As a single female home owner for 27 years, AIS has been my go to for all my DIY projects & home repairs.... hinges, spray paint, exterior paint, fans, nail, screws, carpet cleaner machine, .... you name it, they have it (or will order it for you).

Most anything you need and much more you dont. The staff knows their stuff. They are courteous, very helpful and attentive. Greg, the owner, sees to it they are loyal. Treat the help well and customers are treated well. The best hardware store in all of the north east.

I LOVE this store. I recently moved to Amesbury, and needed lots of home stuff. Wow! When I walked into this place, I thought I had found the Shangri La of Home Improvements. The staff is so helpful, and the prices are RIGHT! No waiting and no worries. This store has everything you need to keep a home in tip top shape.

They have everything!!! Their staff is so helpful and their knowledge, great. From paints, to light bulbs, cleaning, plumbing, gardening, carpentry needs, pickles, clothing, flags, tools... Tape, hanging art, making keys, signs, Grundens gear, gloves, roping, chains, safety cones, window screens, flashlights!! you name it... I go here first... This is my candy store! (Not all women like,malls)... If they happen not to have what you are looking for, (rare) they will order it for you.

Staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have a surprising amount of supplies, tools, lawn stuff, household cleaners, etc. Its also in an old mill building so its kind of neat inside

This is the best Hardware supply house Ive ever been in. I go here first for several reasons. First, the counter guys are wonderful, and will help you get just what you need. They will even supply an answer to your question. There is a very extensive inventory, of every part, gadget, and screw you could possibly need. They also have quality tools that you can rely on. I like to support local businesses, rather than big box stores so this is my first stop.

Amesbury Industrial is THE best hardware store in New England. If you want professional grade tools to get your job done and extremely helpful and knowledgeable sales people then look no further. Have the big box stores beat by a long shot. One of their sales persons has more knowledge then a whole Home Depot full.

Ive been here 4-5 times and each time was fantastic. They have a great selection of products, big space and very friendly.They are so helpful. As a woman, I have never felt like the people working here are talking down to me like at Home Depot or Lowes.Keep an eye for their strange weekend hours. If youre working on a home project on a weekend just make sure you get in Saturday morning because theyre closed in the afternoon and on Sunday.
