Whoever was up front on on 7/16 was very unhelpful. I called and made my appointment, and was not informed of any late policy, which should be done every time you make an appointment right?? But when i arrived before my appointment time, there were no spots open in the parking lot. But because i was 10 minutes late i was denied my appointment. She didnt even bother to ask me to reschedule my appointment. After being a customer there for years i am very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks, not!

I generally used to have a somewhat decent experience at this location, but once they started hiring younger people the quality and professionalism has gone down. I would get the brazilian wax and didn’t have a problem until I had what seemed to be a teenager doing it, resulted in many ingrown hairs. Very upset about that..

Showed up for a nose wax. Went to the door where I was greeted and told that they’re no longer offering waxes “under the mask” at this location. I can understand that. You guys need to add a note to your site or block out specific waxing areas. I made this appointment last minute so there wasn’t a chance for the employees to call me. Update your website so customers don’t waste their time.

Poor management! I was gifted a wax pass on December 10th. Shortly after I went and got my eyebrows waxed at the Allen location (this was during the time that their system was down for a month). I got my eyebrows waxed, showed proof of purchase for the wax package, left a tip, and went home. A week later I started getting calls saying I owed money for the waxing. I explained the situation and they said they’d leave a note and resolve it once their system was back up. Weeks went by and I still would receive the calls and explain the situation again. Last week, I tried to schedule an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed again using my wax package. I was unable to schedule because I owed money on my account. I called the store, explained the situation again and the girl I talked to said she would have her manager call me when she came in at 12. 12 comes around and manager never called me. So the next day, I called again and said that I was waiting for a manager to call me back. I was told that the company policy is that it takes up to 72 hours for someone to call you back because they have so many people to call back. I explained my frustration again and the girl said she would leave a note. 72 hours passed and I still never received a call from the manager. I called again and spoke to someone and they said they’d leave a note for the manager to call me back. Since it has been over a month since I got my eyebrows done, I ended up going to the Flower Mound European wax and they fixed the problem within minutes!!!! At this point I am SO frustrated and will not be taking my business to the Allen location ever again. I will be driving to any location other than the ones owned by this owner. It has been 144 hours since I was told a manager would call me and I highly doubt I’ll ever get a call from the Allen store manager. I do not recommend!Edit: I have been going to European wax for years and have never had an issue until I attended the Allen location.

Morgan took really good care of me. Shes very thorough with everything, takes her time, and she makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed the entire time! Always leave satisfied when Im there !Her personality is amazing also and so she is very helpful with the tips she provide to keep your skin healthy! Im so glad I met her !Every experience has always been positive and smooth!

I started going to European Wax Center cuz a friend suggested it. But I go to this one because of Stacy. I used to go to whichever one was closer at the time they all did a good job but Stacy is the bomb! She does a good job, shes quick while doing it which Im very thankful for. Plus she is very entertaining and friendly and thats a great distraction as opposed to whats happening LOL.

Anna was completely professional and personable at the same time. The wax there is practically painless and I had quite a bit of hair to remove. Of all the waxing Ive had done over the years this tops the list. Thank you guys for getting me all ready for my vacation!!

Brittany did my daughters eyebrows today and was SO knowledgeable. She pointed out all the asymmetry and explained to her how she could correct it for her with a few visits and not plucking. I know she is in great hands. Always used EWC but now its Brittany and no one else!

The Wax Center in Allen is truly amazing! Ive had waxing services done many many other times and in different Spa Salons and have never experienced what I did here. The product used was nothing Ive seen before making this place my #1 ever! The staff was incredibly sweet and very professional making you feel very welcome and at ease. I will most definitely recommend this place 100 times over! As a matter of fact, I am due to go in and will expect nothing less than the best. Love ya guys!

The computer crashes alot which is annoying for payments and scheduling, but the people are great, and booking is easy. You can also get appointments usually pretty quickly.

I love this place. I was recommended by a friend and I got my first eyebrow free. Not to mention got a comment card to fill out and will receive $5 off my next visit. And I got recommendation cards to hand out to my friends for free waxes. European Wax Center is a very good place to go. Ive been getting my eyebrows waxed for years and never realized that where I was going was all wrong for my skin. The staff is very professional and my appointment time was honored. I did not have to wait and the lady that did my waxing was very informative of what she was doing and had suggestions on things I could do. I am never going anywhere else again for waxing. I went here on Monday March 11, 2013 to get my first ever underarm wax. I must say the place was clean and the receptionist was really nice. Also, the waxer was really informative and it didnt hurt at all. Clean, relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone for all your waxing needs. Ive already booked my next appointment for an eyebrow wax.

It was my first time getting waxed and I had an appointment with Molli. She is definitely really good and shes fast! As soon as you arrive she makes you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend Molli! She also did a great job!

I wash greeted by a charming young lady. My wait time was very short. technician was friendly and very efficient. I have had other waxes done at other salons. The ladies here are so sweet. When my regular gal left, they called to make sure I was okay with being scheduled with another person. They didnt want me to be uncomfortable with a stranger. I always thought that I wouldnt like to actually get waxed, I thought that it would be an awful experience. When I started going, the young lady by the name of Brittany was the person that waxed me. I really enjoyed it,It felt better then getting my eye brows waxed at the nail salon, I signed up for the package deal and I have been going ever since. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone. Went there for first wax ever-had been warned by so many well-meaning friends that it would be extremely painful and really should consider other options. The technician was extremely friendly, but professional and made me feel at ease immediately. Virtually no pain...a little tweak now and then, but no real pain. Ill definitely be back! I have since sent my 2 daughters and other friends and would recommend to anyone.

Being new to the area, I was fearful to try a new place for waxing as weve all had traumatic experiences. I decided that the European Wax Center would be my safest bet. I was not disappointed. They were friendly, professional, very clean, and I probably got the best eyebrow shaping Ive ever had. I love the wax they use. I have sensitive skin and usually have irritations after a wax. I was not even red. I dont think that I will ever be able to go anywhere else. Brittany was awesome and made me feel so comfortable.

They missed several spots on my back and ears. They also broke several hairs off so they got ingrown and done were visible again within days. They herd you through like cattle and always remind you that they charge if you’re late. So my wife and I switched to waxing the city and it’s so much better! Steer clear of his place if you have high expectations.

I have been going to this center for several months now and have had 4 different employees take care of my different waxing needs. I have nothing but good things to say about all of them. They all made me feel very comfortable and were very easy to talk to. This last time I saw Brittani who did my eyebrows. She was just wonderful! She also gave me tips on how to fill them in since mine are very light. I will certainly be returning on a regular basis for all my waxing.

I had previously been going to the European Wax Center in Arlington and always had a great experience there. Unfortunately, I had to move and today was my second time to visit the one in Allen.My first visit was good except I was in there for over 20 minutes. In Arlington, my technician had me in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. Today, I had another appointment at 5pm. When I arrived at 4:45 the girl at the front desk told me there was a 4:45 appointment in front of me so I would get in my appointment soon. While Im waiting, another girl walks in and within minutes is called in. I had thought that she was just another person who arrived early for a different technician.I had planned my appointment accordingly because I live an hour away and had somewhere else I needed to be. Well, its 10 minutes after the scheduled time and the girl at the front desk said she had already paged the technician twice. I made a decision to just go ahead and leave. As Im leaving, the girl that went in before me walks out and thats when I realized she was the 4:45!Why the hell didnt they just go ahead and put me in since she arrived late? I thought they were strict on their appointment schedules. Apparently not here.I really dont want to go back to this location but I dont have much of a choice right now. However, if something like this happens again, I will definitely not be returning.

Men-I was not happy at first when my wife suggested I go in for a nose wax, but now I can breath! Dont get me wrong my hairs were not clogging my breathing capability, but I did notice a difference. For those of us that clipped those wild hairs this is the answer! No pain at all & FAST! I am now signing up for a back wax, great service and excellent customer service.

I love the European Wax Center in Allen. I have been going there for a few months now and have used several different estheticians. Each of them have been friendly and professional. My schedule is crazy and I a lot of times I have to reschedule my appointments. The front desk staff is always accommodating and makes changing my appointments easy. I would definitely recommend (and have) to any of my friends who are looking to get rid of their body hair. :-)

I went to get my free eyebrow wax and got my lip waxed as well and had a GREAT experience for my first time going. Brittany is who I go to and she has been wonderful. The atmosphere is great and the people are very nice. I would recommend everyone I know to go here.

Very friendly staff. Appointment booking is easy and flexible. The waxers are very informative about the entire process and they never double dip waxing sticks to keep a sterile environment. The wax is fabulous; I typically break out with other waxes, but not theirs. I will never go anywhere else to get waxed, and I will be referring my friends.

So I must start with I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Morgan. She is the ONLY reason I have stayed with EWC. Her customer service, customer care & empathy is REMARKABLE. She & Arielle are TRULY the face and the glue to this location since Molly left which was really really really sad. The turnover is really bad. I can’t figure out how they’ve kept the couple they have because the OWNERS & ESPECIALLY the regional manager NICOLE are HORRENDOUS. She schedules herself to be at the store and then isn’t EVER there. The CALL CENTER is a joke because no one answers the phone and it’s sad to have to come to the store to make the appointments. I’ve made attempts to contact corporate as well because this location needs to appreciate their employees MORE & respect the customers. I used to refer people all the time at my job and friends but don’t anymore.I hope to one day talk to someone that really cares about this location. I love my job but often want to apply to EWC for a management position to just help & show them how to treat BOTH employees & customers!!! After being a loyal customer of the EWC BRAND for 6+ years I’m not sure that I will renew my annual passes next year if some changes aren’t made SOON!!! I hope someone really reviews these and will care!!! It’s sad that the employees are stuck with owners & managers that don’t care.

My experiences getting the underarm wax and the Brazillian bikini wax were amazing. European Wax Center has one more lifetime customer here. The staff is very professional and they make the experience comfortable. They know what they are doing. Also, I have been waxing for 16 years now and by far they use the best wax product.

Great staff. Clean atmosphere. If you havee an appointment they will call 24-20 hours before to remind you. Be on time because they are strick on late comers. (You will need to reschedule if you are over 5-10 minutes late.) They have great options and prices.

Great promotion, I was able to save $40 for my waxing packages (I’m so proud lol). Customer service is outstanding. The location is not the same in google map but if you search for the restaurant right next to it, Bar Louie, it should be very obvious. I went here to get my first brazilian wax & I was terrified! But the girl at the counter (Kayla) was incredibly nice and explained the waxing process to me and gave me a ton of information to make me feel at ease.Cate did my wax. I was so nervous with her at first but she was very professional. She explained everything to me and made me feel at ease!Overall, this place is amazing and I recommend it to all my girlfriends!

People kept telling me that I needed to go to European Wax and no where else to get my eyebrows waxed. Not only did I get a free wax upon my first visit, they did an amazing job and they were super nice the whole time. I will definitely continue to give them all of my business.

The only reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because you are still having hair ripped from your skin and what is there to love about that? But, the wax they use here makes the process very efficient with relatively low amounts of pain. Dont get me wrong, it is still slightly painful, but not near as painful as other methods of waxing I have endured previously.I will be recommending this location to my friends.

I, too, went because of the free wax pass and hearing that it was less painful than other waxing venues. They were right! It is much less painful and it feels upbeat, clean, and modern. I love it! I tried out most of the waxers by using a different one each time at first. My favorite waxer is Brittani, she is great! I get compliments on my eyebrows when she does them!!The receptionist is always so nice and fun to talk to while you wait. DEFINITELY recommend this place.Plus, its much less expensive than many places

I absolutely love this place, very friendly staff. I had my first experience with waxings here a few months ago and it makes life so much easier not having to wake up and shave every other morning. Being a working, single mother my time is very valuable and getting waxed saves me so much time in the morning. Its not painful at all, maybe a little sting but well worth it! Scabs on my brows after visit! The area is wiped clean during visit and given time the injury is undeniably clearly observable as scabs! Both sides of the brow area features a scab. Impossible to detect until after appointment! Praying that a visible life scar is not the result of this brow wax...

She is quick and thorough and can answer any and all questions you have about waxing and waxing skin care. The front desk staff is always courteous and professional also. If you have any fears about waxing, you wont have them any more if you go to EWC of Allen.

Horrible. Ive attempted to come here three times. By apt. Each time I come in the lady at the register is helping another customer for a wayyy longer than needed time. after 20 minutes of waiting for the customer to be checked out. The lady at the counter told me I was late and she couldnt get me in. I was on time....I was in the building on my apt time. The only reason I was late is because the lady at the counter would not stop talking to her customer. Im very pissed off. Will never try going here again. Linda is the girl at the counter. And the time before that I went in when I had an apointment. And she told me that all of the waxers were on a lunch break. Seriously? What kind of company is this.

I went to the Allen location for a face wax. I have had many fax waxs, chin, lip, and brow waxing at many good spas with good results. Most of the time this type of waxing takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete.When the tech took me back to the private waxing room, the first thing I noticed was the lighting was poor and there was not any magnify glass lighting to check her work up close.. I told the tech that I did not want my eyebrow shape changed and that I only wanted the very fine blond fuzzy hair around my eyebrows removed. She began spreading the wax in very large strips around my face and began pulling them off. It was painful and always is but, most wax salons have a nice cooling product to apply afterwards to help cool the pain.The lotion she applied did absolutely nothing.Only 5 minutes after I layed down she said she was done! I was worried so I looked into the mirror and saw she had completely ripped off 1/2 of one of my eye brows! I told the front desk that I was upset and that I would not be returning. They saw my missing eye brow and did not charge me for the service. They told me to go to Ulta to buy products to help me grow my eye brows back. I went to Ulta and spent $150. on eye brow products.The lesson I learned from this experience is that just because a business specializes it only ONE thing,,,it does not mean that they have properly trained their staff.RUN dont walk away....if you are planning on having any waxing done on your face.
