Due to my terrible luck, I had to park my car on the street for 1 day, the same one my neighbor decided to have their trees trimmed... Of course my car got sprayed with tree sap everywhere. When I tried to wash it off myself with no success, I was devastated. I thank my lucky stars that I found Richard.When he first looked at my car, he only quoted for maybe 3 to 4 hours of work. But as he started to work on it, he realized that its much harder to get off, and it ended up taking him 2 whole days to just work on my car. He stood by his initial quote and did not ask for more money. His attention to detail and work ethic is the most impressive part of this whole experience. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who seeks perfection for their cars.

Richard did a beautiful job on my two Tesla Model S. He performed paint correction and applied ceramic coating on both. He also removed a ding that no other pdr was able to do and coated my windows for free. He patiently educated me about the whole process and provided picture updates throughout the job. He put a tremendous amount of time and effort at a very fair price. I would highly recommend him.

Richard did a fantastic job on each of our fancy cars -- a Maserati Granturismo and a 1957 Ford Thunderbird, but both of those cars had decent paint jobs. This week we gave him our challenge vehicle: My 2003 (18 year old) Honda Odyssey Mom-Mobile that had been recalled because of its lousy paint job. Richard gave it his customary TLC and a little magic (he calls it ceramic coating). It looks so much better -- I can actually see sparkles in the paint again, and it SHINES. Havent seen either of those for years. He wet-sanded and polished the hazy headlights back to clear, and removed a couple of decades of oxidation from the wheels. He even repainted some of the faded black trim.Richard is truly an artist who takes pride in each and every project, striving to give the customer the absolute best result possible. Highly recommended.

Richard and his mad men crew know only one thing, perfection of car finishes. The only dude the best in the business as they are known for. I had my cars paint demo to me with their finishes several years ago and since then, I have had several Vehicles done there. It is impressive to see that even after a car is freshly painted that Richard and his crew there can make it look even better than the painter himself. Richard is not just a detailer, in fact it insults me to hear people call him that. Richard is a paint surface protection specialist, and his reputation is staked on it. To call him with each other is like calling another man a roach. Show Car Perfection is an excellent experience. Dedicated and detailed oriented, they will give you the best results possible. My Lexus RX never looked better than when I drive away from his shop after a simple car wash.

We brought our car to Richard after a kid ran into the side of it on his bike. The father of the kid insisted we go to Richard, who seemed knowledgeable and like a nice enough guy. The first time we dropped the car off, he was able to cover some of the more superficial scratches, but not the deeper ones. He recommended we pick up a paint pen from the car dealership so he could fix the deep scratches. We did this and dropped the car back off with the paint. When we picked it back up, nothing had really been fixed. The first thing Richard said was that the only way to fix the door would be to repaint the car door (which is what we wanted to do in the first place, but Richard insisted that didnt need to be done, and the guy whose kid scratched our car refused to pay for that to be done by a body shop). When we tried to tell the father that Richard couldnt get all the scratches out, he left a threatening voicemail saying Richard said the work was perfect. In addition, we were accused of insurance fraud because Richard told the father we had asked him to do additional repairs that werent related to the damage his kid had caused. Which was completely false. All we wanted was for our car to be fixed correctly. Which it wasnt. Now neither men are returning our phone calls. Richard seems to get good reviews, so maybe when hes not doing side dealings with shady people, his customer service and work is better. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case here.

I was referred by a friend. They provided an excellent education on my options and really took pride in the outcome. I had the front 1/3 of my new car wrapped in paint protective film and the rest of the paint treated. I tend to keep a vehicle for a very long time and the extra protection on my black paint was a must. I am very happy with the results.

Took my car to Show Car Detailing to have some minor scratches and touch-up pen goofs I did myself on my hood. Show Car Detailing performed their magic and removed a couple of minor scratches. However, I was impressed with the work they did on my hood. It almost looks new again. (My car is 3.5 years old now.) I highly recommend Show Car Detailing if youre a car/truck enthusiast like myself :)

This was a wonderful experience. My car looked so great when Richard and his lovely wife were through with it that I thought it was someone elses car. They took years off the paint, shined up my foggy headlights and gave me the surprise of my life. Richard and Gillian and jai welcomed me and my fiancé to their shop back in May of 2019 as I completed my Cs2 paint protective coatings course and though I may not have had any of my vehicles done by them because we live in Virginia. I would ONLY recommend their shop to have any work done. Richard has a ton of experience in his line of work. Trust me I’m a professional detailer in Virginia, and his attention to detail weather it’s a train wreck of a paint finish or something just off the lot from the dealership, he will exceed your expectations and take all his skills and knowledge to bring your vehicles back to a “show car “ finish. Stopped by for an estimate on my car thinking it’d be $240-$400... they gave me an estimate for nearly $2,000.00. No way folks, seriously overpriced.

As a car enthusiast I actually enjoy detailing my car. I find it fun, but sometimes Im not sure what to use or how to use it. A quick stop by SCD and you will get professional advice, friendly customer service and outstanding products. Ive also seen a lot of exotic cars in the shop getting detailed in various degrees (wash, paint restoration, paint sealing, etc.) and I have always left amazed at the wonders they work. Most of all what keeps me going back are the owners and staff that take the time to explain the products and application in a friendly manner.

They did an excellent job detailing and and applying CQuartz Finest to my Model S a few years ago. The amount of work they did perfecting the flaws from the factory paint job before applying the finish was amazing. I had a hit an run accident a year later and they did a great job repairing the damage. You cant even tell it was repaired. I recommend them highly and will go back when I need my Tesla recoated.

I took my Camaro ZL1 to Show Car Detailing and they did an amazing job on my car! They not only perfected the paint by removing all of the swirls & scratches but they touched up the paint on my bumper and there is no way to tell there was ever scratches on the bumper. This is by far the most professional detailing company I have ever seen, and they are extremely meticulous and take great pride in their work.I am a Show Car Detailing customer for life!

As a detailer myself, I have relied in Richard for information from time to time and he is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. Later on I went and took a paint coating class with him as we both are extremely OCD when it comes to paint finish. ShowCarDetailing did a fantastic job on my Tesla Model S. Richard corrected the paint and applied OptiCoat to my car shortly after I purchased it. The car looks great and I am complimented all the time.

I took my new Tesla there to get OptiCoat Pro applied. They did a wonderful job, and even a couple of years later the car still looks like new. Even in LA, the car washes off in a snap. They showed me the factory paint flaws they corrected before applying the coating, and were generally very informative about what they were going to do. I had already managed to ding the bumper a bit, and they took a microscope to it to tell me whether it could be buffed out safely or not.I highly recommend their services. Dont go to the places that only offer OptiCoat 2.0, which is the cheap home-consumer formulation. Go with a professional that had training, and itll last a lot longer.

I have been taking my cars to ShowCar Perfection for several years. My latest visit was for my new BMW i3 Sport. My car looks better now than when I piced it up from the dealer two weeks ago! The car had some swirl marks likely from the dealer prep but now there isnt a mark on the car and the paint is well protected. They also did a great job with the window tint! A couple of years ago they were able to save me from egg damage to the driver side doors on my BMW X5. I was sure I would have to paint the enire side of the car but they were able to fix the paint and save me a lot of money! I highly reccommend ShowCar!

Wow, this review is long overdue. Life has now calmed down I dont even have the car anymore! But hey, credit is due where credit is due. Richard and his team are nothing short of industry leading experts, and he is truly passionate (and OCD) about getting car finishes as perfect as humanly possible. I bought a new Black VW Passat TDI in 2015, and planned on driving it for about 10 years. Knowing the headaches with black cars, and hating any paint swirls myself, I set out for the absolute best person for paint protection and coatings in Southern California. After a week of research and phone calls, I decided to use Richard. I was not disappointed at all. He coated my entire vehicle in his best CS-II product at the time, and installed a clear bra on the front bumper. These two services were great (more on them in a minute) But what Richard did in addition to this, is where his talent really shines. He does paint correction if you pay him for it, and it is nothing less than stunning. They remove all swirls, micro-scratches, distortions/defects that you can find even on a brand new car from the paint shop. They are artisans that mold robot paint-jobs to be perfect to the human eye. Literally a glass finish across the entire vehicle. Look at the next dark colored car you see--youll see swirl marks everywhere to the point that it looks normal and on purpose. NOW AFTER he does the paint correction, he seals it in with one of his coatings/and or a clear bra. My clear bra on the front of the vehicle (area with the most impacts) was literally invisible. Not kidding at all. I remember I took it in for him to wash months later, and I had to remind him that his team had installed it lol. Its wrapped around the panels themselves so you see no line around the perimeter. Dont worry, it was definitely there; you could feel it. The entire time I kept the car, which was about 2.5 years after his work, it was the best looking black car that I have ever seen. You do need to learn how to maintain it (he teaches you) and if you follow his advice, you retain that glass finish. (Dont ever take it to a regular car wash; they might as well be using sand paper on a perfect finish like this, with their dirty rags). But when you did accidentally get some marks on the coating, they repair extremely easy, because youre dealing with the clear-coat that he applies versus the paints clear coat. I believe it would be a good idea, at least for a black car, to return it to Richard every 6 months if you want it to keep looking perfect (small fee). If I had a white car, I would probably just enjoy knowing my paint is protected from fading and damage, and has a clear mirror finish. I might return it to him once every year or 2 to doctor it up. Richard is a professional and an artist. If you let him do your car and follow his recommendations, you will have the nicest looking paint job of anyone in your neighborhood (unless you know, they went to Richard too). I should note, that when I had that Passat, I did not garage it most of the time, so it was extremely abused, and yet the coating held up fine and the mirror finish held up great with the minor maintenance that I mentioned. Its a shame that I decided to turn that car back into VW after the TDI scandal!I also want to mention that we had a mix up with the day the car would be completed which he admitted was his fault. Admitting it was his fault is something hard enough to get people to do, but he owned it, gave me a discount and paid for my ride (Uber) to come get me the day it was ready (I lived over an hour away at the time).Honestly he is one of the few people that I have met in life that I felt truly lived, breathed and owned his passion and had actually earned a title such as master craftsman/artisan. Cheers to you Richard for finding a passion, and delivering on it!

Went to Richard for some paint chips on my 2014 Carrera.He says white is a very hard color to correct, but he will try.He says to leave it for a day. Dropped off later in the week for 2 full days. I get it back all that was done was they touch-up the chips with the touch-up I provided (literally just a paint blob on chip, couldnt have took more than 5mins). He says I dont feel like I did a great job at it, leave it with me another day. The time I was there I did notice he is very busy with cars in/out. Since this is my daily, I told him Id reschedule. I call (left message) and emailed just to result in no response.Worst $150 spent!Since then I have had Dr.Colorchip correct the paint and it looks great! That cost $105 and it came out almost perfect.

My wife Vanessa got her Tesla Model X titanium coated on the exterior and had the white upholstery treated in the interior in an attempt to improve kid proofing. Little did we know, Tesla was about to recall our third row seats.Richard took care of us after they replaced the seats hes treated. Very kind! And I tested the titanium coating when the rear liftgate decided not to sense the garage door and open right into it. A barely perceptible scratch in the coating rather than the horror that would otherwise have occurred with an impact of that force. (My untreated S fared far worse in a similar scenario).Quality work, flexible, fast, and beautiful results that were effective when accidentally tested.

I had read about ShowCarDetailing in an article in Whispering Bomb about how they were entrusted in preparing brand new Fisker cars for sale.I thought if they could do that then I should entrust them with my beloved BMW Z8. And the rest is history. My car, beautiful at a glance as it was, had all sorts of swirl marks in its black paint and other imperfections. After ShowCarDetailing had worked their magic, my car is perfect. It looks as though I had just picked it up new from the dealer.
