This 99 cent store is my favorite one. I live in Lincoln Heights but dont mind driving to Alhambra for this store. Everyone is very helpful and take pride in what they do. Great experience every single time I visit

They had a incredible selection of Halloween decorations.

Always a good experience. The cashiers were nice and the place was clean and organized. The floors near the back by the freezers needs to be replaced because of normal wear & tear. Parking in the front is always packed - cant avoid that.

Great place to find affordable groceries and drinks. They really need to get more cashiers though. Two cashiers for the whole store thats usually busy doesnt cut it. Oh and whats up with the bathrooms, you always have to hunt someone to open it for you. Not cool.

Convenient locations, always stock with all essentials. Unbeatable prices, I shop here weekly.

Larger size store, so many things in stock. Plenty of stationery items, food, party items, even hats and swimming gear for kids. Some toys, kitchen items, cant see any appliances though. Aisles are wide and clean. Shelves are stacked neatly, plenty of fruit and vegetables and the sections are clean.

Whats not to love?The shelves and fridges are packed with eggs, milk, water, fresh produce, toilet paper, paper products, anti-bacterial cleaning products and EVERYTHING else in between ‼

I come here for the good vibes and the great savings. Also, tropic liquor is only 50 feet away.

They are in the process of moving merchandise around looks good but the signs need to be up dated

This is store is great to buy all stuff with good prices and you can get veggies, fruits, shoes, caps, chips and much more stuff depending on any festival coming you can get surprise goodies to purchase.

Its a 99 cent store - good for random non-perishables, cleaning supplies, holiday-themed brick-a-brac, and simple plastic/glass plates/flatware/etc. Buyer beware on their vegetables, though.Prices are up, but whats new about that, in the Covid age.

Theres nothing wrong with this place except for the long lines, but thats because people like it. I understand theres long lines at fancy places, too

Well stocked and clean, prices are not 99 cents across the store. Must check prices per item as these can vary

If l need some quick vegetables I go there.. Or any other food items.. They dont have it all like the supermarkets but I get what I need ..

Im okay with most of the products they come out of there except I would avoid buying food because normally its by the end of The pull date full

Customer service is so lacking. I told the cashier I was paying by chk, and asked how to address it. She told me, I proceeded to fill it out and sign. I gave her my id and the chk. She said oh, we dont take those. I inserted my amex, same response. Needless to say, I wont be going back to that store.

My visit to the 99 cent store was great they have a large selection and I found what I was looking for.

Its a good place to shop for essentials and the occasional Treats ! The people who work there are very nice and helpful.Felt great to be out shopping again!

This 99 is relatively stocked. The parking is big but the traffic is fairly quick in & out. Good produce selection at this one.

Really big 99 cents store they have everything you need for the household and great service love it there.

The store might be at times a bit crowded, but for the assortment of uncommon products I can see why. Through the past 17 years of my time visiting the store theyre most often stocked with a wide variety of interesting items which scale from expensive snacks, to even expensive looking electronics like battery chargers and headphones.Over all my experiences with handling my groceries taking them to the cash register is rather however I do have some small concerns with the lack of open cash registers. When you go there youll find great stuff, you just might have to wait a little bit to get it out. A very great place to visitP.S. They even have legit Marshmallows!

I live in LA, to get away from all the Riff Raff I go out towards Alhambra Rosemead and try to get my shopping down there much nicer this store is so now I can find everything I need and some and it feels good when I leave the store the store is always clean and and well-stocked.

Long line but moved very quick. Some days during rush hours the lines can be extremely long. There was not shopping carts available today they were scattered in the parking lot but as i was exiting I saw a young man retrieving them. Employees are nice most of the time.

Would give it 5 stars if checkout lines werent so long. Can find the most unexpected merchandise there - from plush throws to pregnancy tests (yes, a pregnancy test for 99¢...hmmm). 😁

Its good, services northeast LA, Alhambra and South Pasadena. The vegetable selection varies, so if you like something you should stock up on it (but dont be greedy, cheeky monkey). You can get nopales there, as well as a decent assortment of chiles. Every few days, older bananas are sold for cheap but if you cannot handle old dont buy them! Lots of Latinx and some Chinitx and elderly; everyone gets along and although theres two liquor stores outside (often with its prerequisite questionable patrons of dubious intent), theres no trouble (dont poo where you eat theory).

Some cashiers are very badly educated, the items have a price and I show the cashier that the coconut were at 99 cents, I went took a picture at the price.And the cashier shouted at me like crazy that the price was wrong, the manager arrive and the charger me the coconut 1,99 cents.I believe that. I have not returned nor am I going to return, I am looking for another store, no matter that it is further away

Havent been in since remodel till now and I have to say its impressive. Clean, neater aisles, brighter store in general. Was there on a Busy Saturday afternoon in August where local schools either just started or were going to start very soon and clerks were helpful and friendly. The store appeared near although I am sure it had been rummaged through, it didnt appear that way.Im impressed. Great job.

The manager is young, rude, and ignorant. The store is disorganized and messy. Poor selection.

A good place to buy some of your groceries. I mentioned some because this is a small place. I wish more selections are available. Parking space availability? Great parking availability (at least around 5:00 pm onward) There are many parking slots for blue parking permits. That being said, if you own one, then you dont need to worry about parking your vehicle.
