First time to come here and didnt disappoint. I ordered Lasagna it was good. The pasta was cooked just right. My daughter liked the chicken and spinach ravioli with pesto cream sauce. My husband is very finicky with gnocchi; he said it was right consistency, light and flavorful! Our server, Kari is attentive and thoughtful. She got candles in our dessert-tiramisu and spamone (our anniversary)! The check was reasonable with the amount of food we ordered. Well definitely come back!

Got the cold Italian sub, was very good. Large portions, took half of it home for leftovers. Have been to this place several times. Can recommend.

Highway roberry! I was there to attend a celebration of life event and reunited with people that I havent seen in over 25 years so I thought Id get a round of shots for the special occasion. So I ordered 6 shots of Don Julio 1942 and got a bill of almost $400. When I questioned why it was so high she said that the shots were $65 each which is ridiculous. Be careful at this place or they will overcharge you too.

AMAZING FOOD! WE NEED to go back! The Lasagna is so delicious. I am very picky when it comes to Lasagna because it is my favorite and I must have only the best. Well, I have found the best! I recommend it.

I came here because Guy Fieri did a episode here. The server is very knowledgeable about the menu we ordered the rigatoni with dalmer sauce and a medium mama pizza with cauliflower crust the price is reasonable and the flavor was unique. We sat at the booth it felt kinda tight

My girlfriend and I had dinner here for the first time. Service was excellent. But the food was fing amazing! Pizza was superb and psst was superb! My girlfriend was amazed how good her salad was. We are definitely going back. But this time with either some family or friends or both. Yes it was that good!

Terrific all around! First time here and I called in the Family Pizza Meal Deal for take out. They were super fast and super friendly! My kids said that their food smelled like heaven in the car. For $20 we got a huge pizza, large salad, and big spaghetti bowl. Tons of leftovers. I totally recommend them and I will be going again soon.

The chicken parmesian was really good, we got one entree since there serving size is big enough for two. The servers there are friendly and check up on you frequently to make sure you have everything you need. The temperature of the wine I had was perfect. I would come here again and try more of there dishes. :)

Recently dined at this homestyle Italian Restaurant with an adjacent bar and banquet room. Enjoyed the generous food portions given as a diner. Entree comes with a vegetable plate, soup, salad and garlic bread. I ordered the combo plate which consists of 3 pastas: lasagna, ravioli and manicotti. Prices were reasonable and the servers were all very friendly and attentive. Hope to return again soon!

Last year we had a party at 10 on Christmas Eve. With such a large party I was concerned about the service. The service was fantastic and the food was equally as good. They really know how to take care of their customers. This year since the restaurant was closed we took the food to go. It was equally as good it was hot it was very tasty and a lot of it. Great place. Recommend it to all my friends.

The pasta sauce tastes like canned tomato sauce with canned diced tomatoes mixed in. Way overpriced for how bad our food tasted. Nothing special about it. Kind of like the McDonalds of Italian food. Wont be going back.

I have always enjoyed this place at least for well over 20 years but things have changed. Their entrees used to come with soup and salad now you have to pick one or the other the prices are the same in the portions are smaller. That being said its still great quality food absolutely love everyone who works there. But eating outside in the cold with heaters but dont really he is just not for me

I order spicy angel hair spaghetti with mushrooms and onions and it is off the charts delicious. I was so incredibly happy with their spicy meat sauce marinara and the pasta that after my fifth visit I decided to give Pizza a shot. The crust is pretty darned incredible and the size rocks as well. The pizza was so good after taking a bite okay so two bites on my way home I almost turned around to go back and order another Pizza just because I knew the first one was not going to be enough. I am a true 100% Italian born in Brooklyn New York and my parents came here from Italy in 1947. Mama cozas is the best Ive had in all of Orange county and LA county.

Best place ever mama cozzas

Ordered food to go, twice in the last couple months. Initially found this restaurant through the Entertainment Book and specifically went there to get the rack of lamb for a family member. I ordered the Hamburger Steak with a salad for myself and they gladly substituted Grilled Vegetables for the regular sides to accommodate my dietary needs. Good sized portions, made two meals out of it. Family member loved their lamb dish too! Staff is friendly, accommodating and the food was great. Worth the 20 min drive from Long Beach and we will definitely order from them again in the future.

I love Mama Cozzas. If you want true to life italian, check this restaurant out at least once. You wont be sorry. Just make sure that you are really hungry when you arrive because you will receive a lot of food. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your dining needs and the food is wonderful too. The prices are very reasonable and the food has a really fresh taste. If you want good italian cuisine but you dont want to try a well known franchise, you owe it to yourself to try this family owned restaurant that makes you feel like youre at someones welcoming home. And hay,any place that has been on Diners Drive-ins and Dives has got to be good. So give Mama Cozzas a try, you wont regret it.

I called my order in, ready in 15 minutes! I got the special, large ounce topping, spaghetti, and a salad. Fed 4 adults with leftovers. The pizza was very good. I also like the spaghetti, cooked nicely and not mushy. The salad was a little wilted, but still ok. We ordered the blue cheese which was delicious. The dressing is served on the side so the salad isnt sogged out by the time you get home. All for under $20!

Ok so the pizza here is stupendous, but the pasta dishes are honestly not great, the last few times I got the combo with ravioli, lasagna, and some pasta noodle/shell it was DRENCHED in a red sauce that to me was kinda bland and flavorless. Infact if your really wanting to get a better experience put it in the fridge overnight and have it the next day cold... Honestly tasted better than it was fresh, but I digress, the overall staff and feel of this place is great and I love ordering from here :)

This was our second time coming here. We brought a friend with us. I ordered mussles, my husband ordered a small cheese pizza and our friend had the antipasto salad as appitizers.We ordered our entrees my hubby got the angel hair pasta with a combo of mushroom and meatsauce with 2 meatballs, I had the chicken parmigiana and our friend had the eggplant parmigiana. All the food from apps to entrees tasted delicious and pretty well seasoned. My only complaint would be the marinara. As a personal preference I like mine with some Italian spices. We will be returning. Our serve was great, I cant remeember his name. But all the servers are great and friendly and very accommodating to thier customers. If you want great Italian fare vusit the establishment. You will not regret it.

Id give it a zero if I could, I cook way better than this place... The noodles were over cooked they were mushy, the sauce tasted like canned sauce with no flavor, the meatballs were a weird consistency, couldnt tell what kind of meat.

Good food, a little too much sauce

First time here... Ordered the veal with mushrooms and garlic and lemon...it was Horrible! the veal texture was so weird Im not even sure what it is... There was no taste.. So blant... the mushrooms were canned mashrooms and they had no taste or flavor... The whole sauce that the veal was in had no taste or flavor... It seemes even their lemon and garlic are not fresh either!The pasta and its sauce was okay... The clam chouder soup bowl was tiny but tasty... And i did enjoy their bread with the soup. Their frensh fries are frozen and a bit oily... Their pizza was okay but a little light on the toppings and sauce.. Over all a very terrible experience for me... Would never return! Was expecting a much better food specially for a place that was futured on Tripple D with Guy on the food network... so over rated!

Cute place, pizza was really good! Marinara sauce was good but nothing spectacular. Husband said he would get the lasagna again. I had the house specialty salad, I cant remember the name, but it had way too much bacon and Bleu cheese, not enough lettuce. Shrimp cocktail was good, nice sized prawns, cocktail sauce was really good! Our son had the jalapeno raviolis, said they were a bit bland, liked the marinara sauce though.We would eat here again and try some of their menu items. The Muscles, and their Clams in Red Sauce sound interesting.Great service!

My family ordered a large special pizza, 2 salads, and a stuffed mushroom app. We have been doing business with mama cozzas for years, and love the food. The service is amazing. The people in the front end are always nice, and great to talk with. I would give a 5, but unfortunately my family and i noticed a few things. The pizza crust was hard, and dry. The mushrooms taste different as the filling was kind of mushy, and the seafood used taste like it was canned. Years back the filling had a fresh seafood taste, and the filling was moist, but not mushy. Overall the food taste great, but kind of slightly lost its old touch. I still highly recommend.

Food was decent. Pizza was a 5, but the pasta had wayyyyy too much garlic and lacked salt. Waiter never brought our bread from the beginning all the way through packing things up to go, still couldn’t drop it in the bag 🤦‍♂️Ambiance is cozy, but feels like cheap Italian, literally been to olive gardens that feel like 5 star dining compared to this place. Silverware was dirty and so was the second ones they brought out. Saw the waiter twice the whole time. Once to take our order and once to bring us our food packed up. Place was only half empty too so I was surprised at the lack of service. Really wanted this to be good, but I was let down. Next time I think I’ll grab a pizza to go :)
