I just called and asked about a quote for replacing the noisy cooling fan of a Nintendo switch my friend gave me because I cant be bothered to do it myself.The person on the phone was super cool and professional. They gave me an estimate for labor and parts to fix my switch (about $60 before tax).I dropped it off at about 5-6:00 and it was ready the next day at about 3:00.Ive had no trouble with anything and definitely recommend them!My Switch was returned to me in the same condition I brought it in as (used, working and no major surface damage to the outer shell, just a noisy dying cooling fan) and its nice to finally have my Switch fan functioning properly.I trust their repair and reassembly skills better than my own.My entire interaction with this place was a nice chill professional service without any problem at all! :)

Let me tell you a story, Google.One upon a time, I made an appointment with ubreakifix Amarillo (as their website invites you to do) because my PS4 had been overheating, and I cant clean it myself due to some nerve damage in my hands.I mentioned that it might need cleaning when I made my appointment online. When the time of my appointment came, I went in and was told, oh no, we dont actually do the appointment thing.Well, okay. Whatever.I tell the guy that my PS4 has been overheating, and I cant clean it myself but admittedly, that might not be the problem, please take a look and let me know. He took it and said sure, yes, we can do that.Fast forward one whole week. Seven days. I have heard nothing.I call them on my lunch break, because at this point Im nervous. I am told they havent looked at it at all during that time (one whole week) because theyve confused it with another, different PS4 that needs a new disc drive, but they can definitely look at it today and get back to me - and lo, they do.They had it ready to go when I got off work, assured me it was clean and in good working order, and gave me a discount for the trouble.They were very courteous about the whole thing, but maybe dont expect quick, snagless service.The End.

This place is ran so badly/ has bad customer service.Called at 4pm to get a screen fixed and was told they “don’t have time” to fix it even though they close at 7pm. Took my service down the road and my screen was fixed in 30 minutes. Battery joes told me they hear a lot of bad stuff about the shop on Soncy being lazy and turning repairs away after 3 PM because they like to leave early. Hope the owner sees this.

No beating around the bush and straight to the point, all questions asked and the price is right.

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Took my phone for screen repair per insurance claim. Arrived at 450pm..2 hrs before their posted closing time of 7pm. Was told they needed 3 hrs to fix my screen and they wouldnt even attempt the repair. My phone ins arranged for a tech from another company to come fix it at my house...40 min repair and thats including polite small talk.

Had iPad repaired there, when got it back. The home button was way low and never worked again. The glass started to rise up in the corners 3 weeks later. Which caused a crack. That crack then voids the warranty. Very poor craftsmanship and repair job.

I honestly cant say enough good things about this business. Not only did they have the best price in town, they were also ridiculously fast. I turned in my phone for repair (broken screen) and left the store at 1700. By 1800, I had received a message stating that it was ready for pickup. I went to pick it up, and the phone looks and acts like it is brand new. I honestly cant speak to other phones or computers, but if you have a Samsung phone, this, in my opinion, is THE place to get your phone repaired. They work with Samsung Care, so they will likely already have the OEM parts they need to repair your phone in stock, and they are certified to perform work on Samsung phones. Again, nothing but love for these guys, and they will most certainly be getting my business in the future, should anything untoward happen to any of my devices.

This place was really great. They took great care of my phone and even put on a screen protector at no charge. I would recommend this place to anyone that has an issue with their phone. Super friendly and reasonably priced as well.

After taking my son’s phone to Sprint to have their repair team look at it. They were going to charge me more than the phone was worth just to open it up and look at it. I left and took the phone to uBreakiFix. I left it there for them to run diagnostics and within 20 minutes I received a call with their recommendations. Luckily it was a simple fix and they didn’t charge me. Hector was awesome and very professional. That will be my go to place to have my phone fixed from now on.

These guys did amazing. I had a broken LCD on my galaxy s8+ and I called around for weeks trying to find a place under 400 dollars and they did it for around 250. It was done in about an hour or less if I remember so. 11/10 would reccomend if you want great service from amazing people.

I have come here three seperate occasions and the third will be my last. First time they didnt put the front camera in the right spot, the second time they didnt connect the speaker, and the third time (same device as the first) I attempted to replace the back cover and tore out the wireless charging pad, I had successfully removed and replaced the fingerprint sensor and after they installed the back cover after telling me the phone wouldnt charge without the wireless pad, now the finger print sensor doenst work...but it was my fault because I removed it, which you have to do in order to replace the back panel. So not only did they not fix the wireless charging pad but they damaged the fingerprint sensor and then yelled at me when I told them it had been working when I dropped it off and then demanded that I needed to be nice. Im sorry but when you screw up I do not need to be overly appreciative that you didnt charge me to damage my phone especially since the only reason I brought it in was because you told me the phone wouldnt charge at all without that wireless charging pad. Not to mention the fact that I was lectured about how they are partners with Google and dont make mistakes that well you have three times now so thats gonna be the end of me taking my business here. Google, become partners with a different company, please. Now I get to go reset all my passwords on the apps that use my fingerprint to log in....which is essentially all of them. U-break they-break.

Im so thankful that there is finally a Google certified repair shop in Amarillo! Its hard for us non-iPhone users to find someone to fix our phones. Just picked up my s8 plus from these guys couldnt find anyone who would do the front glass and LCD repair. These guys gave me a date 3 days away( due to parts needing to be ordered) and my phone was repaired 2 house before schedule! The other places I went to felt like all they wanted was my money and one of them even charged me for doing nothing to my phone.The guys at Ubreak actually toke the time to explain to me the way to go about repairing my phone and even saved me money when they found out it was a less costly issue.Between the friendly management and employees I know this is the only place Ill be going any time soon.

Fixed my S9+ screen. Although it was pricey this was the cheapest place I found in Amarillo. They took a little longer to do the repair than they quoted me but this wasnt a big deal to me.

Literally just left the store. I brought in my Macbook because it had a snapped off headphone jack inside the port. He checked it out, got out the bulk, and when realized there was still a bit inside he went back and got the rest of it out. Was in and out in 15 minutes and its working perfectly now. Never again will I be back to this place again. I got my screen fixed, they put a crappy screen protector on the phone that doesn’t even fit (and I never asked for a screen protector.). My husband places a box on the phone and the screen cracks under the screen protector. When I called they said that the screen protector could make a weak place on the phones screen so when the box was placed on the phone it could have bent the phone just enough to crack the screen. So because of the screen protector they put on it without asking me first is the reason my phone cracked. SMH.

This store should be called u break we break more. I took my FULLY SOFTWARE FUNCTIONAL AND CELLULAR SERVICE WORKING DEVICE in to this location for a screen replacement because they were a Samsung authorized repair store. Little did I know that this would be the last time my phone would ever work again. After the screen was replaced, the phone suddenly stopped getting service where we lived. Now any normal person would think that it was an issue with my service provider...NOPE. I had another phone with the same service provider on the same plan that worked JUST FINE! Some may say it was the SIM card...WRONG AGAIN! I tried the sim card from the device that was working fine in the phone they repaired and it did the same thing and the original SIM card worked in the other phone. So, I took the phone back to the store and they said they ran all diagnostics and everything was fine. But this is incorrect! The device kept doing the EXACT SAME THING! And in addition to this the SIM tray was not assembled properly and would not go back to its proper position. So I had to take the device back into the store for them to run tests again and get the sim tray fixed also. After picking up the device they said everything worked. Well everything didnt.. AGAIN! In addition to the cellular service not working, the charging port was messed up and my phone wont charge! And after all this every person that was spoken to said the only thing they can do is put my old broken screen back on my device and refund me my money. No one can give me a straight answer and everyone keeps saying that because the phone came in broken that the issues are caused by the initial drop, EVEN THOUGH THE PHONE WAS FULLY FUNCTIONAL WHEN IT WENT IN FOR THE REPAIR! There is a horrible supervision structure for this place and this company doesnt care about the customer experience or providing a solution to a customer especially if it will cost them money. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLACE EVER! The staff probably is afraid of me because they know that there is always a problem, which didnt happen until AFTER they worked on my phone. I wont ever be going back to this place again. For those of you Samsung users that take your devices here to get fixed...may the odds be ever in your favor... they sure werent in mine!

Tldr: Phone was working except for charging port. More parts stopped working while ubreakifix was working on it, they blamed it on water damage. Store is uncommunicative. Had to wait two weeks due to multiple orders of parts. Couldnt fix the new problems. Didnt charge me, but now I need a new phone.The store is useless for anything more complicated than a screen replacement, and I wouldn’t even trust them with that. The Google repair shop certification is apparently meaningless.My phone charging port wore out over two years of use and developed a short, preventing the phone from charging and causing the lower portion of my phone to heat up. The next day, a Thursday, I brought it in for repair. At that time, everything was perfectly functional except for the charging port.That repair simply requires replacement of the daughter-board on the phone. I also requested a new battery be installed due to diminished charging capacity from two years of use. The daughter-board was not in stock and had to be ordered.So first, I waited for a daughter-board to be overnighted. That did not happen. Then I waited for what they said would be overnight delivery from a third party distributor. The part did not arrive until the following Wednesday.While being repaired, the screen, speaker, and motherboard-daughterboard cable became nonfunctional. I have read in repair guides to be careful of damaging the cable during such a repair because of how easy it is to damage. I have read that the speaker issues I am having can be caused by damage to the mobo during a repair. Replacing the speaker and cable required ordering additional parts and more waiting.Ubreakifix attributed the charging port issue, the mobo-dabo cable issue, and the speaker issue to water damage and resulting corrosion. In the two years I had this phone, it is possible that there may have been minimal exposure to moisture. However, there has never been any substantial exposure and there was none concurrent with the original charging port issue. If there was any water damage, it did not affect the functioning of the phone.Ubreakifix showed me what they claimed was corrosion from water damage. To me, it appeared to be dust. Ubreakifix showed me the tripped moisture sensor. If the moisture sensor was legitimately tripped, then it is far more sensitive than any of the components, which continued to function until ubreakifix began the repair process. I believe that the additional damage to my phone was due to ubreakifix’s carelessness.Additionally, the company has no supply chain management whatsoever. Inexpensive and small parts apparently cannot be kept in stock and must be ordered after it is determined they are needed. As a result, I had to wait for successive deliveries and ubreakifix had my phone for 13 days.Throughout this process, the store generally failed to keep me updated. I would call in, only to be informed of another problem and asked to authorize the order of another part. I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if I had waited for them to initiate contact.Ubreakifix did not charge for the new battery, charging port, speaker, cable, or screen. However, I now have an issue that will require substantial troubleshooting and likely a mobo replacement, which will cost more in repairs than the phone is worth.Edit in reply to owners response: There was no extensive physical or water damage. The original charging port issue was repaired. What was not repaired were the parts that were in perfect working order prior to damage that occurred while in possession of ubreakifix.
