Very unsatisfied with this place They say they are open at 8 o’clock in the morning . Came in at 11 and they told me there is only one person working right now and to come back later when the place was completely empty . They told me that the barber comes in at 12 o’clock noon . As this gentlemen was sitting down texting. Don’t know any other places that just chase people away like that. I also usually tip generously which is disappointing. Have tipped up to 100% if the hair cut for great jobs. Will not be coming back here anytime soon.

It was clean, the guys acknowledged me and were very respectful, and they had a variety of services to include ear waxing services. The haicut was great, but I really liked the respect I was shown. This was my worst experience here I have many burns all over my head because they do NOT know how to use a hairdryer. The guy cutting my hair is turning my head HARD and is pulling my Hair To hard. He seriously knows how to line up a great fade and even washes my hair and makes sure I leave looking perfect. I’ve been coming to A&R for quite some time now, and I can honestly say I haven’t gotten this sort of service anywhere else. The way the employees here greet you and make you feel so welcomed is amazing! I’m very picky about my haircuts but Sam was super patient and heard everything I had to say about how I want it, then he proceeded to perfect the method and I got exactly what I asked for plus more! Best barbershop I have ever been to and will continue going here.

Yesterday I requested a #1 on the sides (going into a #2) and a slight trim on the top. Pretty simple right? Well, apparently not. First, my barber didn’t even blend/fade the sides of my hair properly, so it looks like I just got one length all throughout the sides. Also, he buzzed the sides of my hair way too high approaching the top of my head, so I look really weird now because it makes my head look like I have little hair on the top of my head. I have no idea what made him think buzzing my hair higher towards the top would be a good idea. I now have to wear a hat until my hair grows back. I gave 2 stars because the only positive thing about this establishment is that they’re super nice to you and welcoming. Don’t trust the reviews here, I’m assuming they tell their customers to rate 5 stars in exchange for a discount. Go to a better barber shop please, especially if you like the sides of your hair to be blended properly.

My 2nd haircut done at A&R with Ahmad Said. I had been with my barber in San Diego for more than 10 years, I thought my barber knew my hair and beard and hes the only one I trusted with them since I have long hair and not many barbers know how to cut it properly.One time I was in Anaheim for a wedding and needed a haircut, I came across this spot and met Ahmad. He was very friendly and welcoming. I asked for a skin fade while cutting my hair evenly for a man bun style.As he started cutting my hair, he cut one section at a time dividing my hair into 20+ sections which was very different from my previous barber. As he was going through my hair, I started noticing how my hair was super uneven before which made me happy with his expertise and upset at my old barber at the same time!Thats when I got curious and asked Ahmad where he learned his methods and got his experience. To my surprise finding out that he has 15 plus years of experience, his first 5 years in Belgium and the rest in Canada.Now, I drive all the way from San Diego to Anaheim just to get my haircut, definitely worth the drive!

Austin was starting new school here in Orange county and we wanted him to make a good first impression. Now... Autistic people are not usually ok with noise, or personal contact. So when Abdo...was able to move around Austin and have him stay still in the chair.... and Austin even raised his chin when he was told. He was completely at ease...and when it looked like Auatin might be ancious...Abdo..spoke reassuring and Austin was calmed by a a soothing reassuring voice. Austin even let him put aftershave on him. When we went to pay him. ABDO.. waved us away. .. no charge. On the house ADBO..was very kind and had noticed that the Mother... my ( im a caregiver borh Austins and his Mother) patient had suffered a stroke and that she was raising a son alone. On the house, he said. I couldnt believe it...Austin was calm and let Abdo..shave him without a single annoyance. I am very impressed with the salon and give the highest recommendation for the stylist A bdo and the salon . Thank you from Amy, Austin and Cheryl for a kindness and professionalism extended. Truly a remarkable event where Abdo..was able to be gentle and magically got Austin to cooperate.
