I’ve owned my home for 9 months and had to call Staton twice. Hai Le came out both times, and he was WONDERFUL. As a first time homeowner, I had lots of questions, both times. He patiently answered my multiple questions and really made me feel valued. He showed me around the AC unit so I would know what he was working on. He explained how often things needed to be changed (like air filters) or checked, and I added those dates to my calendar so that I can stay on top of things. Today he worked in 120 degree heat in the attic to replace my circuit board, and all he would accept from me was one bottle of cold water. Hai Le is wonderful, and I will always want him to be my AC technician! Also, I have called around 4:30 on a Friday both times (bad timing on my part!), but both times, Mark, the owner, has called me back that evening, after hours, and scheduled an appointment for the next week. This is a great company that has wonderful customer service. I never *want* to call them, but I’m confident every time I need to that I will get exceptional, quick service.
I could not say more about how professional Mark and his team are. When you meet Mark, you will know that he takes his FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED company very serious. I have dealt with HVAC companies before but none have taken the time to truly answer all my questions the way that Mark has. His passion for his business is evident in every aspect of his work. I would have rated his company higher if there was an option to do so. He gets a 5 star + + from me and my family!

I received my annual fall service visit and my technician was Kenny James. He had previously done my service call in the spring. I was very pleased when I found out that he would be my technician again.Kenny provided excellent customer service as well as demonstrated his knowledge and skills for his trade. He took the time to answer my questions as well as make suggestions based upon his findings. He was attentive to my home needs. He observed that I did not have a ceiling saver water detection device on my unit. He explained the purpose and benefits of having the device. I received his suggestion, but I also had to question, why was this not suggested to be in the past.There is a difference between doing a job and doing a job with a level of excellence. The only reason that they even got a 3 star rating is because of Tim. Let me talk about Tim before I talk about the other person that Ive dealt with throughout this. Tim was great from the minute he walked into my house. I think he genuinely cares about doing a great job and genuinely wants customers to have a positive experience with the company.Now, lets talk about this other technician. I dont feel like I want to name names, but I feel like youll know who I am speaking on. After Tim came in and said there was probably a leak in my A/C system, your company sent a second person in that told me that there was nothing wrong with my system...he lied to me. He literally just vacuumed up the extra water and threw some coolant/freezant/whatever you wanna call it in my A/C and said it was fixed. Then, he proceeded to CON me (b/c thats what well call this) into signing up for another year with your company and NEVER fixed the issues so the SAME thing happened a few weeks later.Then, yall had the NERVE and AUDACITY to send that same man back to my house like I wasnt going to notice. All I will say is that it is UNPROFESSIONAL to tell a customer that I shouldve charged you for the new filter, but didnt when YOU didnt fix the original issue AND there was a BRAND NEW filter already in there. If the filter is damaged, its because YOU didnt fix the original issue and put a bandaid on it. On top of the that, he claimed the filter was damaged from the freeze on the system....the system has frozen over a couple times now b/c you didnt fix it like you were supposed to, but why is the air filter a problem now haha? I understand that Im a woman of color...but Im not an idiot. On top of that, YOUR company cancelled the rest of Tims jobs for the day for keeping it real with me as a customer and it has me looking sideways at the way you do business and pretty much guarantees that Im leaving once the warranty is up. Why are you punishing someone whos doing right by your customers? Because now it seems like you dont do right by your customers OR your employees.Shoutout to Tim for having my back....Id keep Tim and ax the other dude tbh. Id do business with Tim any day of the week. If not for Tim....I wouldve never known about the REAL issues with my system. Tims advice made it to where I MADE SURE my system got fixed the way it shouldve been fixed before he came back to my house. He made sure that I understood what was going on as well as the options and steps that would need to be taken to fix it...Tim is the real MVP.EDIT: After this review, Staton contacted us and made sure that the system was fixed and functioning the way that it shouldve been fixed the first time. I appreciate the effort and the due diligence in getting it fixed even though it took a 3 star review to get it together. I understand that this is a small business, but this definitely couldve all been handled in a better manner than how it was originally handled.

Staton Heat and Air is very credible. Sign up for their biannual heat and air check up....very reasonable cost. My thermostat quit working. When I called, they gave me a window of time and the repair man was right on time, repaired my thermostat and it is now working with a guarantee. I was also offered a service visit cost which was much less than the cost of visit and repair. Who does that these days...they save me $$$. I called other heat, air and electrical companies and their cost was astronomical for the same job. Call Staton, you will be a happy homeowner.

The repair person came out last year, only fixed part of the problem, and when he returned again this year to fix the same system again. Then as the system needed more R22 refrigerant, he indicating that this was not sold any longer and I should buy a new AC unit. I purchased the refrigerant on eBay (tones available), and then they refused to recharge my unit with the R22 I had purchased. No help, lies trying to get me to spend more money than was needed... and Ive lost respect. I certainly dont need service people like this.

He was respectful of our home, described in detail what he was doing and even gave us some tips that we werent aware of (like which vents circumvent back into the home, so keep candles away from those). Gabe (my technician) was very nice and knowledgeable. Before entering my house, he slipped on some disposable booties and then immediately went to work on my service call. My thermostat tablet was replaced at no charge to me because I bought the Complete Care Plus Service Package when my unit was installed.

The Staton team was great! As most occur, I had an unexpected failure of my 19+ year old furnace. They were quickly out and had a new furnace ready to install the next business day. Furnace replacement aint cheap but these guys came in and spent a cold day in my attic and on the roof enlarging the ventilation pipe, took care in covering carpet underneath the attic stairs and put on booties when coming in and out, ... I was comfortable enough to just remain downstairs working as they did their thing. I actually went to the office and found the internal team to be just as kind and pleasant as those at the house... Highly recommend calling them when your unexpected event occurs.
Staton is the best air-conditioning company we have found here in Georgia. We have been with them for 12 years. The service is impeccable. A young man named Todd one of their workers came and fixed our unit. He was courteous polite and very knowledgeable about our Lenox unit. The lady in the office by the name of Gail was absolutely wonderful.

We moved into a brand NEW Town home in The Ridge Mill subdivision, Acworth, GA in January of 2015. The builder used Staton heating and Air for their new home installations. I noticed that as the new homes went up and were sold that only months later, Staton was out here again and again troubleshooting these recently installed units. WHAT does THAT tell you? Inexperienced installers? Shabby equipment? Fast forward to July 2018. Today, our AC unit quits working. Ive got a 3 and 1/2 year old unit and it quits working? Are you kidding me? I called Staton and they tell me that they no longer service my area UNLESS it was still under warranty. I would run for the hills instead of using this shabby outfit.

Both times it was a different part that went out, on a brand they do not sell, and both times they were there very quick and got us warm again. Staton installed our AC unit, as they did for everyone else in our neighborhood, and our AC went out over the weekend. I left a note online and called their on call tech and never received word back from them. I dont know whats the point of having online contact for scheduling and an after hours tech if you havent heard from either method 24 hours later. Dont worry Staton, I went with my old HVAC company who actually called me back within a minute of leaving a voicemail.Edit: You say you dont service my area? Funny, it says on your website you do. I wasnt looking for a builders warranty repair, I was look for someone to at least acknowledge my call and come out for a repair service, but I was flat out ignored.As for the online contact, I was originally fine with waiting until Monday to get contacted for service, but it ended up being too much so I called in instead. Which was a terrible call because I never had anyone call me back. It seems like you just decided since I wasnt in your area any longer since you pocketed the money the builder gave you to install the system and then ignore users when they call you because your name and number is listed on my thermostat, that I wasnt important enough to simply call back and let me know that.

I contacted Staton to come and check my AC unit as my upstairs wasnt cooling properly. After the initial service call, it was determined that I had a leak and needed to replace my unit. We replaced, and several days later noticed that it was still just as hot as before. Another site visit determined that the new unit was bad. Fast forward to a few more hiccups that we came across, a few more visits from Brandon and they finally found the second part of our issue. Staton went above and beyond to correct the problems that were found, often times able to come out the very next day. Brandon, Mark and the team at Staton went above and beyond to resolve all that we came across during what we initially thought would be a simple AC unit replacement. I will definitely use them for any future needs, and would recommend them to anyone!
