Amazing European style Wide-plank, White Oak on Concrete Slab!It took me 3 years, but I finally found THE professionals that know how to install Solid hardwoods on concrete: Kings Affordable Floors.Theyre NWFA certified, so theyre trained on how to do this the Right way, and Im super happy with the results! Note: moisture levels (must be low enough) were checked beforehand on my 20 yr slab. You MUST use the right vapor barrier glue. And, the process takes longer than typical installs b/c its best to wait a couple weeks between installation and sanding. SO Worth the wait!

I would highly recommend Kings Affordable Floors. They did an excellent job installing some new areas of hardwood flooring and refinishing the original flooring to match. The job entailed removing the carpeting in 2 large rooms and refinishing existing hardwood in the rest of the house. The large carpeted room was adjacent to a room with existing hardwood flooring so it was important to look like the wood was contiguous between the two rooms. We had an atypical wood pattern which posed some challenges that Alan and his team were able to handle by modifying the newer (longer) hardwood boards to match the older (shorter) length hardwood boards. They interlaced them with the original wood and it is impossible to tell the old wood from the new wood. They moved the furniture in and out and cleaned up good. The final job looks perfect!

Amazing customer service, incredible completion time at an unbeatable price! I had carpet put in the entire upstairs and vinyl floor installed in the entire basement. Both Crews were on time and made it look easy! I would recommend King affordable floors to anyone no matter how big or small the project is.

We used Kings Floors in the remodeling of our home. They provided tile work, carpet installation and hard wood flooring install. All contractors were expert craftsmen in their field. The quality of workmanship in every room is exceptional. Alan King is super accessible, friendly, and committed to customer satisfaction. Prices were lower than others who bid on our work and there has been no compromise on quality in turn.

Alan and his crews did an amazing job on a difficult/custom stair rebuild and hardwood addition to several bedrooms and hallway. We wanted to match the hardwood on the main floor and Alan helped us find a match even though what we had was “discontinued” 5 years ago. We would highly recommend!

We had our floors done before the holidays and could not be happier. We added hardwood in the living/dining rooms and had the rest of the main floor sanded and stained to match. They look great. There are always some issues with any project but Alan was wonderful in making sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Alan even helped in choosing the right stain color. Alan’s company is the best! We remodeled several areas of our home and all of the workers he provided were exceptional!Alan arrived quickly for an estimate, lined everything up and checked on the progress, throughout the renovations. I had never renovated any area in our home and was pleased with the estimated prices.His expert craftsmen were always pleasant and truly cared about the quality of their work.We got hardwood floors installed in the master bedroom and Alan offered to have his floor installer sand and stain the rest of the floors in the house, in order to have them all match!The gentleman who did the sanding and staining floor work was a perfectionist and truly loves what he does!I needed my master bathroom remodeled and the gentleman he uses for tile installation was able to help with the demolition and the overall design and plumbing aspects of the job.He also installed travertine in two living rooms in a Versailles pattern, which is challenging. The floors look so nice! We get many compliments. His tile work is impeccable!We had our staircase remodeled with carpet being removed and hardwood treads and wrought iron spindles installed.There was a lot of detail work and all of the people Alan sent worked diligently to complete each part of the process. Alan did an excellent job with our flooring remodel. His team replaced the hardwood downstairs, replaced carpet upstairs, removed carpeting from the stairs and stained the treads and railing.He was easy to work with, responsive, professional, and provided his expertise all along the way. He stopped by daily to check progress and was very attentive.After the job was complete, my dog refused to go up the stairs so I recently contacted Alan again to come back and install a stair runner. I was referred to Alan and his incredible team by the National Wood Flooring Association after being advised by a certified flooring inspector to only use a contractor with this expertise to correct my problem.I built a new home with a very reputable builder and have site finished hardwoods on a concrete slab. Within months the floor began cupping and unfortunately the flooring company that installed them had absolutely NO idea how to install them properly. Fortunately, I had specified in my contract that they should be installed with a plastic barrier and plywood, which it was not, so after Alan met with the builder and explained how to fix it, the builder worked with Alan to remedy the huge problem.Alan not only used the plastic and plywood but alsoA moisture retardant called redguard and aquabarTo ensure I never had the problem again. My floors look absolutely amazing and everything was done very promptly and professionally. If you want the lifelong quality of site finished hardwoods and you have a slab home don’t listen to all the flooring companies that tell you it cannot be done. It can be done if Alan and his team do your job.. Thank you so much for getting my new home back to the way it was supposed to be.
