Great place for cat, dog, and even small pet essentials. The employees on the floor are nice and know their way around a long with having the knowledge to help if needed. Cashiers are also nice and remind you about the reward system every time, which is great in my opinion. This location also has curbside pickup.

Took my small rescue mutt to be groomed here and they did a wonderful job! Everyone was so helpful and friendly! They also clipped the nails of my other girl. Very pleased. A sweet note and treats accompanied the grooming. Thanks for the good experience! Will go back!

Me and my sister or getting stuff for my mother and the employees were very helpful and respectful Im full of tattoos even though my face and head and they still treated me well when im not expected to, so that being said the employees here at PetSmart do what they got to do and go out of the way to help people that change their life, just to make the old mother live her last days of life in peace and happiness I thank Jehovah God and Jesus Christ for the people that work there me and my sister think theyre awesome I recommend everyone to this place five stars all the way

This is a very nice store. And I am very impressed with their aquatic area. I am an aquarium hobbyist.

Chelsea (hopefully spelled correctly) was super awesome in helping me set up my fish tank. The hardest part is waiting a week for everything to equalize before I test my water and get pick my fish. So exited, thank you for the super awesome help!!!

I had to buy a different bed for my bird. She hated the different kind I bought at the Pearland store (almost $20) She wouldnt even let me near the cage with it. So, it has never been used.I went to the Alvin store and got the same kind as I had before. When I asked if I could bring back the other one, she said I had to take it back to Pearland where I bought it. It was a nightmare when I went there. So much traffic and no place to park. So, I now have 2 beds. I am going to try my best not to go back to the Alvin store. I am sure I can find food, treats, toys, etc elsewhere.

Do not use the groomers here. We took 3 of our dogs to them, 2 came back with fleas (mind you we have lived at our house for 5 years and have not ever had a flea on them.) When we called they said all they could do is offer us a flea bath, but that we would have to pay for it. Thats not offering anything that is paying for something. They said they could have got them when they walked outside of the store. Are you kidding me, so from the short walk to the car they caught fleas. I dont think so. Then they said our other dog was aggressive to other dogs, but never once barked or had anything to do with the other dogs in the store the entire time we were there. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

They handled my senior dogs with the utmost care. They got their nails trimmed and were out in no time.

I’m not sure if there’s a flea problem going on right now at this Petsmart. But my puppy has never got fleas before and we also use preventative care every month in order for him not to get fleas. For whatever reason as soon as he went to a grooming appointment at Petsmart, not even two hours later I found fleas all over my car and on him, when I called Petsmart and let them know that he definitely got it from them they automatically said that it is flea and tick season and that I should check my backyard. I have never had a problem with fleas and my puppy until I went to Petsmart. Now I have to get my entire house checked for fleas including my backyard. It really frustrates me that they’re not taking action on something that they caused. Now my puppy is suffering and there’s nothing I can do about it because I decided to take him to Petsmart. I am not ever taking him to petsmart again.

This Petsmart in Alvin is fantastic! They seem to virtually always have exactly what I need or what Im looking for. They also have some incredibly educated staff members (Like Cody) who really know important pet information about the right choices to make for food, well being, safety and overall health! The staff is great. The selection is not great on some things (small animals especially). I am thankful for the rescue critters there, but I think that the dogs should be a little more past the registers so they (and the rescue folks) dont get stressed by the front doors and the other dogs coming in. Maybe in the back would be better? Just a thought. :-) Otherwise, great prices and good location.

The greeters was less than excited to be at work, so we were expecting a less than experience when we were seated. Fortunately, we had the kindest waitress, she made sure we had everything quickly and with a great attitude. The food was wonderful, refills plentiful.

Nice store. Always clean and staff isnt bothersome. Good groomers and pretty training is available. Decent all around selection of items here. Fish selection is fair and seem to be in good keeping most times Ive been there.

Picked up a rabbit cage

Had a really super great experience on this visit. I went to purchase some walnut shell for the bottom of my bird cage and wasnt able to find it quickly but the cashier up front sent somebody back to me which just happened to be the manager on duty. She was awesome. She showed me a couple different products and then also one used as a cat litter that was the same thing but about half the price. She also was very knowledgeable on the fish and other things that I ask her about. When we went to check out the cashier was again very friendly and helpful. Was a super super visit.

I went back to this srore today to buy a flea collar for one of my cats who is allergic to flea drops. There was nice young lady at the register, very polite and helpful. The store was so clean and so many great products for the pets to look at. Best thing is, they match prices.

Employees didnt seem to want to help out on the floor and cant get their attention until ready to check out and leave store. Keep checking on certain dog treats for our dog that has allergies and gal at register doesnt have any idea if they will get any in and doesnt offer to check with another employee. So we end up looking for another Pet smart that has the treats needed for our dog

The fish wall has declined to an unhealthy level. It has been taken over with bad snails like a disease. The rest of the store is looking very nice. The cashier was very polite. Just cant stand the condition the fish are in. I use to work in this department. It 8s very time consuming but worth the time to keep it clean and healthy.

The young lady that worked back in the fish department kept cursing under her breath and I could hear her...and I wasnt pleased at all. She gave my daughter and I the fish that we wanted, hopefully she wont be there when we go back. In the event that I do go back and if the same thing happens again Ill say something to her manager.
