I selected Palm View Dental for my dental care after scanning carefully on Yelp for neighborhood dental offices. I visited the office a few times prior to the pandemic. To say that I was not disappointed would be an understatement. The office is new and clean equipped with the state of the art equipments, staff as well as all dentists that I came in contact with were all friendly, helpful and professional.I went back again after over a year. I was pleased with the overall experience from the reservation process to the actual visit.Even though my Medicare HMO does provide some dental coverage, I have been forgoing the benefits so that I can enjoy the all around great services from Palm View Dental.I am a paying patient, and not being patient d to write this review.

Dr. Jessie Yang did a wonderful job in cleaning myTeeth!! thank you!! =) I have not been going to the dentist for over 1.5 years due to pandemic (I did not dare to go out much) and my teeth was building up a lot of plaque. She was gentle and did a very very great job in cleaning my teeth. Now when I look in the mirror, I can see that there is no more plaque on the front or back/behind my teeth. I can also floss better now after the teeth cleaning.

I’ve been coming to this office for years now because I love their professionalism! The wait is never too long and staff is just so friendly and kind. The doctors are also great and gentle, which helps take the fear and stress out of dental visits. I love that there are multiple dentists here, it makes scheduling really easy. Highly recommend!

Palm View is clean and efficient every time I’m here. They also tell you your coats upfront so you can make an informed decision about your treatment. More dental offices should be like this vs. sending you with a bill in the mail after the fact. Staff and dentist are always amazing!

I love this place. My experiences here have redeemed the horrible childhood experiences that I had my local dental office over the years. The services are run here with such organization, efficiency and care. I always arrive to a room thats already prepared for me. All of the staff is super hospitable and ready to be of service when necessary. Ive noticed that the the staff communicate to with respect as Ive been to other office where thats clearly not the case. The doctors are also amazing! I think Ive been seen by every dentist here and I always feel like Im in great hands in every appointment. I cant say enough about this place! Ill be a patient here for as long as I can. Im so committed that I came back after a year that my insurance had changed.

As usual Dr. Ho and her staff were outstanding, during my oral surgery, Dr. Ho and her assistant were constantly checking on my comfort level and my pain threshold. I didn’t feel any discomfort during the surgery due to Dr. Ho’s gentle hands. I would recommend Dr. Ho to anyone.

I started my journey with pain on my tooth. I thought I could hold on for a few months. But they were able to take me ASAP. The people here are so amazing! So fun, kind, communicate during the treatment. I think I’ve found a dentist for my family and I.

Had my usual cleaning and inspection this morning and was in and out in no time but I’m assuming that was because Palm View Dental has taken care of all my crown replacements, root canals, and any cavities I’ve earned over the last couple of years. It’s nice just to get the basic cleaning and walk out the door with nothing to worry about until my next cleaning.

The best place for you and your teeth (also for those who only have 1 tooth). Very professional. Highly recommended.

I always have a pleasant experience at the office, both dental assistant and dentist are all amazing. They try to make small talk to make you more comfortable haha but they are always happy and cheerful.The only reason for the not giving 5 stars is the RSVP process. Im an existing customer so I get email and text notifications advising me its time to make my next visit. It also provides a link to make the RSVP online. Which I have done previously as well. This time around I had the pleasure of communicating with Yvonne. Online ask for your communication preferences. I checked email only. The first communication I get from Yvonne is a miss call and a follow up email stating I left you a VM, please call back for RSVP paraphrasing of course. I respond advising I requested email communication only as my VM does not work and I dont answer unknown calls. I provide her with my available dates and time preferences. 2 weeks later, nothing... I email her again to follow up and the only available appt that matches my availability (I gave too many options for this to be the only available appt). I accepted the appt despite its inconveniences because it was better than dealing with how irritable she seemed having to communicate via email.Basically... Dont offer services you cant provide.I love the staff at the office otherwise, just one bad experience with scheduling...

Dr. Karen Ho & Cherry the dental hygienist are very gentle, thorough and professional. The dental office is always very clean and on time with appointments. They run a very tight ship. Easy to park and plenty of spacious parking spots. I highly recommend this dental practice! The only thing I would suggest to them is to give client a toothbrush & dental floss as our previous dentist who retired at a different office.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Karen Ho ever since she opened her practice back when it was first located at Garfield & Valley in Alhambra. The entire staff at Palm View Dental are very professional and they provide excellent customer service. They always make me feel comfortable during my visits and any procedures that needs to be done are explained thoroughly beforehand. All of my experiences with them have been a great one. They take good care of their patients. Their dental office is very clean and modern and they have been strictly following COVID-19 safety protocols during the pandemic. I recently moved back to LA and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Ho and her staff are incredible. They constantly checked in with me throughout the treatment to make sure I was comfortable. Rare to say you enjoy a dentist visit but I honestly did! Everyone in the office were nice and welcoming. Everything kept clean and performed covid protocols. My visit was explained thoroughly along with my concerns being answered with signs of empathy!

Very clean and organized dental office. I was a little worried because of covid but the staff was very professional and prepared. They don’t let anyone wait in the wait room, instead they ask you to check in from your car and finish your paper work prior to entering the office. The parking is very easy as they have their own private lot and most importantly the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend :)

I was asked to click a link through a text upon arriving for my appointment. I waited until my time at which point I was called and instructed to enter through the front door with mask on. My temp was checked and hand sanitizer was provided. I was led directly to my room. I had to do x-rays and cleaning. It goes without saying that my mask had to be removed. Everyone had gloves on and would change them regularly when directly compromised. Each person had a mask and a face shield on. Equipment were being wiped down whenever possible. Upon finishing my visit I put my mask on and was led directly out the front.Everyone was nice and informative. They have high tech 3D scanning equipment that takes some time but the results are very interesting as you are able to see correction possibilities and also a visual representation on how your teeth are acting. They also have a camera that allows them to take high quality photos inside your mouth so you can see for yourself what your teeth are looking like.I had nothing else done so I cant comment on anything else.

Palm View Dental is honestly the best dentist office. Whenever I have a dental emergency they do their absolute best to squeeze me in right away. The whole staff is very personable and friendly. I’ve never had to wait in the lobby for a long time the way I do at other dental offices. The second I walk in they greet me by my name and I get seated right away. The facility is very clean and they are very thorough with the whole covid pre screen process. Dr. Yang is very sweet and carefully takes her time explaining every detail and reassures you understand. She’s very gentle when she works on my teeth and always asks if I’m okay. I always come in to the dentist with anxiety because I’ve always hated the dentist since I was young but there’s something about Dr. Yang that makes you feel calm. All the dental hygienists who’s ever done cleanings on me are very nice and take good care of you. Totally recommend this place.

This dentist was recommended by my sister. The hygienist was super gentle. I have very sensitive teeth and I get jumpy with cold water. The dentist was very thorough and gave me options. They took all kinds of images to show me what I needed.

The dentists are good, attentive, and highly competent. I am not comfortable with the manager in the manner in which she billed me for the charges. I could use more transparency.

My first trip in to Palm View Dental was a great experience. I had to have several cavities taken care of in a single sitting. Normally when people are very busy (like most doctors are) they tend to gloss over their answers, but she took the time to provide enough details satisfy my curiosity. I have seen both hygienists Joy and Cherry for my teeth cleaning. Today, I had my cleaning with Cherry, fillings and crown done by Dr Ho. I was a little scare at first but Dr Ho and her hygienist did a great job. They explained all the procedures and comforted me with all the details. With all the craziness going right now, I am glad that this visit made me feel so good and safe as well. Good job and sending my satisfactions to the Palmview’s team. This place will be my preferred dental office for a long time.

The front desk staff are extremely friendly and sweet!During my visit, I saw Cherry, the dental hygienist, who cleaned my teeth and thoroughly explained everything she found, as well as, possible work that I would need to do. She did an awesome job with my teeth cleaning!Afterwards, Dr. Jessie Yang came to see me and went a bit more in detail about Cherrys findings. I can sense that everyones suggestions arent just to take my money but to really care for me as their patient. Im so thankful that my wifes co-worker, current patient at Palm View, referred us to this practice.Im looking forward to my future visits and Im thankful that Im in good hands!

I started going to this place during Covid 19 for Invisalign. The staffs were very nice and were cautious of corona virus. As of Invisalign, the progress of my teeth alignment was quick and easy!

All staff are very professional and kind. They are very COVID 19 compliant following protocol and guidelinesThere is never 2 people in the waiting room at the same time by being spaced out in different rooms. A questionnaire is to be filled before going into building and hand sanitizer is used as soon as I walk thru door and I don’t touch any doors at all. There is social distancing inside and everyone has PPE to be safe.

I’m super happy to share my 5 stars review here because not only I feel this is an incredible place but also I feel like they treat here as their home. And it is their home. I feel I’m treated very very well. They are very patient and very thoughtful. Clean and well organized. I can watch movies there and if I want to talk they are happy to chat with me. I had fear for going to dentist and even thinking about it. So it was a problem because I always postpone my issuers. But not any more since I come here. I love this home.

When I first visited Dr. Ho I havent been to a dentist in many years. My teeth were in bad shape with numerous cavities. I was very self-conscious about it and definitely nervous on my first visit. But Dr. Ho treated me with respect and didnt judge me or make me feel bad about the state of my teeth. If it wasnt for this positive experience Im sure I wouldve been scared of dentists for a while.Over the years I have been to Palm View Dental many many times for routine cleanings, check ups, occasional fillings, etc. The office is clean and well-equipped with modern dental equipment.I have met with Dr. Oh and Dr. Chen also. They were happy to answer any questions or concerns I had and of course provide the same respectful, welcoming, high quality of care experience as Dr. Ho. The hygienists, dental assistants and staff all provide the same experience.I first visited Dr. Hos office around 2010. Im happy to see the same top-notch care and respectful welcoming experience 10 years later during my most recent visit on January 4, 2020.

Our previous dentist suggested that my wife urgently needed to see a periodontist for gum flap surgery for her gum disease. We called Palm View Dental and made an appointment to see Dr. Chen, where he explained that she did have gum disease but it wasnt something that required surgery but instead that would monitor the condition and proceed from there. Dr. Chen was very thorough in his examination and went through what he thought should be our priorities for the future treatment for my wife.Based on our experience I highly recommend Dr. Chen for his honesty and thoroughness.

My whole family has been going to Palm View Dental for the past 3 plus years. We are extremely satisfied with their level of service and professionalism. Your wait wait time on a scheduled appointment is within 3 minutes.The office is clean and well designed. There is a high level of professionalism with the dental service, they always tell you what they are going do, and the work is gentle especially the cleaning. They use high pressure water to do most of the teeth cleaning which is easier than the dreaded hook device. The hook is used at the end but sparingly.The only negative opinion of this office was their orthodontist referral for our son. We had a poor experience with the other office because we felt that they were too pushy for a sale rather than being a professional advisor. We instead went with our own orthodontist.We go in every 6 months for dental work and the level of service is the same. Consistency is quality. I would rate this dental office as “Meets and Exceeds”.

9/2021 Update: Dr. Ho & her staff at Palm View Dental are phenomenal! This is the one doctor I never have to fear going to (having trauma of the dentist as a child, and for years onward, before finding Dr. Ho). I actually look forward to going to the dentist now! Palm View Dental has held the highest standard in customer service & patient care. Their clinic is very clean and tidy. Wait time has never been a problem. Their are all subject matter experts in what they do and know. They have all been very supportive from my dental care to insurance coverage. Ensuring everything has been checked and balanced. As of late, I just recently had my Invisalign anchors removed and in the process to be reviewed for the next procedure to correct my bite and prevent any further grinding of my front teeth.

Dr Chen and Dr Ho are the best dentist I came across. Dr Chen is so gentle that I feel at ease when he is working on me. When you see a good dentist, you will know and I trusted on his professional opinions. For a person who dislike going to the dentist totally, I will keep my appointment with Dr Chen no matter what.
