They diagnosed the issue quickly and when it ended up being a dealer warranty matter, they gave me all the information I needed to have the work performed elsewhere. Jack even told me to come to him if I have any questions or issues with the dealership! I’ll definitely be utilizing Wally’s for any future mechanical work!

4WD actuators and CV joints failed when I to leave town back to work in Washington on Saturday at 3pm. After going down the list of mechanics on Google, all of which were booked out a week or two, I called Wally’s. They made the room for me when I explained my situation and instead of being stuck not being able to make it back to work for a week or two, they got me back on the road by 11 Tuesday morning. Not only that but they picked me up and dropped me off we’re very accommodating and understanding. Overall best service I’ve ever gotten from an auto repair shop.

After waiting a whole week for Smith Chevrolet to look at my car and tell me what was wrong, I decided to take my car somewhere else. I dropped it off at Wallys on Sunday night and by Monday they were able to tell me what was wrong and send me the itemized receipt. They are kind, professional, and they explain everything so you know exactly what they are going to do. By 10 am Tuesday they had my car fixed. I can’t thank them enough and I won’t be taking my car any where else. Best service in Idaho Falls!

Im really torn on this review. My van was running rough. The codes pulled were for a bad o2 sensor and a bad coil pack. The defective coil pack was the cause of my issue and they were honest the o2 sensor did not need replaced. The labor price for the diagnosis and repair I feel was reasonable, 1hr for $80. The coil pack they purchased was the most expensive coil pack carried by ORileys. The coil packs vary from $64.99-$99.99. They bought the $99.99 one and charged me $193. I am fine with and expect a markup but I feel thats a pretty steep markup. I wish I would have been given options for less expensive options for my old 203,000 mile van.

Wallys has been our mechanic for years. Always affordable and so good to my collage student sometimes even checking on things for free for her. We have them check every car before we buy. They have saved me from buying lemons and approved of our last 4 vehicles. They were all great cars.

2 stars now because of what they used to be which was 5 ⭐️out of 5 ⭐️ Not sure what happened but years ago these guys used to be great. Haven’t needed them in a while. My mother in law was having an issue with her car and I immediately recommended Wally’s. They diagnosed and she needed a new battery. They quoted her $250 plus tax the replace the battery.She felt that was an awful lot(which she is right), she need to think about her next step. So they charged her $50 for the diagnosis which would have been “free” if they performed the “rip off the little old lady trick” I mean service.We went down, bought a battery for 60 bucks and put it in ourselves. $110 versus $250 and a free diagnostic.

We have used Wallys several times. Always been impressed with their friendliness, timeliness and helpfulness. Prices are always fair. A couple times the job has even come in under the quoted price and never over the quoted price.

Traveling out of state, broke down on the interstate with separated exhaust tube on muffler. Phone call to Wallys they were able to get us right in. Excellent service, very honest, friendly staff. Staff went above and beyond for us. So grateful for their excellent service and going out of their way to help get us back on the road again. Classic bait and switch. Was told that it would be one price before the appointment, then told that the price was per axle after the service was done. I was very clear when I made the appointment that I wanted a price based on all 4 brakes including rotors. Does anyone have knowledge of a shop that will be honest and up front?

They do a good job and offer a wide variety of services. With a large shop and good sized staff, they get you in and out pretty quickly. Their waiting room is very nice and well kept.

We were looking at buying a used van and wanted a mechanic to look at it, so we asked Wallys if they could do it with short notice. They said they could. They thoroughly looked the van over and did not even charge us! They even looked up how much it was worth so we wouldnt be paying too much for it. They were very kind and had great customer service!

I love going to these guys, the prices are good and they really go out of there way to help.

We were told by another company that we needed a new alternator and they recommended Wallys. Took our car in to make that happen and they called saying that the alternator was actually fine. They could have just done the job and gotten paid for it, but they were honest and they didnt even charge us for the time they took to look at it. We will definitely be going back!

Way to screw people over. My daughter took her car in for a belt replacement. They had issues finding the right belt, replaced the belt changed the oil. And then they told my daughter after we paid for everything told her that her air compressor needs replaced and it would cost about $1200. Never told her her options. While my daughter is not knowledgeable about cars her parents are. All they had to do was put a smaller belton and bypass the unit. Way to take advantage of a single mom trying to her best to make it.

I took my car in for a misfiring cylinder and was quoted anywhere from $200 to $350 based on replacing spark plugs, wiring, distributor, etc. When I picked the car up the charge was $44. I was shocked. They said the problem was that a few of the spark plugs were not gapped correctly so they only had to gap them and all was good. they could easily have overcharged me and told me they did more. This was the second time they have taken care of me in such an honest and cost effective manner. They have made me a customer for life!
