Poor service….. I wanted to rent because I had a debit card that had to weed me out, running a credit check without my permission the had me jumping thru hoops for two days debit people are unwanted .
Terrific staff that had to deal with lack of vehicles.I had reserved more than a month in advanceand when I went to pick up, they did not have my car class in stock, nor any upgrades.Staff very accommodating, and cheerfully made things right5 stars for staff, 3 for the facility
This has been the worst rental experience ever. At first I thought it was all good and everything was going smooth ... I WAS WRONG! The agent is never in the office, she never returns calls & when she does it’s 2 minutes before they close! The agent seems overwhelmed and honestly careless. They charged my credit card over by $2000 and I had to go through my bank to get everything corrected and I’m still dealing with the investigation. Never again will I use Hertz & I would never recommend them to anyone.
Terrible staff. One was being trained and had no idea what was going on and the “manager” left him alone to help us. I had two small children and a baby with me and we were supposed to be driving to the beach for spring break. They wouldn’t let me use my debit card to rent the car for the deposit even though the car was ALREADY PAID FOR!!! Then when I tried to split the car between two credit cards they also refused me. I rented this car over a month ago and paid for it and they refused to work with me at all. The “manager” refused to let me call her supervisor as well and kept telling me tshe was the only person I could talk to. They were not even apologetic about anything and just kept repeating themselves “it’s policy” “it’s policy” “it’s policy”.
The rental company JUST at 9:30am gave us a courtesy call to tell us theyre out of cars. we made the booking over a week ago. I was supposed to be on the road by 10am. I am now having to pay double for another company. Offered no discount for future rental, no voucher, nothing to make it right. Weve been long time customers of this location and doubt we will return.
Great Service
The actual rental of the vehicle was seamless. Picking up the rental car was easy. However, I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to receive a receipt. It took several days of calling which then forced me to call corporate to receive my receipt.
The staff at this office were amazing! They were very accommodating, and friendly, making the whole renting experience enjoyable!

Have rented the car here many times. Staff are good, but they are too busy for any help.Taking off two stars, because they didnt have cars available even when i booked them online. Had to wait for 40 minutes and leave to other company to get a car.
Worst car rental. Never seen anything like this. I had reservation at 10:30 am, Hertz confirmed the previous day via phone. When I arrived, no car. Rep mentioned they will call me when their returns arrive. No call until 4 pm. When I called at 4 pm, they said car is ready and they are sending a lyft ride. No ride arrived until 5 pm. When I followed up, they said they are following up on lyft ride. Finally ride arrived at 5:40 pm, and I reached Hertz at 6:03. Lady inside said they are closed at 6 pm, and she cannot do anything. I have to arrange transport on my own and come back tomorrow.
I will never do business with this company again! It is a waste of time and money. I was desperately in need of a rental due to an auto accident and I was already going through a lot. I asked the manager specific questions about the rental and he could barely open up his mouth to answer my questions. As if I was speaking a different language. All he was concerned about was swiping my card and taking my money. The customer service I received was horrible and I am big on customer service. I am the customer and I should be treated as such. The questions I asked were simple and straight to the point, but the so-called manager at this location acted like I was bothering him or he was annoyed by my questions. In addition, the final quote towards the end was not what we discussed! Probably because he did a poor job explaining everything to me. I wish I could say more but Im not about to get out of my character, but If you go through Hertz just dont come to this location. Seriously, its not worth it. Customer service is bad! Go somewhere else for your business!
I made a reservation for 5:30 when I arrived the guy told me my reservation was for 4 and they gave away the car. I showed proof that my reservation was for 5:30 and He was rude and acted as though it’s my fault that they didn’t have any cars left. Didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. I’ve come here several times with no issues. I will not be back to this location.

Terrible experience from beginning to end.Made a reservation only to show up and be told that there was no car for me. Only available car had a spare tire on it. I had no choice but to take it. The car had much less than a full tank of gas, yet I was told I was wrong. I was charged for things I didnt authorize. When I called the location to get chages rectified, I was hung up on. When I called customer service, I was given a $10 credit as a show of good faith. The only word I have is unethical.
Staff is very rude, I have reservation for full size, and they gave me smoke car.. which is completely bad smell and cigar smell.. when I ask for replacement, staff is very rude and arguing like they dont have any other .. rather they say you can cancel your trip or reservation.. we have only this car, take it or not.. finally when u have full size reservation they gave me compact car.. staff is very rude, not at all responsible
Terrible customer service at this location we’ve rented from here twice only because the first time we assumed it was just that employee. We mentioned it and thought it would be better next time BUT not so!No greeting, no smile, no energy, no urgency, no accommodations for not having the requested vehicle..... just bad. Might try another location or just go to another car rental company
I will never rent from this location again. The customer service, or lack thereof from the staff here is absolutely awful. They are extremely unprofessional. Terrible. The car I rented wasnt even clean. Id give them no stars if I could.
My company forces me to use Hertz. That said I have had very positive experiences with the Alpharetta Windward location. I do not and will not do business with the Cumming location even though they are close to me, because of poor service and dont care employees.The Alpharetta Windward location though has always provided good service, good vehicles and the employees have been great to deal with. This is a powerhouse group doing a high volume business but operating from a shoe box size office space. I will continue to bring my rental car needs here.

Dear Hertz,I recently experienced a terrible ordeal with your Hertz rental car office at 5750 Windward parkway Alpharetta Ga. The treatment of your customer was horrific. I have a business and we rent cars all the time for clients. This car rental happened to be through State Farm. I know they do a lot of business with you and I am going to voice my experience with your company to everyone I know. I plan to write letters to your corporate office as well.The rudeness and total lack of respect your employee Kay had with me on 2/8 & 2/10 was unwarranted and show extreme lack of professionalism. The manager Anthony was unprofessional and disrespectful. I ended up going to Enterprise rental where I was treated as a valued customer. I proceeded to rent 2 cars and my experience with them was courteous and pleasant.I wonder if I will get a call back and if you really care for your customers experience with your company.
You all Double charged my account for a rental extension and I have other things I need to do with my money! You all totally inconveniencing me! Took extra money without asking me! I called customer care and they tell me they can’t see the charges and I have to contact the location! It’s 2018 and you all can’t see each other’s information you put in the system? This don’t make no sense at all!! You all need to upgrade your system ASAP! This is a shame!

If I could write a zero for this Hertz facility, I would. Its a one-man operation with long lines and inadequate and untrained help as it pertains to customer service. The agent on duty, Chancellor Hudson (Chance) is just what his name is... a chance for a good customer service experience. Basically clueless to what his corporate office tells their clients and what hes allowed to do. He moves like a sloth even during busy periods and cares nothing more than getting off at 6:00 p.m. than to take care of his customers. I wouldnt hire him to take out my trash!!! This will be the last time I would use Hertz Rent-a-Car for my travel needs!!!!
Me and my family were going on a trip and needed a truck so I make an appointment for the night before we left to to get the truck. Because I had the appointment they said they would have the truck so I go to pick it up and they say they don’t have one and tell me to come back tomorrow. So I make the appointment for next day at 7 am which was and hour after I was supposed to leave and again they do not have a car for me. What is the point of a reservation if you still don’t end up getting car TWICE? One of the workers was also very unprofessional and it was way to much drama for the morning of a trip.
Always such a quick and easy experience. I was able to walk in and be in my rental car and on my way in less than 10 min..
They don’t have any choice. 5 cars as max. It’s on the Marriot Hotel parking lot. Sad

I prepaid for a rental car, arrived on time and there was no car available, no call ahead of time or any advance notice. Of course I was offered something much smaller which would not have sufficed for our trip. Major inconvenience to us and no one from top to bottom and not one person with Hertz expressed any amount of apology to us they seemed to consider this part of their business model. And in keeping with their level of service it will be 10 days before I get the refund on my card, ie, this was an interest free loan to Hertz. I was offered no credits or additional compensation for the irritation and inconvenience I went through either.Hertz needs to get its act together especially when people book well ahead of time and prepay for a vehicle. This was a major inconvenience to us as we booked ahead of time AND prepaid just to make sure we had the vehicle we needed. Lesson learned, from now on we use Avis or Enterprise.I took the additional steps of cancelling my Gold membership and recommending to my business partners we end our business relationship with Hertz and go with Enterprise or Avis since Hertz cannot be bothered to care enough to do their jobs correctly nor do they care about customers.
Believe the reviews!!!! Make a reservation, check in online, call to check that ill have space to leave my personal vehicle ahead 1hr before pick-up....and they have no cars, no answers, and no assistance. Dont trust their corporate website for jack. Ive rented cars in Alpharetta for 11 yrs and this was the most ridiculous experience ive ever had.
To be honest I dont want to give even 1star. Being a gold member I have a worst experience with this particularl location twice. Very unprofessional service. I took rental here 3 times and always they close my contract with extra charges or late fees, which were not written in my contract. When tried talking to the location manager they keep calls on hold for more than half hour and are not helpful. I always had to call the customer service billing department and make my charges to normal.And the drop off option they have at the location is of no use, they still charge you with a extra day in addition of late fees.
Super slow, and they tried to make me pay for a car I did not reserve online. The manager have a nasty attitude, and I will never do business at this location again.

Rude staff, I have reservation for full size, and they gave me a old car which is not cleaned, full of mud and when I ask for replacement, staff is very rude as if they dont have any other..Even though of being a five star member, I felt that Hertz customer service is getting worse day by day despite of paying the extra price compared to the other rental agencies in the market.
I had my rental for a period of 33 days. I had LDW charge to be cancelled after period of 8 days but Hertz has charged for an the entire period of 33 days. I came in the shop at Alpharetta on the 8th to stop my LDW. One of the Hertzs staff from the location came out and checked my car to see everything was alright and had confirmed everything looks good. I was still charged for 33 days. When I asked them about it when I returned the car, they said I never came in to remove the charge. I would recommend not to rent cars at this location as they try cheat people and use peoples ignorance for their benefit.

The car I reserved was not available. The only other suv they had was not ready. Spent additional hour waiting until they released me in the next available suv and that one was filthy dirty. Being a pregnant mother with a one year old in my arms was a horrible experience. I would never want to plan my day with Hertz in it.
Ive rented twice from here and both times the service was absolutely HORRENDOUS from the woman that works here, and Im a GOLD member, so much for that. At first I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but the 2nd time was too much, so I do not rent from that location anymore.I had to wait 20 mins outside the door, because she wasnt there at 10am, and I asked her, Arent you guys open during business hours?, she replies, cant you read the sign on the door, it says ill be back.When I returned the car, i forgot to fill out the mileage since I was in a rush (my company gets unlimited mileage, so it didnt matter), and asked her if I can just drop it off with her, like I usually do with most other hertz locations, but she started arguing and I had walk back to the end of the lot and jot down the mileage and give it to her.This location is at the Hilton hotel, but that office feels like the ghetto, no thank you, no sorry - politeness or manners do not cost.

They dont have a proper estimation . Rates will vary an average of $50 - $70 stating that their Loss Damage Wvr and all, be careful while you book it, Read the document twice

Pathetic serviceI booked car online for $70 a day before ... I reached little late ... Service personal lady gave me smaller car and told me price would remain same ... I took the car and later realized she had charged me for additional services which she didnt even ask me or i asked her ... bill went up to $117
