One of the best decisions Ive made was hiring them. I actually paid a lower price from the estimate. They were able to get a part that was cheaper, since I asked for a favor to help me save money. They also provided some other options. I have a working washer. Its working fine and it has been months. I am more than happy doing business with them!

First this is NOT AN ALTON BASED COMPANY they have a call center somewhere out side the US probably. And the people they send come from St. Louis if they even show up... my handyman never did show up.. I ended up calling hills appliance out of godfrey and jerseyville and they came the next day and fixed my problem for about 20 dollars less than the service call that these people charged... and once again they didnt even come.

I called them at7:00pm on Thursday evening. They required $59.00 up front.The tech arrived at 5:00 Friday and said he needed to get a part. He said he would get the part Monday morningand he would call before he came to our house. I called the office several times.He arrived at 4:30 pm TUESDAY. After he unplugged the refrigerator and took some parts out and told me he couldn’t fix it. Because the condenser would not come on.He left it unplugged and parts on the top we were afraid to plug it in, afraid of a fire. The refrigerator worked before hecame.

I called today for a tech to come out the man on the phone say 59.00 for service call and if they do the repair it comes off the actual amount. He takes my address and say oh 75$ cash or card. So I say what happen to the 59.00 oh it’s because of your zip code. Well now that was discrimination.

They are so unprofessional..kept me waiting for over a hr. After the 3 hrs . The guy called and said he would be there....but didnt tell me he was comming from chesterfield

I love Alton Appliance Repair! They would really tell you if your appliance already needs to be replaced. They won’t cheat or talk you into something you don’t need. I’ve had them 2 times. The first time was my washer, that still works fine but my microwave really needs replacement! Happy!❤️❤️

My Kenmore freezer stopped working during the night, so I called this repair place in the morning and they were by 3pm same day. They offered a guarantee for their job! It was pleasant overall.

Do not use this company! They are not an American Based company! The dispatchers are off shore! Their customer service reps are very very rude! They rip you off! They tell you the 59.99 will come off your total bill but when all reality it will become part of your total bill! Had an apt for between 8-10 the tech showed up at 12:30 in a pair of sweat pants and a tshirt in tennis shoes that weren’t tied and no form of identification on his vehicle or his person! Very very unprofessional in all aspects very unreliable!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Tech was a nice man. He diagnosed the washer and figured it was the belt. He replaced it and tested before leaving. He did a great job.

The technician was wonderful and came out even though the weather was bad and I’m pleased with the service.What I’m not pleased with is the call center, which is based out of Central America(which was quite rude on multiple calls) and the home office for this company is in Arizona.I assumed I was supporting local.

Was told that they would be out between 9-12. However, they didn’t actually show up until past 1:30. Told the technician what I thought the problem was and he inspected the dishwasher what I thought the problem was. Half an hour later he said that I was correct but he didn’t have the part. He said he could pick it up on Monday and quoted $225 to replace the part. At first agreed, but after looking up the replacement online, we called them back and canceled. The part was $40 on amazon and took 15 minutes to replace. All in all it cost $95 to have them come out and tell me what was wrong. Would not use again or recommend to anyone.

I called my usual guy to repair my Samsung washer, unfortunately he does not fix Samsung. So I went on the internet and googled around and found Alton Appliance Repair. I think I am fortunate to have found and tried them. They were also great with repair and with their customer service. I thought I would be having trouble finding someone who works on Samsung, luckily I stumbled on them, and find them to be really exceptional. I would use again.

I hired them because I heard they have the lowest trip charge and that they have really good techinicans. And I can attest to that now that they are indeed good! Their repair of my Miele cooktop was wonderful. I will recommend your service to others.

This business is NOT based in Alton..The call center is based overseas and they dispatch independent contractors. Very poor customer service.

Repairman showed up one hour late. Did not fix the issue. When I called customer service in Nicaragua she just argued with me. The supervisor refused to send technician out and giggled. This is NOT local company.

Do not use this company everything is done through third parties including a call center in India. The technician showed up 50 minutes late, plugged the appliance in and stated that it worked and left. The appliance does not work and trying to reschedule I went through two call centers.

Horrible service, called to make an appt for washing machine repair said will be there between 4-8 did not show up till 7 30 pm so i called and they said cant make it because of the weather .
