This is the best ice cream ever!!! Refreshing after a hot day, but not too sweet/sticky ☺️ the size was a pleasant surprise since I shared it with my mom on our drive back from the beach.Thank you for your lovely service 🥰 We will recommend this place to our friends who visit.

Awesome experience! A beautiful and unique way to see the state park while having an absolute blast. The tour guides are very informative and funny and give a good quick tour of the entire pass and some islands around it. Youre pretty much guaranteed to see some cute wildlife like otters, bald eagles, porpoises, and maybe some whales! Definitely recommend!

A nice ~90mins drive from Seattle to a wonderful deception pass scenery. Take the jet boat tour to spend 45mins watching blue waters, bald eagles, otters and may be few more surprises if you are more lucky. $10 parking fee if you dont have discover pass. Its hard to be disappointed by spending a weekend day here.

What a unique adventure this was. We didnt have to spend a fortune to have a fun exciting day. After driving to Whidbey Island and Deception Pass State Park we boarded our cute little jet boat and took off for an hours adventure. We saw bald eagles otter harbor seals heron and dolphins along with the beautiful views of the bridge. It was truly a fun day.

This was an incredible time! Going under the Deception Pass Bridge in a boat was breathtaking and we even learned about the history of the bridge, area, and nature. We saw seals, sealions, porpoises, bald eagles, and lots of seagulls and ducks! It was a memorable time for our family to share together! The captain and our hostess were fun and very professional which made it so enjoyable! This is a must do activity!

Im not sure if we loved this ice cream spot or wanted to curse it. The portions are one size only and they are $8 each. At first we thought that was a little high, but honestly it isnt much more than Cold Stone, so we shrugged it off and ordered one for each of us (my husband and I, as well as each of our three kiddos - 4, 7, and 11). I asked if they had kid sizes and they said no. This is where it would have been nice of the folks working there to describe the portion size and suggest splitting. They offered to make it smaller, but it would cost the same - not helpful. Telling us that it is easily 5 scoops of ice cream would have been helpful to know. When she handed us the BOATS (read: billionaire yacht size) of ice cream I hesitated to take them. I just imagined my 4 year old dumping it in the car. I had to laugh. They arent ripping you off. It is definitely $8 worth of ice cream. But shame on us for not asking for a better size description. It was ridiculous. Lesson learned - share. She offered extra boats and napkins. Wish that offer had been made when we were ordering. It felt deceptive. $16 versus the $40 we spent would have sat better with my wallet and certainly kept the garbage from being stuffed with ice cream.

We went thru the drive-thru and got two boats of ice cream for 4 people, which was plenty AND delicious. Each boat comes w up to 2 flavors. We all agreed Maui Wowie sherbet was the best, and also super good creamier flavors we tried were Caramel pretzel and Moose tracks and Huckleberry. They gave us extra boats and spoons to facilitate sharing. Considering large scoop size prices are reasonable.

I took my daughters there for some ice cream and tour. The staff is very friendly. Captain Alyce was great answering all the question my four-year-old had. Saw some marine life and birds, also got to see a P-3C coming for a landing at the nearby Navy base. We will be bringing family and friends when they come to visit.

My family and I did the one hour tour at Deception Pass this afternoon. It was awesome! The staff took temperatures as we boarded, masks were required throughout, and we were seated a good distance away from other groups on the boat. We saw seals, porpoises, bald eagles, and peregrine falcons. Austin (our guide) was very friendly and funny and we got some great info about the history and the wildlife in the area. It was super fun and we would definitely go again!

This was a fabulous private charter experience for our entire family. We rented the boat for 3 hours and went and found whales, porpoises, eagles, seals, sea lions, etc etc! It was an amazing experience even through some rough waters. Brett was a great captain, made us feel safe and both Bri and Brett were super informative regarding location, whales, and other wildlife. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Highlight of our weeklong family reunion!

We too, purchased two tickets for an hour tour of the Deception pass (last minute), and our tour was about 40-45 minutes. I was a little disappointed that it was a shortened trip, and yet another disappointment was parking situation! It was an absolute zoo! and at an additional $10! We found out about this as we got closer to the dock, by looking at the tickets, not a mention of the additional costs involved and finding a safe parking spot ... We took this trip out of LaConner some years ago and we got to experience Deception pass several times our Jet Boat then was allowed to be taken advantage off by the currents of the pass and it was considerably longer (sorry I dont recall how much we paid), so we thought this would be a similar experience, possibly even better since the boats are different now, sadly it was not. Prices were steep at $8 a cone (we bought two). No Joke, they were HUGE! But honestly when using the drive thru, the cones should not be that big or at least be warned! I literally could not hold the entire tub of ice cream on a cone. I ended up taking a few bites, while it was melting all over me, then threw the rest of it away down the street at Shrimp Shack/gas station. We also are locals (1 yr) and was never offered or asked about a local price. I dont mind supporting local stores, but if you do have different pricing, it should be stated somewhere.

I cannot imagine a better whale watching experience. Within twenty minutes we had seen a gray whale!! We also got to see a humpback whale, six harbor seals, and a bald eagle. You definitely get what you pay for. They know how to find the whales with ease, and they get there faster than I thought possible!Their catamaran style boat also adds a bunch of fun to the trip. We went out on a choppy day, and zooming through the waves was a blast!!! I even got splashed a few times. If you’re not interested in getting sprayed with sea salt, fear not: it’s very easy to avoid, and the dry suits they provide keep you nice and warm. My only tip is to bring something to keep your ears warm. We went out in late July and my ears were still freezing. Also, if you have the choice between and AM and a PM trip, pick PM. They’ve had all day to find and track whales, so you’re likely to get more bang for your buck.To top it all off, the experience was very intimate, with only about 20 people on board, and the crew was both professional and personable. Not to mention, there is a bathroom on board and they haven’t had a seasick passenger yet!If you want whales, a personable experience, and an exciting boat ride for a strangely low price, this is exactly where you need to be.

While 8 dollars for a cone is a bit steep, I understand that a guy needs to make a buck, and the cones were bigger than my head! The staff was nice AND friendly! I would have given it 5 stars except that later in the day my daughter and I had the absolute worst gas ever! We stunk up our living room for hours!! Now I cannot be sure it was the ice cream, but that is a LOT of dairy for one sitting!!

We had a group of 7 that we prepaid for a tour. Two of us could not make it. The employee at the booking office offered us a refund. When we returned with the credit card, the owner said No Refund its our policy. A policy that he made.Frankly, it is not worth the risk or the money. We got the same tour included with a much longer whale tour for about the same amount of money. If you are late or if you change your mind you are out of luck. They will keep your money. Definitely NOT recommending.

A fantastic way to experience the gorgeous Deception Pass area! Ive taken the tour twice, once with a boyfriend, and a second time with family, including a small child. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the wildlife viewing is incredible. Our one-hour Deception Pass tour even turned into a spontaneous orca-viewing trip, because a pod was close by. I highly recommend taking a tour!

We bought tickets the day before, but it was very rainy the next day when we planned to do the tour. The company was very nice and refunded our tickets as we could not stay around to take the tour later that day or another date due to our travel schedule. Regardless, every spot we visited around Deception Pass was breathtaking! If the weather is half way decent, do the tour! Im sure it would be terrific!

Good Ice cream but they have dual pricing to gouge tourists. You have to live on the island to get the local price, living an hour away doesn’t matter. Pricing is about 40% higher for non-locals.Edit reply: Trying to justify gouging people by calling it a discount is total BS. I can understand a discount but when it’s 40%+ discount, that’s just giving your locals a break from your price gouging on tourists.Secondly tourism, while may be a inconvenience at times, it generates a lot of jobs and revenue to your local economy which helps your local residents.

Went here after a hike to cool off and get some Ice Cream. Waited in line at the drive through but once we got to the window the employee closed the window and put a sign up saying the drive through is closed even though they obviously saw us waiting. This establishment is on a very busy two lane road and the drive through goes past the walk in entrance. So we had to wait again to to turn around and get to the parking lot. When we finally made it inside we find out they accept card but not for ice cream. They were way overpriced as well so we decided to not waste anymore time with this place. I work in the area, needless to say I will not be recommending this place to any of my colleagues nor my staff. If they had a zero star grade on google I would use it for this place. Terrible experience, AVOID.

1 hour tour.............To all those haters out there, shush the traphole! These guys did great! I really felt bad we didnt have cash on hand to tip them so hopefully this post makes up for it. Great job guys!!! We are from Bonney lake and I was able to bring my mom, my wife and 2 kids and we had a wonderful time. I can really say there probably was not one person on that boat that wasnt grinning and or chuckling when the Ol Salty Dog hit the throttle.(Dress accordingly appropriate, its on you to do so, jacket, sweatshirt, blanket ect.) One thing I would pass on is planning. Give yourself plenty of time to go through the process of getting tickets and getting to the boat. We got tickets at 330 for a 4 o clock boat and it was just enough time after ordering a small, GYNORMOUS ice cream...lol....which we had to take on the run to make the dock by 345ish. IF we would have had any goof ups we could have been late and possibly missed the boat so I would have prefered to give us at LEAST 45 to an hour so we could have been a little bit more chill time, but that is all on us, i just want to pass on our experience for others to learn and enjoy from. So again, to all those haters out there, plan better or stay the whale home!!!.......p.s. there is a small bathroom on board but try before ya leave the ticket building or they have a public bathroom at the dock but its a lil stinky...lol...
