I just started working at this location today, and I have a whole new appreciation for the employees at Hoffmans! The work environment is very friendly and fun while also being professional and on top of everything. Management is wonderful and very caring about customers and keeping the business the best it can be. Happy to have joined the team!

Car washed really good, my new second hand really clean and shiny ..pretty happy and of course I will always come back for car wash

I had a hard time figuring out how to find the wash I wanted and the attendant took time to come over and help me he was very kind and not condesendind(I totally appreciated that) you can now see the sparkles in the paint job. We are very happy.

I just use it for the free vaccum. The clips for the floor mats was broken on the right side towards the end soI had to lay them on my seats and vaccum the mats. The vaccum doesnt really reach the hard to get to places because its a little bulky compared to the vaccums at the one near the bowling alley, but they charge for the vaccums so free is free even if its not the best o guess.

Multiple scratches to my bumper due to malfunction on their part. the guy working said it was their fault but the owner refused to take the blame or reimburse me. I am beyond furious with their lack of professionalism and just flat out rude Behavior. Two thumbs down. And one finger up. Recommended to those who want to pay to get their car mutilated.

Appreciated being able to vacuum the car out for free. It had plenty of vacuums and spaces for people. And my car looked great after the car wash.

Staff need to put in a little effort into there job...work harder on spraying off people 60k trucks..not worry so much about clearing the line as fast as possible

Unfortunately I wont be getting my car washed here anymore. My boyfriend bought a new mustang and their car wash broke part of his car. Yes accidents happen but when he went to talk to them, one staff member said he saw it on the video footage and it happened there. He went about getting this problem fixed but then when the car wash had him return, the man who has the final say says it didnt happen, must have already been broken, and wont hand over the footage. Just be careful and maybe use touchless car washes so this doesnt happen to you.

I went through the drive through car wash and their car wash scratched my car and they arent doing anything about it. From reading these reviews Im not even suprised. Wouldnt recommend to anybody that values how their car looks.

Im very disappointed w them my 2016 jeep was all scratched up from the Amsterdam wash. I had unlimited, washed once a week. I told them about it and got nothing. I cancelled my unlimited. I would give zero but cant . Sorry Hoffmans I wont be telling people good things about you.

Very convenient to vacuum out car before wash but lately vacuums have been not working properly or hose are broke area not very clean. Hopefully when weather gets better it all will work better.

I wouldnt recommend to anybody. Their drive through car wash ripped my broher bumper off on the driver side and their machines even said it malfunctioned and they wont replace it. They have it on camera also. Terrible business ran by terrible people

People were hand-drying their own cars when they come out as I did too

Went thru very fast didnt get the car clean all the way and still had soap on it. Im not sure what the issue was it was not busy at all actually i was the only one in the wash bay.

Too expensive, they dont pre soak/rinse your car enough and the wash itself is too fast

A little bit of a holdup at the automated machines, because 1 of them wasnt working properly. The gentleman that pre-rinsed my Jeep, didnt do a very good job, as he only slightly sprayed one side, and then moved on to the car behind me. The gentleman guiding me onto the automated track, honestly didnt seem to be paying much attention, and the look on his face, was NOT a smile. Once I got thru the whole routine, and pulled over into a nearby parking area, I got out to look my Jeep over, and saw that it wasnt as clean as it should have been, after going thru an automated car wash. I wont be paying $12.00 for a barely basic, car wash, there again. My husband can do a FAR better job in our driveway, with a sponge, bucket, and the hose.

Horrible last visit, rushed through, back of car still dirty. Six kids working. No one working! Will only go when its slow in the future and checking before I leave. Not up to Hoffmans standards as I know them

Decent place, be careful exiting the car wash stall because other drivers are driving in to go to the entrance. The carwash is in a type of a plaza its visible from the main road. They have the complimentary vacuums there.

I love going through the carwash. Im such a little kid with it! I have to knock them one star, however, because of the newly updated payment system. Instead of pulling up to an employee and actually interacting with them, you now pull up to one of three machines and press a few buttons on the screen. I dont know, call me old fashioned but interacting with humans is so much better than interacting with a robot.The free vacuums here are great, too! Theres usually one or two nozzles that are broken, though, but thats more of a minor nuisance than anything - they are free after all. That just means the hose of the working nozzle goes a little further, oh my. (*sarcasm*)I once used the unlimited washes for a monthly charge and it was also great. My biggest complaint about that was how it appeared on my banking statement. At first, I could never remember what H08 was and it made me very confused. But I digress, as thats more of a corporate thing than it is store.

The scratched the hood of my car (down to the metal) when the attended banged it with a spray wand last year. I pulled right back around and told them and they told me theres nothing they can do about it. My car wasnt even clean when it came out anyway. I wont go back...

I love that Hoffman’s has free vacuums but I think they are lacking on the wash dept.I was just there spent 21 dollars on a premium wash and it had a lot of dirt still on it then my wife went today and her whole back of her car didn’t even looked touched it had salt and dirt all over that back.......in my opinion they need to slow down the speed that the vehicles go through the wash to give the system more time to scrub the dirt off

Theres not many places in Amsterdam to vacuum and/or wash your car. If Im not mistaken I believe there is only two. Hoffman and Ricks Robo carwash. Both of them are good depending on what kind of day your having.What makes Hoffman car wash possibly better is the fact that you can vacuum your car for free and there is more than enough vacuums available even on busy days. The actual wash your car gets at Hoffman might be better than there competitor also. If were talking pros and cons, the cons of Hoffman would be there not open 24 hours (both the carwash and vacuums close at 8) and there is only one car wash building, so you may have to wait in line if its a busy day (the line does move pretty quick though). At Ricks theres several carwash buildings and there open 24 hrs. Ricks is a Robo carwash so they have the ability to stay open all night. The cons of Ricks would be they dont have Free vacuums and there is not as many vacums available to use, but again if you want to vacum your car past 8PM or early in the AM Ricks is open while Hoffmans is closed, but unlike the free vacuums at Hoffmans you will pay at Ricks.Like most competitive Businesses Both Hoffmans and Ricks have theyre Pros and Cons.I try to wash/ vacuum my car weekly and depending on the day and time of day and what Im looking for that particular day (vacuum and/or wash, tire shine, etc...) will be the deciding factor on if I go to Hoffmans or Ricks, With that said I go to Hoffmans 80% of the time so there must be something better about Hoffmans.

Such a great place. My car was egged one night and it dried all over. They scrubbed it and when it didnt come off in the wash they scrubbed it again and let me go through until it was clean. No charge! Great customer service.

Needed the full wash/wax. Next time I WILL get the 2/$34 deal. Looked great except the guys brushing the grill and back-end didnt quite meet in the middle on that back bumper/trunk. I was irritated to discover it when I got home & unloaded the trunk. Guess I better check before I drive off!

Everything is now automatic/computerized screens to pick what wash you want (it was easier than anticipated to use). One major problem is there are 3 lanes to enter which then merge into 1 lane going into the car wash which proved to be a bit of a pain with impatient drivers & it wasnt nearly as busy as other times ive been there. I cannot imagine how it will be during the Summer season if it was like this in the Winter. The previous set-up was more efficient and provided a few extra jobs.

Attended automatic wash is a bit pricey but membership packages are available. Uniquely features convenient array of absolutely FREE vacuum hoses with strong suction into a master tank; you can use one on either or both sides of your vehicle. Wash operates until 8PM; more convenient hours than other car washes in region.

Fast and clean!

This is the best place to go! Free vacuuming and a lot of bays so you dont have to wait so long. The drive-through wash does a really good job at cleaning your vehicle. The attendance were very pleasant and helpful. Dont forget to give them a tip if they deserve it cuz most likely they will.

Was really good for the first year but now they dont scrub my car with a brush in the middle of summer. If I wanted a no touch car wash I would go to a machine! Just sucks cause there are no good car washes around anymore and at first they were so good.

Gets your vehicle pretty clean. Only inside wheelwells were left a bit dirty. Doesnt damage paint. The price is a bit steep if your only going here and there. But if you bye the months worth it can be a much better deal.

They have free vacuuming, thats the only good thing here. I went through their wash and it was terrible. It let all kinds of residue on water spots all over the car because they rush you through it too fast, the wash doesnt get the proper time to do its job. Seems like a fairly good way to scam people, give them free vacuum then make them pay for a lousy wash. I will never ever wash my car at this location again.

I received a gift card from a friend for this place. First trip thru I noticed after I got home that my car still had placed that were not cleaned. Went back again and my car still wasnt clean. It seams like they run you thru so fast it cant clean it right. Very dissatisfied with this place. It was very convenient for me here. I will either do it myself or go elsewhere.

This car wash is quick in and out. Nice to have the free vacuums to use at the end. Not touch-less like most washes now. Gotta check over vehicle after you leave. Always messes up my mirrors.

Went here for their $20.00 car wash 06/10/19. Came through with many bugs still on front, dirty, ugly wheels, soap still all over it, still all wet with droplets all over so that I got out and wiped off by hand with paper napkins so I could see out of the rear view outside mirrors. This has to be the worst for the money car wash anywhere, and I have been using them over 15 states for over 50 years. No wonder they try to get you to save by purchasing multiple washes, nobody would ever come back again otherwise. No matter where else you go, it will be cheaper and a better job. Be sure to get out and check your car before driving away.

When the carwash opened two years ago I purchased the ultimate exterior (2 washes for $20.00) the employees washed the bumpers, windshield, etc. manually. Two years later the price is $32.00, the employees do one swipe on each bumper and act like they could care less. I dont mind paying more but at least keep the service the same.

Been going here for over a yr with 2vech. Pay almost $80 my first vech was a 2016 hyundi sonata the brushes ripped my antenna fin off the car, took almost a month to get the replacement and hoffmens wanted me to travel to albany to have it put on, i told them you come to the place where it happened which was Amsterdam, next they told me they would have to bend my headliner down in 10° weather i said absoulety not, my headliner would have been in pieces. So i had to pay for it myself never recieved a sorry that it happened here.needless to say i was upset about there arragments to fix an issue, next today 7/23/2019 i take my truck through at end it was never dried nor completely dirt and bugs still covered my truck,needless to say i was upset i started wipping off my truck only to see the paint was coming off my bottom part of the box on both sides and scratches from the material brushes used to clean both sides of vech. I went back immediately to attendent to show him and i hope he tried to write up a report, this is so sad to try to keep a vech. Nice all winter and all yr long and you end up with more damage to keep your vech nice i guess i should wash them myself..not sure if they ever replace the so called brushes with all the dirt they accumlate with every wash...
