Super great experience. I set up my repair appointment before the winter storm, and had to reschedule. Zoom was super flexible, and even adjusted my appointment time to accommodate a work from home issue. Great company! We called after 5pm and they were able to schedule us for the next day. They gave us a window between 1-4pm and showed up at 1. The repair was quick and our dryer is good as new. They were friendly and honest. We’ll definitely be using them for any future repairs.

Tommy has worked on two appliances for me -washer and microwave. Both times he was prompt, personable, honest, and fast. He gave me good advice about a replacement washer to fit my requirements when my 20 yr old washer couldnt be saved (despite heroic efforts) and quickly diagnosed my microwave issue. I also appreciate that he took quick pictures of all my appliance model numbers so that if I ever had an issue in the future, he would be able to make sure he had all parts in advance of coming to look at the issue. Fully recommend.

Tommy arrived on schedule and was very thorough when going over the issue. It turned out to be a very minor problem, and he didnt try it overdo what needed fixing to make extra money -- like so many contractors do. He was also very contentious about water escaping when checking the washing machine for the leak. He cleaned up after himself (which I cannot say I have ever seen any other repair service do). He was clean, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, I cannot say enough good things! I have already saved Zoom Appliance Repair in my phone and dont plan on using anyone else.

He said he could and then after a quick trip to get the needed part, my fireplace was working better than ever!!! These guys are great. My Viking double oven had stopped getting hot. Both of them broke at the same time. I started looking at replacements and it made me sick. A guy at “the big box store” gave me a Zoom Appliance card and recommended a repair instead of replacement. I thought this will cost an arm and a leg too. I reluctantly checked out Yelp and found these guys. The guy from Zoom pulled out the double oven and poked around for maybe five minutes before announcing I had blown the oven thermal fuse. He tells me it’ll be $300 and he has the part with him. I feel like I got off super easy. For the record they show up in a timely fashion, are very polite and professional and he seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again and tell a friend.

I needed help with my dishwasher and microwave last minute. I called many companies, but when I called Zoom appliance..the Heather who picked up the phone made me feel like she was going to do everything she can to help me, and she did. I called her several times, changing my appointment, and she still worked with me. When the repair guy came he realized there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher, just the water faucet needed to be turned on..and fixed my microwave just in time for my inspection. Just great, kind and honest people. I would work with them again.

Tommy came to my home the same day when my refrigerator was not cooling. He troubleshoot the problem within minutes. While he was here he took pictures of the serial numbers from my other appliances so in the future if I have issues with them he will have them available for part references or orders. Tommy was awesome!I had done my research on what the problem with my oven/range was, and so I was prepared to talk shop, just in case. He diagnosed the reason our oven/range would not turn on and fixed it in about 10 minutes. I asked if it was the thermal fuse, and he didnt hesitate to confirm that was the issue, and charge a reasonable price. He also explained to me the risks of using the self clean on my particular LG oven/range, so as to help me prevent this from happening again in the future. He further advised us on best practices and how to help us keep our appliances working long after the service call. Highly recommended!

Contacted for a repair to a Thermador gas cook top. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Local, family owned business. Recommend wholeheartedly!

I had a refrigerator that wasnt cooling. Most service companies I called wanted $150 to just diagnose the issue. Zoom came out for a $60 service charge. Tommy quickly and professionally diagnosed an issue and was very straightforward about the cost to repair and potential unseen things we may run into along the way. He let me know we were looking at a minimum of around $400 in order to fix the refrigerator. He allowed me some time to think and just cancel the repair with only the diagnostic fee being spent. This allowed me to use the savings towards a new appliance.Tommy also logged my other appliances so they could be prepared in order to fix them if I ever needed it. I will definitely use Zoom in the future and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone that asks.

He also stood behind his work and word, only charging me for the part on the second visit.He could have easily sold me on replacing both parts on the first visit, but he was honest and tried to save me money by avoiding needless repairs. Highly recommended. I discovered Zoom Appliance by chance while browsing online for a replacement ice machine and am very glad I did. Tommy Cowan, the owner, installed a fully refurbished Hoshizaki ice machine for a very reasonable price which included a full 6 month warranty. Tommy had to first replace my old water filter, clean out the drain line and do other plumbing type work before installing the unit. He was thorough and efficient in his work and was a pleasure to deal with during the installation. And, the new machine was making clear ice before he left. In the future when I need any type of appliance work, I will call Zoom first.
