wouldnt recommend this to anyone go anywhere else but here all workers are rude.
Great place
Scam!
They say they have work when I call them but when I go to the office they dont have nothing. They mislead m.
Best agency of all! They gave me a good job the next day. I recommend it
