Great starter place in a quiet neighborhood if it is your first time moving out. Buildings are a little older but decently maintained by a competent maintenance crew and any issues are resolved within a reasonable amount of time. Rent is competitive given the area and other comparable apartments, but great service is what makes this place a value. Wendy is more than fair when it comes to resolving any issues and worked with me on my situation to get my foot in the ground, would definitely have stayed longer than 2 years had I chosen to continue paying rent instead of a mortgage, but would definitely consider moving back here as an interim if I choose to rent my home out and find a new home!tl;dr: as long as you communicate with Wendy she is more than willing to accommodate your situation to the best of her ability.

Great neighborhood to live in. Very quite and everyone around is just so friendly. The staff in the office are always so sweet and will help you as much as possible. The maintenance gets things done very quickly and it is done correctly the first time. Property is always so clean and the remodel of the property looks amazing! This is the place that you want to live!!

The remodel was cheaply done. The paint is peeling of and certain things are falling apart. There is no storage or closet space whatsoever. bad things I can say about this place is our neighbors! They have no respect and their kids constantly scream, yell, running up and down the stairs, throwing basketball against the walls, slamming doors and more. All kinds of different people coming and going through the day and especially at night blasting their music loud for anyone to hear!! I have called and made many complaints but nothing has been done. I wish I didnt renew my lease. It was good and peaceful until they moved in. How they fit all those kids and people in that two-bedroom apartment is crazy. It continues to happen to this day they only get a slap on the hand. I was told they do one more thing wrong they are out of here! I’ve called 5 more times and sent emails and guess what they are still here and it keeps happening! It won’t stop. So then something happened to my daughters bed so we set it aside the dumpster like everyone else has done and we get a note which is not a big deal we got it taken care of but it’s the fact that my neighbors can get away with anything while we get a note for this. Do research before getting an apartment. Don’t sign anything before seeing the apartment first. They are cons! Nothing is like the model they show people. They do not care if you have a baby and neighbors are waking up your baby. They talk the talk but don’t walk the walk.

These are the best apartments I have been in, the staff is great. The place is always clean, and the pool is amazing. If you are looking at apartments to rent here in Amarillo these are the ones!!!

Best thing about it is the location

I have lived at Dove Park for over 3 years now. I love the quiet location in Sleepy Hollow and the close proximity to shopping, etc. The units have been remodeled inside and out and have a much newer look/feel to them. The new owners/managers have done a lot to make this a much nicer place to live!

Wendy & Jordyn were absolutely phenomenal!! They were both very kind and helpful throughout the complete moving process! These apartments are beautiful, very modern and in a great location . i recommend anyone looking for a forever home to The Avalon apartment homes!

The ladys in the office are great they get stuff done the apartments r nice and great to live in we have a 2bed 2bath.

All was well, I thought, while I worked year long for them to have an apartment ready for my fiancé and I. Only to find out they didnt have one available for move in date. They didnt refund any of the money I put towards the apartment even though they failed to have one ready by move in date. -_-
