They Discriminate and Lie, Worst Agency i ever came in contact with . I Worked for them for 4 Months and got laid off because peak season ended and things got slow but now that i call them back theyre trying to say i was laid off cause of attendance. Lord knows i wish i wouldve recorded all the times they called me, just for visual and audible proof. They Also Cant show me what days i missed or how many cause i never called off . its just a valid reason to not hire me again, cause they cant admit to discriminating against people cause they know its against the law . . . well played .

I have taken my resume to them also emailed my resume as required for months and nothing. This company puts job posting up which I am well qualified for, I have NEVER! received one phone call from them in any response to there postings. The young girl at the receptionist desk takes your info and still nothing! Allied you should really stop posting jobs if you know they are not available.

Got hired as temp... told that I was most likely going to be able to stay, got laid off after 2 1/2 weeks and they still haven’t contacted me about any jobs even though I see they have new ones posted .. also they take SO much out of your check, the pay sucks..they really wasted my time... I was better off going to another agency!

I have been working Allied for 12+ years and they are a great organization. In all this time I have never had a bad experience. The assignments are permanent, long, short term or day to day – depending what your needs are. The pay was also great – way above the “minimum” you would receive from other temporary services. I would highly recommend giving them a call if you are looking for any type of work!

I went to Allied after trying to seek employment on my own going through Career Link, Indeed..etc...I few very discouraged because it felt like my resume was never viewed, I wasn’t hearing back from anyone, I really felt hopeless. I decided to try out Allied, I didn’t know what they were capable of but I figured it was worth a try. I went in for an interview and provided all my information and resume to Connie in Easton. She asked me several questions so she could determine what I enjoyed doing and what type of pay I was looking for. Connie is AMAZING, she worked hard to find me the perfect job! She was so kind and I appreciate EVERYTHING she did for me. She found me the perfect job and I am extremely happy and no longer stressed. She went above and beyond my expectations and I truly felt special. If you are having trouble finding a job, I could not recommend them any more. They are the best!

My experience with Allied was a dream. I had heard all sorts of horror stories from people who had had very bad experiences with hiring/temp agencies and as such was very apprehensive about signing up with one. This company posted a fake IT/Help Desk position on Zip Recruiter. When they called inquiring about a position, the job offer went from the IT field to manufacturing. I stated to the recruiter that I wanted an IT position and he had stated that they dont get too many inquiries in that field. This company is unethical in their job postings to get people into their manufacturing jobs. Dont waste your time with this unethical company because they dont care about what you want. They just want to keep their manufacturing contracts and will find anyone they can to fill positions.

Very pleased with Allied Personnel. Applied for a position through them on indeed. Called in for an interview with Allied, two days later had an interview with the company and was offered the temp to hire position! Ive worked with other employment agencies, and either they have bait and switched me on the position (meaning I responded to their ad but when I got there, that job was no longer available) or in one case, I never heard back from them. (Then 1 year later, they had the nerve to email me about a position - uh, no thanks). But Allied didnt do either one of those things to me. Would highly recommend Allied!

Went in more than two months ago to hopefully get a job, spoke with a recruiter and said all the jobs I had applied for werent available. Weeks go by and havent heard a thing, so I call. Theyll pass my info to a recruiter, same spiel different day. Waited for another two weeks before calling again. Again, was told my info would be sent to a recruiter. So I called Easton. The same girl who works at Allentown happened to be at Easton and said she would pass my info along (apparently she knew who I was because she had all my info in front of her??). It is now another week or so later and havent heard a single thing from ANY recruiter. Jobs ARE available and more being added on the daily and yet I havent gotten a call. It was such a waste of time and hassle to get out to their building, fill everything out and then be forgotten about. I dont see how these people are ranked so highly. Its been a horrible experience from beginning to now.

I suspect they do not hire black people. My white friend got a job with them and he told me they need more people. I called Allied, they told me that they have nothing and would call me when they do. They have many openings but have not offered me one for any shift. This treatment has been going on for a while. I would give them no stars if I could !

I am so thankful that I found this Agency. I remember being at home looking for jobs after moving from another state and was applying through indeed. Saw the job position that I wanted and I was through Allied. They called me the next day to schedule an interview with me and I went with a couple of jobs I found on the internet through their agency so they helped me arrange an interview for one of them in less than a week. The company wanted me to start right away so I did and I recently got hired through them after completing the hours required through Allied.I’ve worked with other agencies before and so far I feel like Allied worries about their employees and help you get what you want. They helped me find my happy place and I am really happy where I am now.They’re always on time with their payroll and they check on you once a week to make sure that everything is okay.Never had a problem with them and I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Allied when looking for a job; they will help you find what’s suitable for you.Thank you Allied :) !

Allied Personnel did a great job finding me a temporary position quickly. After my interview, it only took a few weeks for them to find work for me. One job was temporary and when I was nearing the end of my term, Allied had already set me up with an interview for another assignment. There was no gap in employment. After about six months of my second temporary position I was offered a full time position. Lisa, my contact at Allied, was very helpful. She always kept in touch to find out how my jobs were going and made sure I felt that the positions they set me up with were a good fit.

Shocked to see so many 1 star reviews but after reading them its very obvious that many people dont understand temp services. I was given a six month temp to hire position over 11 years ago. The company they placed me in bought me out after two months and I have been there ever since. It took about two weeks from my initial application to my first day at the company which included testing, an interview with Allied, and an interview with the company. Compensation was very fair during my temp time. Would recommend to anyone.

I have experience in the Business field as an Administrative Assistant. Most of the jobs I found on my own and applied for took a good amount of my time and effort. In this day and age, it is very hard to find a job....period. I can appreciate the hard work this group of girls have done to help me. I have past experiences working for other agencies and I can tell you this group has a professional approach to the clients needs. At the present, Im working in a position I wouldnt have found on my own. It is a great fit for me. We have developed a great relationship and I owe it all to Allied! Thank you! Like a few others have stated if you are of color, you most likely will not be receiving a call back from this agency. However, there are many other agencies that will help you find work for better pay. I would only recommend this place as a very last resort, because unfortunately you will be wasting your time.

I cant stress enough how helpful the staff are and how grateful I am to have been placed where I was. I feel that Ive finally found a career that suits me. Allieds informational sheet looks great when comparing costs, but in reality very few Lehigh Valley practices -- sometimes none, depending on the specialty -- are in the Essential StaffCare network.If you have preferred healthcare professionals or are planning specialty visits/procedures, do your homework first: see if physicians accept First Health and dentists accept DenteMax. DO NOT TRUST THE PROVIDER WEBSITE(S) because they were flat out wrong in my case and a list of allegedly in-network offices never even heard of First Health or Essential StaffCare.For Essential StaffCare services, Allied charges a percentage of your paycheck as a premium -- ask for the exact number and compare to Healthcare.gov Marketplace premiums. Why a Lehigh Valley-based temp agency would use a healthcare provider that barely contracts with the best Lehigh Valley doctors is a mystery and the only reason this review is not 5/5.TLDR; Allied Personnel Services is a great company. Essential StaffCare is hot garbage.

My experience here was terrible. First they had mentioned that they had a position available and had asked me to come in and speak with Janell. The front desk was courtious and generous by far there were no complaints there however, when it came time to meet with janell I did not expect to be treated the way I did. She went through my whole resume and asked me questions and some just simply did not make sense and in the end she just cut me off and said the position I was there for closed the day before?! Like really?! This matter could have been discussed over the phone she could have been a little respectful and called me back to say such a thing instead of having me come there and hear it. She started to blame me that I missed my appointment and she thought I wasn’t interested and all but in reality I actually rescheduled my appointment the very same day and mentioned a quite a few times in the process that I was ill. And, for your kind information your job posting for the position is still on google so if the job you said is really closed then take it down from there as well instead of just closing it on zip. This agency is so caught up on texting you and calling you for an appointment for their purposes but when it comes to matters such as this they are simply horrible. I had to waste my whole day because of her and in the end I was not satisfied at all! And yes, I agree with the whole thing about race/ diversity that other reviewers are stating here after the way she treated me. Simply horrible!

I filled out their paperwork, included excellent personnel reviews, college degrees, and references. Yet, as of today (8 months later) I have received no response. Why? They want to pay 7 dollars per hour to any person who uses their firm, and I certainly warrant far more than that pittance.

Its a temp agency. Dont expect too much from them. Treat just as that, temporary. During my time working through them it wasnt all that bad. I had little contact with them as I worked a lot for the company I was at which was good. The only reason I gave 1 star is because of 2 major mistakes by a company that claims to be professional. 1st, sometime after about a year of working there I received a letter from them in the mail. Inside was a check and a note saying that my unemployment tax was over calculated and they were taking too much. The total reflected about $80 a month over a year to break it down. $80 could be very significant to someone. 2nd, so when the whole ObamaCare thing went down they now had to offer health insurance to their employees that met the federal guidelines. They never contacted me until on a Friday, they called the company I was working at and over the phone told me by the end of the day I had to either choose a plan or sign off to not have insurance. It was lunch time which gave me 3 hours at work to shop, compare, get quotes and decide what to do with my health insurance. 3 hour notice!?!These are 2 highly critical errors that were made. Literally goofed my paychecks for a year and then give me 3 hours, mind you during those 3 hours I am getting paid to work but instead the company was nice enough to let me shop for insurance to figure out what to do, 3 hours to decide on health insurance for the next year.Besides that, it was what I expected from a temporary agency. Go in, interview, find a job and move on.

Worked for this agency for 6 months and than randomly was let go from assignment right at Christmas. I never missed a day of work! I left a permanent job since allied offered me an office job that worked with my degree. I was unsure about taking the offer but they assured me that if I go to work everyday and put forth an effort Id have no problem getting hired with the company they were placing me with within a few months. 6 months later I now am unemployed after putting forth the effort and never missing anything and working overtime as much as possible. Shady!!!!

I put this on everything i love before i gave them a real chase to waste my time one of the 2 receptionist called/texted me at 5pm and left a message about coming in and applying they have current open positions i checked my phone/voicemail a hour later and then texted back about the position mistakenly not knowing what time it is... Come to find out she called me from a google voice online outgoing only number to come in the office at 8pm stating that she is still there and can complete the paperwork mind you my girlfriend was right beside me the whole time informing me that this is beyond weird the google voice is untraceable being its outbond call only but i can and will post the messages with the time on each message after the petty response from the owner fyi we are still laughing about this very strange agency. like i said im going to post the proof im logging inand i will post the pictures once i get them i cant make this up idot! What are you going to do when you have physical proof ?

I was recently laid off from job that allied helped provide to me. I was told that they would help me get back into the work force so I was not to worried, it has been months and many attempts to contact a recruiter later and still no job. I have called and gone into speak to someone and both times told that i wouldnt need to contact them and that they would get back to me when they had an opportunity that for me. I have even asked to just wait in line to speak to someone and was shown the door. This is very disheartening since the first times I went in they found me many opportunities and was shown jobs that were available right away. They have many open positions available on their website but no time to speak to people who actually want to work. Very disappointing.

So I went to place several weeks ago since I need help looking for a job. They say they can help but Im still waiting to hear from these people. Dont get your hopes up for any help here. Do they just put your info on the back burner? Like seriously... You help some people but not everyone?! If I could, Id rate this place a zero!!

I been to this place 2x once alone and once with my fiance, dont even waste your time if you dont have a great resume and be prepared to be offered low paying jobs and if you are of color hispanic,African American dont expect a call back at all.

Dont bother. They called me last minute about job.Was told job would be faxing, filing, etc. Was given a sheet with name of company, person to report to, etc. Well first off person I was to report to was NOT even there guess she forgot I was starting that day or whatever. Was told by Allied that job would be filing, faxing, etc. Get to job and find out it is a call center and was told to learn all these safety files and that I was going to be TESTED on them end of the week. WTH? This was supposed to be a one month four hr a day assignment. Someone was NOT being honest. Either the company lied to Allied or Allied lied to me. What a joke this company is and seems I am not the only one who is not happy with them.

Its all about their needs . i worked many years without no sick time, vacation ect . and not pay you for holidays. they will not give notice to when your assignment ends and just let you go. They will complain when you call out sick . my advice get a job direct and dont work for them.they make money off of you and pay you low .

I have signed up with allied for the third time. I sign up with multiple agengies to present as many options and opportunities me as possible.Allied has a high volume of applicants and most seem to leave the office disapointed. Allied have yet, in 18 months called me. I always reach out to them. Agencies such as Aerotek and Berks and Beyond at least reach out via recruiters. Allied buffers calls from there front desk. And do not give you an opportunity to speak with recruiters even if your qualifications and acolades have recently changed or have been updated on your resume.In conclusion my impression is that they do not want to give you the time of day. Yet on there website multiple positions are offered in my field and stay open UNFILLED for weeks.I will let you draw your own conclusions from that.

Allied sucks and they are liars told me a different hourly pay then what it really was told me I didnt like the warehouse and then said that I wanted something good administrative and told me sorry but we can no longer ermal ell you since you didnt return to work their service sucks...

Dont go there. There are jobs you know you qualify for yet they dont call you for any even though you see the same ones listed week after week
