Unfortunately there is NO PARKING at this complex from 6pm-6am. If you come home after 6pm, you will be lucky to find a spot. When you put 2-4+ adults with multiple cars/trucks in an apartment, provide parking. Police are now ticketing renters for parking along the street. Where do you want renters to park??? Parking needs to be rectified in order to call this an above average apartment complex.

Leasing 2 bedroom appt. for a year. & 2 baths, washer & dryer, nice kitchen with appliances. Also microwave & dishwasher. Balcony. Didnt move everything in yet. Parking might b bad. Elevator little dirty & hallway. Has an outdoor pool which is a plus

The poor quality of construction has lead to a myriad of issues. The floors are visibly not level, several inches off in a 5 foot span. Drywall is cracking, sinks are falling out of counter tops and cracking. Door need to be shaved (multiple times) in order to shut. Grass no longer grows, the site is gravel and sand. These problems aren’t not isolated to one building. After Speaking to residents it is clear that the problems are consistent throughout. To add insult to injury, we have identified an airborne mold issue. The property will not give us details about the levels or type of mold. But they recommend we move out. They state this is an isolated incident but we know other ground floor apartments are having the concrete floors hammered out. The apartment flooded prior to us moving In and there doesn’t appear to be a proper vapor barrier between the concrete and flooring (which is poorly laid carpet and poorly installed laminate).Update (Tuesday evening): we were told last week Thursday that the office would reach out to the mold remediation company to find out how extensive the process is/is it safe and or possible for my family to stay in apartment while it is completed. On Monday I asked for an update m, office staff said they reached out and the vendor was waiting on test results. Which was an out and out lie, no additional testing had been done therefore there are no results to be waiting on. All day Tuesday and still no answer to the very important question about my family’s safety. I reached out to two moving companies for estimates and provided them (as asked) to the property. The lowest was about $1600. The property responded that they will reimburse $500 of the move plus 200 customer service fee. So to be clear: they will not tell us how much or type of mold, they have failed to answer questions that are key to our peace of mind and decision making, and they will not even pay for half of the moving cost... not to mention the clothes and furniture we lost.Moving company told me they have moved several people out of ground floor apartments due to foundation issues. Morgan Properties does not care about the safety if it’s residents.Photos show: Terrible landscaping (buried construction material showing through, Holes in ceiling in common areas, broken dryer vent outside that a bird is nesting (called 3 + times about this fire hazard), Water stains on drywall tape, the change in level in 5 span, the shaved tops of doors, cracking in walls around door frames due to sever settling, sinks cracked and pulling away from counter tops, broken gate on garbage area (over a year) terrible laid carpet and laminate flooring., and last but not least the mold that has returned again!

I just called this property to express interest in renting from them and ask questions about the apartment. When I made this call, I was under the impression that the apartments were furnished, as clearly stated on their Trulia listing. After a long conversation in which I asked all my questions I was ready to set up an appointment to view, but first wanted to double check about the furnishing. Unfortunately it seems none of these apartments are furnished, and I just wasted 15 minutes of my time when I could have been talking to other prospects that actually meet my needs. I would have asked that question first had I not been led to believe that I didn’t need to ask due to misinformation. I don’t appreciate the false advertising or the waste of my time. Seems like this property has a lot of issues with unclear communication (based on other reviews). Be better! Businesses should be transparent and customer focused.One star for The Kane Apartment Homes, plus one star for the very friendly and polite person I spoke with on the phone.

Great place however, there is no parking at night. Worst is the complex is selling parking spots. Now you have to deal with reserved spots. This is not fair to others that do not have the financial ability to pay for a reserved spot. Is this even legal?

I just love Kane Apartments! The apartments are very spacious and super clean. The residents are professionals and very respectful of one another. The clubhouse has a lot of amenities I was looking for and who doesn’t love an on-site pool! The monthly get togethers are a nice touch for getting to know the Kane community. I highly recommend it!!

My mom lives there. The place is really nice. The parking there is bad people park wherever they want. It has caused issues with the fire department responding to calls.

We were looking for a 1 bed or 2 bed apartment. My wife called a day in advanced to make sure they had availability to view and to move in and the receptionist said they did. My wife and myself had an appointment on 10-15-20 at 1pm to view them but they all of a sudden didn’t have anything to view or that were available until December. A complete waste of time and unprofessional. Do not appreciate our time being wasted. A shame because it looks like a nice complex but management needs to get their facts straight. Funny thing.....as we were leaving about 1:15pm.....3 cop cars showed up simultaneously. Woah!

Sinks falling out of counter tops which isn’t permanently fixed, plumbing issues on lower floor made my second floor unit bathroom out of order and overflowing toilet for 1 week already without a set time frame for repairs. Spoke with the management and they are not sure when it will be fixed. Spoke with maintenance guy and he basically said you need to speak with the management team. They basically just pass the buck from one person to the next. They never will respond to your emails unless they want your money. Check your ledgers carefully as well because you’ll find numerous late fees and miscellaneous charges. This place looks great from the outside but the experience with the management team has been a nightmare!! Renters beware!!! Speak to a few people that actually live here before you sign the lease!!

This is one of the worst apartments Ive ever lived in, first, if you have a late night shift, then I wish you all the best to find a parking, its impossible to find a parking Except in leasing office parking which is far from building 3000 where I live, oh btw, I live in building 3000 so I hope that you dont say my name isnt in ur records.

Me and my husband just moved in and we absolutely love it so far! It is VERY quiet and very safe. I have two dogs and everything has been great with them so far. They feel right at home to. The washer and dryer in the unit is amazing. Maintenance is extremely fast and always working hard. You can see them outside almost all day going to different apartments. Snow removal has been on point so far. The gym is very nice, and I am excited to get to use the pool in a few months (: The only downfall is owners not being responsible for dog poop. I have had to throw away a pair of shoes already because people just leave the poop laying around. But, that is not the properties fault, it is the lazy dog owners. All in all I absolutely LOVE living here. I highly recommend it!

I moved here in 2018 and was the first person in my building. Im going on 3 years living here and I absolutely love these apartments! Very quiet setting with lots of things to do in a close vicinity. Everytime I need something the ladies at the front office are all over it. Maintenence is very good and requests are usually handled within 24 hours. Parking can be a hassle sometime but in all of the places Ive lived that is normal. I love how big the washer and dryers are that come in the units.

Property manager is absolutely the rudest person I’ve ever met. The priorProperty manager was sweet and helpful if you called with a question or concern. This one is horrible! I’ve been here since they first were built and loved them until she took over. The apartments are nice and spacious. But the lack of parking and terrible management ruin it completely.

Signed a Year Lease in March 18 and have no regrets. Property is excellent. The Property Management Team is wonderful. Shane & Donna are very attentive, polite, engaging and an absolute pleasure at the times I do get down to the office. Property is clean, buildings are secure, Current Floorplan (1bed + den) is the perfect size for me. Highly Recommend the Kane.. Come Check it Out!

Property manager is the rudest person you will ever run into . Please save your money and give it to another complex that actually cares about there residents. Parking is a nightmare and since the new management company has taken over the apartments are just falling apart absolutely no maintainenceis being done. My husband and I lived here since they opened and the previous property manager and the company loved the residents and the complexIt was well taken care of and the residents felt like home. It’s all taken a turn for the worst since the new property manager has come on board . Save your self the head ache of dealing with absolutely the rudest human ever and give your money to a more deserving complex .

These apartments have gone downhill fast since Morgan Properties has taken over. The staff is very unprofessional, maintenance issues take forever to be resolved if ever, the property has has serious construction issues. Parking is a huge hassle and we get harassed when we have visitors. I have rented all over the USA and Kane is by far the worst.

If you are looking for a place that provides adequate parking The Kane at Grays Landing is not for you. I had a bad experience with the property manager over handicap parking. There is not enough handicap parking at my building. There are only two spaces for three individuals that require handicap parking. I have explained to the office that I have a lung disease which requires me to use oxygen. I asked the property manager if they would designate another parking space as handicap and her reply was we meet the state requirements. If you are handicap and looking for an apartment, this is not the place for you. I feel it is a reasonable request to ask them to designate another handicap parking space; however, the property manager does not feel that she should accommodate a resident who pays their rent and happens to have a disability.

I am moving from out of state and came across this property location. Today I spoke with Shane and he raised the customer service bar. He not only represented his organization and the property where he works in a professional manner, he personally went above and beyond in his level of customer service that raises the bar in the property rental industry. We have lived at The Kane since they were first built last June. We love the layout of this apartment making it feel open and roomy. The office and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoy having the pool, fitness center, and beautiful clubhouse. Just signed our 2nd year lease!

Very terrible experience with management. My husband put a deposit down and 2 hrs later had to cancel. All correspondence was flat no. Sadly enough he had to transfer there from delaware in a matter of weeks. No compassion whatsoever.
