Ive applied here 3 times. The first 2 times they said I was hired and I was given paperwork explaining where the work location was, start time, days and hours. When I showed up to work they had told me all positions were filled. The third and last time, I worked for 1 day and they tell me everyday now that they dont need me even though I was told it was a full time position. Very unprofessional. I suggest going to the Romeoville location they are much more equipped to hire individuals.

We here for orientation it was ok. They lack a little on a more professional stance. If you need a job quick their there.

I got a position through Nexus for a company called Kastelon in alsip upon arriving they had me scratching plastic for 8 hours straight standing in one place it felt like a Chinese sweatshop.. the next day I called Nexus to change my assignment to go to the Carl budden thing and the lady had a rude attitude and asked me in a snubby tone why didnt you go to work today we found out through the company that you didnt go.. I explained to her that I did not like the position and I wanted another to what she replied I dont know call me next week well see what we can do.. so then I asked about my payment and never got a clear answer I better get my money this Friday I dont care if its only one day of work

I was with Carl Buddig for almost a month (3weeks) and i got the job through Nexus. For the past 2 weeks the power went out in the Blue Island Area due to a storm so I was required to return to work even if the power was off. I WENT EVERY, SINGLE, NIGHT UNTIL THE POWER CAME BACK ON! IF I WAS TOLD BY WORD OF MOUTH THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO COME THEN I WOULDNT. Yet I was fired FOR NO REASON(TODAY) ...I CAME TO WORK ON TIME EVERY NIGHT FOR MY SHIFT AND WORKED THE ENTIRE SHIFT WITH NO PROBLEM, NEVER HAVE I EVER WALKED OFF THE SIGHT OF THE PLANT.THE PAST 2 WEEKS HAVE BEEN HORRID, SINCE THE POWER WENT OUT BUT I CONTINUED TO COME, I TRULY WANTED TO BE A PART OF THE COMPANY. BUT I SEE THAT STORIES ARE MADE UP. THANKS FOR TAKING AWAY MY ONLY MEANS OF INCOME...I HAVE A MOUTH TO FEED AND NOW I CANNOT AND HAVE TO SCRAMBLE TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE.....

Very pleased with the employment

A friend of mine told me to go to Nexus Staffing so that I could use his name as a reference to work at the Carl Budding plant in South Holland. I arrive at Nexus around 4:30pm July 29, 2019 and the staff there refused to take my application. They could have just told me the truth but the fact that they didnt really upset me, so I plan on filling a civil suit on the way I was treated. They wouldnt give me their corporate number, either. And all I wanted was a job! I guess you wanted to go home early so you didnt have time to help me. At least you have a home to go to. Some people just arent as fortunate and get very frustrated when the world constantly tells them no! Will someone please just help me find a job?

Nexus is the most helpful agency ever. I recently lost my job. I went to fill out an application, very simple process. Got a job the day of. The three ladies in the office are very professional, greeting with a big smile on their face, and enthusiastic. Very welcoming!If you need a job? Gooo to Nexus!

I work wit nexus temp service in Alsip for 3 months after my last job April 4 they put me in the system as do not rehire. I called every weekday looking for a job they keep telling me they didn’t have anything but they would put me on the availability list. The office waited to June 11 to finally tell me after me calling for 2 months that they will not be hiring me on anymore jobs, and not to call back and hung up on me . I instantly called back and asked for an HR phone number, and was told there wasn’t one. I called the Mantino Office and they instantly gave me and HR number and I got my case through. This office isn’t they bad just one lady who is unprofessional She is Hispanic rounds(thicker), and ignorant.Ps.All the good reviews they made fake pages and put up here themselves.Do not trust The Nexis In Alsip.

Ive been working for Nexus Employment since December 16, 2019 since they took over for another agency and I worked only 2 days and every time I call to see if Im on the schedule Im always told that the company has slow production. I got paid for those two days through direct deposit and I have yet to receive my check stub.

I truthfully do NOT understand why this place is even existing.. i got told to come in and fill out an hour long stack app just to be told to call in during the week.. everytime i did bright and early same answer nothing open will call back if so.. day after day on n off week after week still nothing. Alongside no callbacks when said there would be. Here I am a whole month later and no help from this agency has prevailed whatsoever.. Funny when i filled the app they were sitting on their asses chatting away making jokes joking and laughing about callers as if me and some other guy wernt just feet away filling out these hour long apps... Hell probably forgot we were even there. Oh and their systems were supposively down that day GO FIGURE, are they ever up for that matter cause theres never anything there.. no bad weather was actually a really nice day. This place is a joke and a waste of space, sadly the closest supposive agency to where i live. DO NOT waste your time going here.. it isnt worth it.

Very helpful and accommodating..

I am unemployed already and my mood was worst after speaking with them when I left. They told me they couldnt speak over the phone on what jobs they had until application was completed. Meaning I had to drive there! Once I completed my app I was told to call them twice a week for work. Never spoke to me about any employment period. Smh.
