I went into Glens with a super old car needing new tires and an alignment. Long story short, instead of just changing my tires, aligning me and sending me on my way, these guys noticed that my tire was actually loose and about to fall off my car. Instead of just fixing it and charging me however, Mike counciled with me about it and gave me time to think over what I wanted to do. After deciding to get that fixed there was so much more they found that was preventing my car from driving straight and being safe. Again, Mike kept me up to date on everything that was going on the whole time! Their prices are very good and even after working on my car many hours more than they expected to because there was more that needed help, they charged me less than the original quote. I was so relieved and Im so grateful for these guys! Theyre honest, hard working, kind, do their best to help ya out and really know their stuff! 10/10 would recommend!

Glens is now my go-to place for tires. I only needed 2 tires mounted and balanced, they got right on it and had it done before I knew it. Their prices are much more reasonable than any of the better known tire stores. I couldnt be happier.

Glen’s Tires always gives top notch service with the lowest prices. I have a truck and 3 cars in my household. Over the years I have bought at least 10 sets of tires and had radiator and water pump and suspension work done on my vehicles at Glen’s. Their service is fast and their quality is great. I sometimes compare prices, and when I do they are always the lowest. I trust them 100%.

I used to a former mechanic so this is from my perspective.This shop has greats rates and work fast! I take my cars there whenever I need tire stuff done or alignments done and they have always done a fantastic job. Took my Jeep Cherokee in for a post purchase inspection the day after I bought it. Told me mechanically it looked good and suggested some upgrades it definitely needed.Specifically told me they won’t do any work until they talk to me. Great first impression.Few days later, I called to have them give me an ESTIMATE on all the work we discussed. They said to bring it in.I get a phone call a day or two later asking if I want them to do the brakes/rotors “while we are down here” since labor would be cheaper. We had talked about that exact scenario for the quote. I was confused but said yes, thinking they would add it to my estimate that was not discussed yet.About 10 mins later I call back and tell the person on the phone that I never got an estimate so make sure they aren’t doing any work yet. I wanted to choose what got done first.Then I get a call that the work is DONE. Without me signing anything, no permission. I told them I never approved.It was an $800 bill I was going to spread out over time. They did a tune up with spark plugs and wires, front hubs, front brakes and rotors. I pay him, super bummed out.I turn on my car for the first time after paying him and try to drive it down the street and everything is WRONG. Right when I try to start it, it has a suuuuper long crank and the idle is SO shaky. It’s backfiring, sputtering, white smoke, just awful.Mind you, I just drove it 2 hours straight from WY to UT after purchasing it with absolutely no issues.I take it right back to them (about a 1 min drive is as far as I got). They don’t know what’s wrong with it, so I leave it with them.Later that day they call and tell me they aren’t sure what’s wrong. Maybe it was because they put in iridium spark plugs and it was running too hot. But that the vehicle was “too hot” to work on so they’d get to it in the morning the next day.I follow up the next day because no one updated me. They now think it’s a fuel pressure problem because it’s testing low at the rail. I ask if I can take it home and drive it around that weekend and they said yes and that it’s much better than before.NOPE. It was so bad. I lost almost all power on my drive, it was backfiring and sputtering. I couldn’t make it back to my house. I barely made it to another mechanic near by.This other mechanic tried to replace the ignition coil which helped it start faster but it still had no power. I could barely get into third gear. Still couldn’t drive it home.I don’t know what Glen’s did other than do work WITHOUT my permission and now my car doesn’t run.The mechanics there were nice to me and I feel like they tried to do they’re best or what they were told.I tried my best to sum it up clearly. I wish they’d refund me. At this point, I’ve been told by two other mechanics I should get a new engine. I’ve just been more sad than mad honestly.I am highly considered taking them to small claims court at this point...Do not come here.

The car dealer I purchased from preferred working through them. When I purchased the car we had 4 new tires put on. Then a couple months later they installed a turbo for me. Just today I had a flat and needed a replacement. I was simply asking their policy for replacement since I knew they put on new tires. Apparently they weren’t tires from their shop, and I would have been willing to pay for one but the man almost shrugged and gave me a “too bad not my problem” kind of response once I explained the situation - I didn’t even have time to say I didn’t mind paying before he said “call the other guy I don’t know what to tell you”. Not sure what the relationship is between the dealer and Glen’s but each time I called for an update on my turbo they couldn’t have seemed more put off. I didn’t know when it would be done and simply wanted an updated on how it was going but they seemed so frustrated that I called. I was given unkind and horrible customer service all three times and will never recommend them for their unwillingness to help, regardless if it was “their” problem.

Glenn was able to troubleshoot my three-quarter ton Yukon where other shops just couldn’t figure it out including the GM dealership in town. The overheating problem has been solved and the car is running awesome, thanks!

Probably the best place to buy tires and have brake work done in Utah Valley. Superb service. Plus they have a number of interesting antiques to gaze at while you are waiting.

Ok these guys were fantastic to work with. I stopped by for a 4 wheel alignment and flat repair the total out the door was way less then what I was expecting to pay and over just a friendly staff and fast service I will be coming back again for certain repairs

Ive been going to Glens Tires for years and its far and away the best experience Ive had with tires. Had a tire under warranty go flat with a screw in it, it was replaced and I was on my way in 15 minutes. Service is always great, never feels salesy. Couldnt recommend Glens more.

Ive always had excellent service, good, honest advice (I really dont know cars, and these guys arent pushy at all and wont nickel and dime unnecessary services on you) and very competitive pricing. The mechanics will give you insight and have even step-by-step showed me what problems my car had, how to identify it and how to avoid it. I go here for everything auto-related.

These guys are pretty much your go-to for tires and alignments in the area. Theyre honest. If they put your car up on the machine and your vehicle doesnt need an alignment, theyll let you know and wont try to sell you something you dont need.

I ordered tires on walmart.com not realising that the Walmart tire centers were closed So I had them mounted and balanced at Glenns tires because they could get me in the soonest and had reasonable prices. I am giving it 5 stars because they did what I needed for reasonable price and had good availability to get me in however while I was waiting in the waiting Room I saw multiple people get upsold on their car maintenance items and I did not like that. I didnt feel like this shop was anything special and I dont plan to go back.

Mike always takes the time to find the best tires, or dollar value for wheels regardless of how busy he is. A good business and business man in the community.

They are great here! Knowledgeable and willing to work with you on what you need. Not a big chain so there arent corporate policies to deal with.

Good: Some nice and funny guys, did clean work, got the job done quickly. Car looks awesome. Took time to show us a lot of rim options.Bad: A bit shady on the pricing. Said $2 a lug nut, then charged $3, said $215 a wheel, then charged $220, said $160 a tire then charged $170. It doesnt sound like a big deal but the total ended up being $136 more than they originally said. I understand the business has to make money but you really shouldnt say a price for a part and then charge more. You should just say the real price upfront. I overheard other customers dealing with the same issue while I was there.Id just recommend having them write the prices down for you when they quote them to avoid this.Edit: In response to the owners pretty aggressive response, I dont care if you know who I am. It was a fair review and others consumers deserve to have a heads up. Dont sneak your prices up at checkout, be upfront. Customer shouldnt have to police you on price.

While the tires I got are great and price was right my car was not put back together and my jump pack that was over a hundred dollars is missing 😤

Glens tires is Really Great. Its Friday and Glens was closing up. When I saw the person at the desk, I said I was leaving at midnight to go to Canada and if they could help me. One guy got up and with another person and asked for the keys. They both did different things to get my tire off, pull a bolt out of a brand new tire and fixed it the way I was taught back in the day to make sure the long drive would not dislodge a patch. Done. These guys were so nice to stay and help me out. They do everything correctly, as many places do not set the setting on a torque wrench. This is the Place who knows tires. Clean also!

The people were nice and very informative. However they were not very organized with paperwork and prices. They did not give you very many options other than “their way”. Probably won’t be going there again.

I bought a used tire from Glens yesterday and they put it on a wheel that I already had. They were professional and faster than they said it would be. The price was the same that other places had quoted me. How fast and efficient they were definitely earned my business in the future. It was a great tire for the price too!!

I never write reviews but what Glen did for me today was extraordinary. I was upset about a car that I purchased from a dealership and I randomly picked his shop to have my car checked out.  All of my family lives in TN and I was a mess after the dealership surprised me with a warranty cost.  I wanted to make sure I wasnt also sold a bad car.  Glen was busy but he took the time to listen and he cared.  I felt alone trying to fight the dealership for my money back and Glen not only listened, cared, but also called the dealership to have my back.  He spent about an hour of his busy day to help me, even though he didnt know me. I will be getting all of my car maintenance at Glens Tires. Its nice to know that there are honest & kind automechanics that truly cares and this is Glen!!!

I started going to this business shortly after I moved in to American Fork to support local businesses. The first time I visited, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped by Glen directly but the last couple of times Ive visited this location, my experience has been very poor.I noticed that Glen isnt there as ofter anymore so the place is ran by his two sons for the most part who know apparently know very little about customer service with a kinda teenage attitude.The guys are always eating at the counter for some reason and theyll talk to you with their mouths full of food which is very disrespectful. I honestly rather pay a little extra and take my business over to their competitor in order to get a better experience and quality work.

These guys are the best of the best. Been going here for I think 3-5 years. Their oil changes arent an arm and a leg to pay for. The guys are down to earth and honest about everything. Unlike other mechanics and car shops, Ive never felt as though theyre trying to screw me over and squeeze every penny out of me. I go here for everything. Had AC problems with my truck and thought the whole system was shot and the other shops I called were quoting roughly $1,000 to fix it. I brought it in and the guys were friendly and very helpful. They were also very honest and fixed my AC for a much more affordable price. Ive returned for brakes and had my U-Joints replaced and was again thankful to their staff who are warm and friendly. They even helped my unload and load my motorcycle each time so I didnt have to walk back to work. Its hard to find a shop you can trust who doesnt gouge you to cover their overhead. These guys do quality work at a good price and theyre very friend. They even hired one of our local Mentally handicapped gentleman and are teaching him a skill and building his self-esteem which only solidifies the fact that this shop and its mechanics are are second to none. We have been going to Glen’s Tires for several years. They have great prices and services, but most importantly they are honest with what your car needs! I heard how great this place was from multiple people. My car had a slow leak in the tire. I dropped it off to Glen and he repaired it for me within an hour. When I went back to get my car and got out my wallet he told me it was on him! He was the nicest guy and I will for sure be coming back next time I need anything!

Wow, I have been reading through the reviews and i honestly cannot believe the way the owner has responded to some of the customer reviews. An owner should apologize when a customer has an issue and try to do what they can to resolve the problem, not criticize and go off on them because they left an honest review. Based on what I have read, I will not be taking my business here. It is very unprofessional for an owner to ever respond in such a manner and its sad that he obviously could care less about how he looks to potential new customers. I would never go somewhere knowing if I have a problem thats the kind of response I would get.

I had a great experience with Glens Tires today. I do business with them regularly, and have always found them to be honest, fair, and pleasant people. I have recommended them to all of my children, and my friends. Their prices are consistently reasonable, and usually lower than their competition. They do quality work and give me an honest evaluation. I recommend them without qualification.

They always take great care of me here. We bought tires from them and they gave us a great price on better tires than we could find on our own at Costco or Walmart. They were very open in communicating with us about all our options. And the service is incredible. Any time I had any problems they were fast and kind. We get a lot of nails because of all the building happening in our area and they take care of us quickly and don’t charge us for simple repairs. We bought a new car that doesn’t have their tires, and they still take great care of us. I go to them for tire rotations and they check on everything and keep me well informed. Just today I had them do a rotation and found a nail and didn’t charge me to repair it. They are very straightforward with me on what needs to be done and don’t try to upsell me ever. I will continue to take my business to them because of their incredible service. And they don’t get annoyed at my rambunctious toddler running around and trying to destroy the place! I’m a customer for life.

I purchased a set of 4 PO2s the other day from these guys. It was a great experience all in all. I got pricing from a number of places, one being just down the road from them. They (the other tire store just down the road) told me a price, almost to go to be true, and when I called back excited to get my tires put on my car they said they were not available any more.So I called Glenns. They said they could order them no problem and a day later I had them on my car.The price was a little more (28$ for all 4) but well worth it. being the fact I really couldnt get them for the price I was quoted from the other store it was really worth it.They were fast, professional and curious even considering I didnt go to them in the first place.I will buy all my tires from them from now on. I took my car in to get a quote on four new tires. When I went to pay for their work, they charged me more than the quoted price. They said they gave me the wrong quote because my rims are 17 inch and they quoted me for 16 inch. They should have noticed the size difference. They werent willing to reduce the price so I paid it. I dont have any complaints about the tires, but I wont be going back.

I walked in, was kindly greeted, they mounted and balanced the tires for my wifes car, and I was out within 20 minutes. Very fairly priced, super polite workers, incredible experience. Couldnt ask for more. You guys rock!
