The crew was very effective and timely to in helping me with an urgent repair of my cars engine bottom protection cover that got smashed and oil change.They worked amazingly fast and professional. When I first walked in I was greeted with a smile from Madison she was very professional, smart and ready to help ease the stress from the loud noise my engine was making she let Jason the Technician/Shop Forman know what was going on and he went to my vehicle right away to check things out he was very kind and patient and explained everything very well. He let me know the problem and the cost. I waited for an hour and it was worth the wait the office and bathroom was clean they had a Bible next to the magazine on the coffee table I loved that. The coffee was good and most importantly my car sounded and drove better when I left there shop. They now have my trust and I will return if I have any other issues with my vehicle.

Besides them trying to take advantage of someone by trying to sell them services that were not needed, they are also very reckless and inconsiderate with other people’s property. After deciding they could not proceed with the job the vehicle was brought in for, they moved it to a lot that doesn’t belong to them and left the vehicle unsecured all day. Poor service and total lack of respect for people who attempted to bring them business.

Chauncey could have made a pretty penny off of us but instead he informed us that the amount of repairs needed way out weighed the value of the car and told us it wouldnt be right for him to charge us all that money knowing that car was finished. He recommended that we purchase a new car and when we told him we were going to look at old cars he let us bring it buy and did a full checkup so we knew we were making a good decision

Best mechanic I have come across. A friend and I were passing through on our way to Montana for a fly fishing trip when our rear differential went out. Chauncey stopped everything and personally inspected and appraised our situation, then called and ordered a new differential to come in as soon as possible. He and his employees conducted themselves in a cordial and amicable way that is uncommon in many automove shops. Chauncey runs a wonderful business.

Had a problem with my FJ Cruiser on Sunday last weekend (4-2-17). Had to call for a tow and asked the driver who would he take his vehicle too? He immediately gave me several reasons why Chaunceys is the place to go. Tow truck driver called Chauncey on his cell phone, made arrangements to drop off the Toyota at his shop and Tony the Tow Truck company owner (T&H Towing) took me to three different motels before I found one that would allow a dog.Next morning Chauncey called me, told me he cleared my codes and the vehicle was running great. He came and picked me up and refused any money other than offered his good karma. I handed him $20 bucks to buy his mechanics something to drink and thanked Chauncey 10 more times. Incredible service and hospitality. Chauncey took care of traveling snow birds many years ago, loaned them his car for several weeks while they repaired the car. These snow bird customers come back every year and visit with Chauncey and his family. Amazing owner and great American.

Traveling through Texas with an oil leak that was progressively getting worse. Had to have something done. At the rest area east of Amarillo a gentleman stopped to look at my aliner trailer I tow, we talked and I told him about my problem and he recommended Chauncey’s automotive. Well as it turned out there was more than just a bad front seal. After looking at alternatives I decided to have the engine replaced with a jasper rebuilt motor.. not cheap. But these guys earned EVERY penny of the charges and their knowledge and work ethic are amazing. Not like going to a dealer and knowing your gonna get financially abused. At any rate I now feel my truck is about as bulletproof as I can get it and it came with a 3year/100k mile warranty.I totally recommend this shop and the techs that are here, they really care about your needs. Thanks to all of you at Chauncey ‘s.

After taking to get my vehicle an Alignment they quote me at $1200, did my own estimate and I paid $300 for Parts and another $200 for labor elsewhere. It is my GUESS that they charge upward to 40% mark up on parts and nearly $100 an hour for service with a minimum of 5 hours of service. I am not an mechanic and do not pretend to know anything about its field but I also wasnt born yesterday.

I took my vehicle here after being displeased with Christian Brothers Automotive. Not only did I get wonderful customer service but they found a problem with Christian Brothers work! This place is amazing and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! They have definitely gained a new customer!

Went in to get an alignment done. I called a few days prior and told them I had replaced everything myself. Owner told me that he wont work on something if someone had done the work on themselves. The guy said he didnt want to be liable. So I was like he sounds like he doesnt want to work on my vechical period. But that Saturday I took it in anyways and literally not five minute later I was told that I cant align this because I had stuck a bolt in backwards..... Which I did but in my head I was like dude just take the bolt out and put it in correctly. Bottom line is I felt they didnt want to work period. But other than that I might try them again but it hasnt been a great start.

Honestly they didnt do any repairs on my vehicle but will I was there I heard him on the phone and he was talking to what I believe was a mechanic and said that a woman was having troubles with her car and then he said that when the woman calls that they both were going where the car was and find out what the car was or wasnt doing... I will be Going there in the future great guy..

I was sent here because I had lug nuts on a Ford Escape that wouldnt come off. Discount tire said they couldnt remove lugnuts. I needed a flat repaired. They were friendly but a bit expensive. To my chagrin they do not fix tires. They took old lug nuts off but left screw in tire. I went to Discount tire to get flat repaired and now found out another tire had a bubble on another tire. Interestingly enough they would fix tire if I purchased another for the one with bubble in sidewall. I think I got scammed by the mafia.

Very helpful staff. They listened carefully to my problem and proceeded to do everything they could to fix it. They let me know what to do to prevent it and to spot it earlier next time. Markup isnt high at all unlike most shops. 100% recommend these guys

They did good work, but they are slightly lacking in customer service, especially for the mechanics. The guy told me I needed brake work done, then when I was asking questions about my car, he took the opportunity of another customer coming in, to leave me standing there mid-sentence.

This is a place where 5 stars is not enough i give it 10 very good and understanding people and chauncy is so good he is like the car doctor you just tell him what its doing and he knows right off the bat i went in thinking. I had to have an alignment but it was the roters and breaks they already had a full day but made time for me any way so go here if you want good and quality service and chauncy you keep doing what youre doing brother god bless and always be humble

Had a Dodge death wobble.. They pretty much replaced every peice under my frontend from gear box to ball joints. My truck drives better then a new dodge.. Plus there the only front end shop in town that had a lift big eough to lift my truck. Very my friendly people there too!!!

I never got anything done there

Kept my auto 2 1/2 weeks before looking at it.Then, rather than looking at the work they had previously done, they went off on a whole different direction citing a problem that did not exist.Had to take the auto to another mechanic who quickly pointed out Chaunceys use of cheap materials and WRONG spark plugs.My car went 109,000 on original factory parts, went 22,000 on Chauncey tuneup before failure.I would suggest anyone find another mechanic. This guy has only HIS interest at heart. The use of the cheapest parts available will make sure you are a repeat customer and that he makes the maximum profit.With all the positive feedback, and after talking with Chauncey himself, I truly expected more.

Look no further! Chauncys Automotive (CA) is Amarillos Trusted Auto Repair Experts. Our Acura MDX needed a new oil pan and I shopped around for awhile before deciding on CA.I was actually going to do the job myself since I didnt know who to trust. I moved to Amarillo last year and used two other shops for an oil change. The first shop used BG synthetic oil which I think is overpriced and overhyped. The second shop used Mobil 1 per my request but ended up damaging my oil pan drain threads and denied it.CA is the third and final shop. (The third times the charm!) I had already purchased all the new Acura parts and CA did the labor. Mr. Chauncy treated me and my wife with respect and sympathized with our situation.Thank you Mr. Chauncy for your kindness and honest business.3/25/17- I took my SUV there again for a transmission flush with BG oil and new serpentine belt. Mr. Chauncy got the job done, and hes the most honest guy Ive found in the business.
