Its really amazing that he was able to build our pool this summer in the midst of supply chain issues. We did have to make a couple of changes here or there but he was easy to work with and had great suggestions. I had a wonderful experience with Ocean Blue pools! We had a very old pool that was in need of a lot of TLC. Randall came out and gave a quote and was able to tell us exactly what we had on our hands and the process it would take to get it up and running. These guys are great! We had a resurfacing job in early summer, and were pretty anxious because it was a big investment, but it turned out great. Randall knows what hes doing. ON SCHEDULE. When you get an estimated date, then a firm date, you can bank on it - start to finish. This is a well oiled machine. The guys who get in and get dirty worked so hard and diligently they made ME tired. And the final result is incredible. When we were looking in to renovating our 35 year old swimming pool we contacted several pool builders within the Atlanta area, many of which never responded. Additionally, we had several pool companies come out to our house that never followed up with a proposal. We found Randall and Ocean Blue Pools and we are certainly glad we did! To say that this job was a challenge might be a bit of an understatement. We purchased a renovated home that had a pool in the back yard. However, as opposed to renovating the pool along with the house, the renovation company opted to fill pool with 13 dump trucks worth of concrete, dirt, and construction debris.After having the pool excavated, we started to call some pool companies. Randall at Ocean Blue was the first to respond, the first to visit, and the first to get back to us with an actual quote. We had two other companies come out. One took about two weeks to get us a quote, and they would not be able to get us on their calendar until the fall. The other one we never heard from again.Despite everything the pool had been through, the original shell was still in remarkably good shape. Randall did not seem intimidated by the scale of the job, and told us Ive brought back pools in worse shape than this.This job involved raising the beam of the pool about 6-7 inches, new plumbing, and new electric. The old finish needed to be stripped off, and a new finish applied. New tile and coping were also installed. Last but not least, about 1600 square feet of pavers were installed to create the pool deck and patio. Perhaps the most unbelievable part of the story is that this job was completed in about three weeks time.Randall has an incredible group of craftsmen working for him. Every one of them was kind, respectful and courteous. I give Randall and his team the highest recommendation possible. I am beyond happy with our backyard oasis. It sparkles like the ocean in the Greek islands! Randall and his team did an amazing job on refurbishing our pool. I inquired about the project with three different pool companies, and by far Ocean Blue was the best in terms of setting expectations, fair pricing, and dependable scheduling.It was an extensive renovation that required total resurfacing and retiling, and installation of a salt water system. This was our first pool so we literally had no idea what we were doing. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled on Ocean Blue Pools and Randall in particular. Not only did he visit promptly (others we contacted either didnt respond or couldnt see us for several weeks) and basically designed the pool in front of our eyes. He walked us through material and color selections in the showroom then handled the entire permitting process. Its crazy looking back but the permit took longer than the build. The excavator broke ground on July 8th and we filled the pool on August 7th. Every day during the process I knew exactly what would be happening and when. The communication was excellent and they happily dealt with a few items we added on the fly.I only found out later how lucky we really were to work with OBP. Demand for pools is over the top right now and we happened to be located close to another OBP build so Randall fit us in and I couldnt be happier. The pool is gorgeous and looks exactly the way he described it during the very first meeting. All of this in just under one month. We are incredibly impressed by this company.

Ocean Blue did a complete renovation of our pool including converting it to a salt/chlorine generator. They were prompt, efficient and very reasonable on their price. I will start by saying, “WE LOVE OUR RENOVATED POOL, BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE WE CUSTOM BUILT 15 YEARS AGO!” Thanks to Ocean Blue Pools!!! It honestly looks like a Bellagio Resort in my backyard.I explored several large pool companies when I was in the due diligence phase of my pool renovation. It was not an easy process at all. Each company had a different idea and methodology of how the renovation should be done. Each company responded differently with regard to their proposal. Every step of this process moved me to using Ocean Blue Pools. One company took over a week to give a verbal estimate over the phone, and another company actually sent me text of what the estimate would be! Ocean Blue Pools responded to my calls and emails immediately, never was there more than 24 hours without communication. After about five revisions to the plan, we finally came up with a final proposal. Each time I asked for a change, OBP sent over the changes within 24 hrsI will honestly say that the due diligence and design part of my renovation was the hardest and longest part of the entire job. Once we signed the final proposal, OBP started immediately. The job was finished in less than three weeks, which was astounding considering I had over 2000 sq ft of patio to tile and huge 20 x 40 (9.5 foot deep) pool to resurface. The quality of work was nothing short of impeccable. I enjoyed watching each step from my home office. No detail was left undone. Including the clean-up afterwards. I had only one small path of worn grass when it was all over. Two other pool companies told me I would need to replace all the sod in my back yard once the job was complete. The employees of OBP take great pride in their work. We ran into one small problem after the install and Randall and his team took care of it immediately.My pool looks better now then when it was originally installed. Ocean Blue made a major renovation of my approximately 30 year old pool. It’s been a pleasure every step of the way to work with Randall due to his professionalism and pride of workmanship. The pool, spa, tile, coping, and deck all needed renovating. A number of issues came up, but Randall was on top of every issue. In additional to being professional, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience, a pleasant demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a talented and dedicated work crew. The crew worked rain or shine (in my case – a lot of rain). And in the middle of the project, I decided I wanted an additional shelf put in the pool. Although a second shelf is not a normal option on a pool, Randall completely understood what I wanted, and despite the fact that it wasn’t in his schedule, he jungled and got it done. This is a good company. Their prices are great. They do good quality work and are efficient. Gave good advice on the project, which saved us thousands. Only issue is they do not take any credit cards, even for supplies, and they required a payment before the job began, so you have to trust them. They should consider changing this policy, as it would provide customers with peace of mind. They responded readily to minor issues that came up during the project. If you want good work at a very good price, they are the ones to deal with. Our pool turned out beautifully

Randall and his team did an amazing job on our pool. When we bought our house, the pool was literally black from years without maintenance and the surrounding cement was in bad shape. After just a few weeks of work, our pool looks better then I ever imagined. The addition of the pavers completely changed the appearance of our backyard as well. As promised, Randall and Andrew came out and quickly determined the filters had not been properly cleaned (pool cleaning service was subpar) and performed a complimentary cleaning which fixed the problem. Randall also noticed a rust stain under the pool light which Andrew got rid of for us. I was impressed with the fantastic job Randall did building our pool. His ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction is icing on the cake. You cannot go wrong with Ocean Blue Pools.

Ocean Blue Pools did an amazing job renovating a 50-year old pool that had not been maintained for decades. They took what looked like a cesspool - black water, hundreds of pounds of debris, broken tile, deteriorated plaster and concrete, and even gold fish - into something beautiful. My pool looks brand new, and its thanks to the hard work and design of the people at Ocean Blue Pools. They were great to work with, did what they said they were going to do, and all in a timely manner for a great price. I hired Ocean Blue Pools and Randall to renovate our pool. We were moving and rented our house. The renter was due in very soon and we had to get the pool in good working order. Our pool had many old coats of paint and we were considering repainting again, so we contacted the local pool store to once again walk me thru the painting process. Since the pool had many coats of paint and was severely etched and pitted, I contacted Ocean Blue Pools. After speaking with Randall, he said he could come in and chip the paint off, prep it with a bond coat and re-plaster it in 2 days. Well in 2 days it was done and filling. It looked perfect. like a brand new pool. Our renter was very happy and everything is great! Thanks to Ocean Blue Pools and Randall.

Our neighborhood pool association hired Ocean Blue Pools to resurface our pool and put in new coping. Our pool was built in the 80s and has been resurfaced several times. I got three quotes for the much needed renovation of my pool. My pool looked like an old Howard Johnsons pool with bright blue tile and red brick bullnose. It was about 20 years old. It needed to be re-plastered, the tile, bullnose & coping needed replacing, the light was broken and I wanted to convert it to salt water. I chose Randall (Ocean Blue). He wasnt the cheapest or the most expensive quote. An acquaintance of mine had Ocean Blue renovate her pool and raved about their work. Now I see why. My pool looks amazing with a color scheme that works with the house. Ocean Pools crews were respectful, cleaned up after themselves and their tile work is beautiful. Every project has 1 or 2 little glitches but Randall handled all of them himself until I was happy. I am not easy to please and Ocean Blue Pools made me happy to have such a lovely environment to swim and entertain in. They even hooked me up with a pool service company.
