I was looking for a salon open on Memorial Day and Ellen’s was luckily open. Despite the holiday, they had a full staff and got me back for a pedicure within a couple minutes. The woman who performed my pedicure is named Lanie (I believe) and she was really sweet and pleasant. She did a fantastic and thorough job and my pedicure turned out beautiful! I would definitely recommend this salon.

As a professional hairstylist, its hard for me to trust a nail salon, and to treat myself. What an amazing experience!! I was greeted promptly, taken care of BEAUTIFULLY by Leyna for my pedicure and Tonny for my gel manicure. I felt TOTALLY COVID SAFE and was able to relax and enjoy some HGTV while I was completely pampered. And the price was jaw-droppingly affordable. I was expecting to pay a LOT more. Soooooo happy!!! :)

Went in for a brow waxing. Usually travel to my long time dedicated nail salon in lawrenceville but was crunched with time and needed the waxing. This place was very professional, kind, and did a great job! I will most definitely be back and willing to try other services!

I get my eyebrows waxed here and each clinician who has done them does a great job! I always do a walk-in and they take me back immediately. Only $8 and I get it once every month and a half or so. Definitely satisfied with the service and speed.

After having walked out of another nail salon where I waited for 30 min though I called beforehand with wet feet, I was pretty irritated. I found Ellens on Yelp and decided to head over. I waited 10 min and was assured I would be up soon 5 min in. I really appreciate honesty with regards to time. My feet and hands look great. I dont find myself looking down at my hands irritated because something isnt right. Theyre perfect.My only thing here is that Im used to really soft feet right after a spa pedicure and they just felt like normal. No biggie though.

The WORST acrylics I’ve ever gotten!!! They look so bad, people have asked me if I did them myself. They put on a matte topcoat, and missed spots, so some parts of my nails are shiny and some are matte, but I didn’t notice until after I had left (and tipped 25% since they make you pay and tip before they’ve even put the color on). Also, they filed the nails unevenly, some are noticeably shorter than others, and two are not straight across, but diagonal! I’ve had them less than 24 hours, and a big chunk has already chipped off my left index finger. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ACRYLICS!!!!

This place is great the owner and the employees are very caring and nice I have been a customer for about 9 years always excellent service.

Ive been to this place several times and every time I leave feeling mistreated. One instance was when I asked them to not soak my fingers in that harsh chemical stuff since it makes my skin peel the lady immediately gave a bad attitude and gave me a really bad nail job and a terrible attitude. As she was massaging my hands she threw my hand down when she was done. Im mad at myself for not saying anything then. I tried one more time since it was on a busy weekend and I was in a rush and all the other places were booked and again, bad attitude and a bad manicure and pedicure. Needless to say, I wont be back even if its the last nail salon on earth. I surely wont put up with bad attitude when Im paying for the service.

My experience was horrible. The woman doing my nails was not taking her time and was in a big rush. She was careless and rude, she kept talking to her friend that was doing my toes which was very annoying. My nails didnt even look good! They were all different lengths and two of them already popped off and I got them done last week. I will never recommend them to ANYONE! Horrible nail salon if not the worst in Alpharetta.

Jenny is very rude and not very good at what she does. If you come here I suggest staying away from her.

Ellen Nails in Alpharetta is the absolute worst nail salon Ive ever been to and most likely the worst in Atlanta! Besides the fact that Tina, the owner, practically baits you into getting more expensive manicures that you didnt ask for and walks away with an attitude should you decide differently, she also creates and perpetuates division amongst her employees and only shows respect to whomever sucks up to her the most.Although my nail tech was the most amazing ever, because shes not their favorite, they rescheduled my appointments several times during a single call and wont even acknowledge me with a simple greeting during my service.Not to mention that in their native language, which I understand very little of, but enough to decipher certain sentences, Ive heard them speak negatively about my color choices and me.Having spoken to Tina with what I overhead, after the shock wore off that I actually understood what was said about me, she apologized and gave me a discount for that service. Only to give me the cold shoulder during my next visit.Whatever you do, DO NOT consider this place for mani/pedi services, eye browe arching, etc.. With all the drama that Tina cultivates in the salon, this has a considerable impact on how the customers are treated and the services provided.I only wish I had read the previous reviews before I paid one dime of my money. Im just thankful that there are other nail salons within a 5 mile radius of this one that understands the reason they have a business is because of their customers.Hopefully through social media, the BBB and word of mouth, we can eliminate businesses such as Ellen Nails!Never pay and beg...

The worst Acrylic nails Ive ever had .

I have been to this salon many times, and usually it is an OK experience, however my most recent visit has made me realize that I will not ever go there again.I decided to treat my daughter to a mani/pedi, since I was going back to the salon after 4 days to have them fix a gel manicure in which my thumbnail completely peeled off in one piece, and another nail was following suit.I asked for a specific nail color for my 14-year-old daughter. The nail technician immediately stated, Oh, I dont like that..., etc., etc. Apparently, the color we selected required a bit more effort and time because of the application - which the technician DID NOT want to bother with. She made up all kinds of excuses as to why we shouldnt use this particular color. (It was the OPI Color Paints line.) Finally, after I told her it was what my daughter wanted, she said she could do it. Afterwards, when I looked at my daughters pedicure, I noticed immediately that it was not the same color or finish that we selected. Apparently, the technician decided that she didnt want to spend the extra effort to apply the base silver coat before the color, therefore the color was totally different, and the finish was not correct. When I brought it to her attention, she said that my daughter said she liked it. To which I replied, Of course, she said she liked it - shes 14 and hasnt yet learned how to stand up for herself in these types of situations. This is not what she asked for. She was being polite. After the technician agreed to re-do the polish, she proceeded to work on about 3 other clients while my daughter and I waited, and waited, all the while getting snide looks from the other technicians as they discussed our complaint amongst themselves in their native language (I have iTranslate on my phone). Still waiting...Finally, I went up to the counter to tell them that we were leaving and that I would pay for the manicure, but I was not paying for the pedicure. All of a sudden, the technician was available - with a serious attitude, I should add.Long story, short - I had to wait even more time for the technician to re-do my daughters color. This could have all been avoided if the technician would have just done the job right the first time instead of trying to cut corners and take advantage of a child. It brings into question their ethics and makes me wonder what else they cut corners on. I will not be back.

Been going to Ellen Nails for 6 years, ALWAYS GREAT service. Sure some nail techs are better than others, but if you have a problem just let them know and they will take care of it.
