I tried to the use the company for almost 7 months. Unfortunately they are not responsive to email, text, or phone call. I tried to discuss my issues and resolve them; however, there was not response and I have had to cancel and move on. I hope they get this fixed, they seemed like nice people.
They did an excellent job with my hedges today and have been using them for 6 months. Their communication could be better but overall I am impressed.
Stay away. Mark does not reply to emails or texts and his voicemail box is full. My lawn has looked considerably worse since he started taking care of it. The grass is thinning out in places and my lawn is being taken over by weeds and clover. I have emailed him repeatedly regarding this and I got one reply saying he would look at it. Nothing since. So I tried contacting him repeatedly to cancel services via email and text. No reply and he came and mowed the lawn after I told him that I paid for June services and no longer required any more. I informed him I hired another company. But still no reply. He came and mowed in July. I cannot contact him via phone because he doesn’t pick up and the voicemail box is full. Red flags all over the place! Do yourself a favor and skip over this company.
Said they would come to mow my lawn on a certain day and they never came. As others stated, go with another company. FYI: They also go by MLC TEX.
Do not use this company. Just like the other reviews, this company does not communicate well at all. They scalp the lawn to almost the dirt level which will burn the grass in hot weather. When they trimmed the bushes out front, they skipped two, so now my front looks half a** done. They do not CARE for your lawn, they just cut it in 4 minutes and dash away. They broke my landscaping boarder by running over it every week. They have not responded to my request for repair. Id give zero stars if I could.
This is the 3rd summer using MLC SERVICES and my overall rating for them has dropped a star each year. We’ll be cancelling their service at the end of the season. Communication between the owner and front line workers must not exist. It has become increasingly difficult to get in contact with the owner when problems arise and we are tired of our account being automatically tapped for services not provided, especially during the winter months. The actual mowing/trimming has been average, at best, but very inconsistent, even during periods when they cannot use rain as an excuse. The business is simply POORLY MANAGED!
Customer service and communication is horrible and the quality of work is serviceable, at best; the crew has never bagged the grass after being asked to repeatedly. Prices have been raised reasoning that bushes will be trimmed and flower beds weeded in between cuttings; I have yet to receive any of these new duties. After admitting the failure, the owner of the company has continued to push off discussions to remedy the situation and is now ignoring/avoiding phone calls.I strongly suggest staying away from this company and finding a different service.I have given this service 1 star because the site wont allow me to give zero.
They have Not been able to get their billing correct since we started. The guys who do the yard are good and very efficient. But they broke our fence and have Not fixed it yet. I am getting invoices from the company with delinquency rates yet, Every invoice has been paid, including a service charge that wasnt done. And He Doesnt Answer Email questions from clients. 2 stars because of the workers, who came here on Easter Sunday... not per our request ~ they didnt come out on their scheduled day ( Saturday) we really felt bad ~ they should have been with their families.
I have been using this company for a couple of years. This year they didnt come on the scheduled day (came a day early repeatedly when gate is locked), wont return multiple emails regarding not mowing backyard and a phone call! This week they didnt even show up!
Communication is horrible. Mowers arrived on a different day, we have a dog and we didn’t make arrangements to secure our dog before we left for work. The mowers never returned to mow the backyard.
I have used several lawn companies I was unhappy with their inconsistent mowing schedules. MLC services shows up every week and they do a great job for reasonable pricing. I finally found a company to stick with!
Horrible experience with this company. The Christmas lights they installed wasn’t what I requested then Mark went ahead to blame me and talked about how perfect he has been in business since 1982 and never ever had any problems with his customers. He Never gave me a quote slip to review before installing, only to tell me after installation that we never discussed it. Services sucks! Wouldn’t recommend!So the owner went ahead to post a reply to my initial review, run people, another lie from Mark. I specifically gave Mark a picture of what I wanted installed. He gave me a quote for it, I negotiated to get a discount which he gave me one. Then came installation day and his guys didn’t install everything in the picture. Only for Mark to start saying “gap in communication”. If you decide to go with his services, make sure everything agreed on is also documented on paper!
If you value your property and your peace of mind,“DO NOT” use Meticulous Lawn Care.(You have to put at least one star to post but they deserve 0!). Very sad and terrible experience with them!
Should have known it would only go south when I had to call multiple times just to get him to schedule an estimate. after coming out he said hed give estimate in 4 days. Been 3 weeks. During the first week I texted a few times and called once with no reply. Dont know how you run a business like this but dont appreciate my time being wasted. Guess Im thankful I didnt sign up with you because who knows if my landscaping would ever be completed if I had.
They are horrible at communication. Once you sign up with them, it’s impossible to get in touch via email or phone if you have an issue. I called and left voicemails multiple times across multiple weeks and did the same with email. That was to ADD services.
I was screwed by these guys. I paid Mark to install and remove my Christmas lights. They did the installation and then stopped taking my calls when it was time for removal. Dont trust these guys.
