Neils Express is my go-to mechanic for everything, They are very professional, accurate at diagnosis, and fix the car for reasonable prices. It is hard to find a mechanic to trust, and I trust them. Angel is a wizard with fixing anything wrong with a car. You cant go wrong with Neils.

They have good service but when I took .my car in for just something minor they called me when it was done and tried to tell me a bunch of simple stuff that needed to be replaced. Pretty much they tried swindling me for more money. I will not go back. The simplest service takes forever youll need a rental car if you go here! I would not recommend it but the good thing is that they are triple A certified if that helps!

After having many bad experiences with mechanics in the past I was hesitant to try out a new shop... a friend recommended this place who had gotten some work done in the past and I’m glad I came... My car needed brakes which they were able to do for a great price! Definitely coming back

Ive used Neils as my go to repair for the last 1.5 years and previous services were adequate, but dont go here, dont listen to their understanding. Absolute circus of a business.my partner and I got hosed here August 2020. She needed an oil change that led to $900 in repairs for her axel, which she had to return the next day because their repair seal was faulty -legit their words. I needed my dome lights and electrical inspected. Im still waiting on this issue to be fixed. They said I had to replace the alternator again, which they replaced less than a year ago, because the ac, which they fixed in April 2020, was leaking and shorted out the alternator. Charged full price and upsold extra unnecessary labor by not disclosing the final total. I was taken care of by getting a measly $75 off and a signature credit on my receipt for my next 5k oil change.Between her and I, 3k flushed and I still dont have my vehicle back.Terrible operations management, dishonest mechanical work. DO NOT GO HERE

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! I left my car here for AC service and since I couldnt take it, I let my wife drop it off. They kept my car for 5 days and I notice my mileage was way past the original mileage. They didnt fix my A/C and they refused to give any explanation. In other words they drove my car around and kept the money. I tried to contact the owner but they also refused. If your the OWNER fyi they are >>>EMBEZZLING

Cant recommend this shop enough. They not only did a thorough pre-purchase inspection for a used car I was looking into buying (and doing so putting my mind at ease with my purchase), but I received also lots of extra advice on how to navigate through some kinda shady parts of my deal. George helped me way beyond what you would normally expect from a routine visit at a car shop, Ive got so much more than what I asked for. Again, cant recommend them enough!

I was recommended this place to install springs all around and i was pleased with the outcome. The technicians were knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend this place to others.

I had an appointment early morning, but when I arrive they told me I never place an appointment so I would have to wait until they have someone to get on the job so I told them I cant leave the car as I came by myself and I can wait. After 1 hour of wait I was told they cant do my car because of how low it is, but I told them its stock height not lower at all.

July 18 2020, a 5 follow up Air Condition Leak Check as part of their air conditioning service. My complaint here is about their philosophy of work after paid. I was asked to come back a week after to do leak check. That a gimmick in my experience because they do not perform anything in value to your car whether your car has a leak or not. I asked for a pressure/volume Freon level check (compared to original 1.12 lb refrigerant volume charged last week for 2007 Ford Focus Sedan) but the service guy at front desk refused. How hard could it be to connect the coupler with a manifold Air conditioning Gage and see if the same volume now as last week. 😬

I called to ask if I can do my alignment on my Jeep and they stated they can if I get there before closing so I rushed and when I got there they stated I need to come back tomorrow as they were to busy... Like should of told me that before instead of making me drive 30miles for nothing to get there and back home. Very bad service...

Neils, I have taken most of my cars here for services since the mid 80s I met Neil back then and his service is still one of the best.

I came here for an alignment, but they refused because it was late is what they said and to come back the next day I came back and they still didnt want to align my car and my car is a sedan not a sports car so thats just bad service all together...

Its been sometime since I brought my vehicle to this shop. The last time I was here was about 1994. I believe Neil was still running the shop, fixed my car and never took my car back. Ive since sold that car and had a few new cars, which now kept my car for 13 years. I need some work done, and had work done at other shops which I wouldnt recommend,however Neils should have been my first choice!! Coming here I had a great customer service experience, Mario has great customer service, and helped me out after explain what my car needed done. Also he gave me a time the car would be ready, and didnt keep my car more then what I was told, this is definitely a plus in my book! I would definitely come back and also recommend friends and family!!

They botched my transmission oil change. Wasted my money and messed up my transmission. Come here for common easy things like oil changes, I wouldnt trust them with anything else.

I brought my 1989 BMW 325I for a/c service and diagnostic. they found the problem in a timely manner and were upfront about the cost. Karina the receptionist was very kindly when she gave me a ride home. The next day when my vehicle was ready they picked me up. Im a very satisfied customer and I would recommend Neils Automotive service to everyone.

Always drove by this garage while I lived in Alhambra, but never really tried them. I guess I always had a mechanic what I really trust a lot till recent bad work. Today I came in with my BMW, which has an issue with the A/C. I was promptly greeted at the front desk by Angel, who was courteous and knowledgeable. I explained the situation and checked out the vehicle. Right off the bat he pinpointed one obvious issue (clutch not starting), and explained a plan of action to fix the issue. While I waited we chatted a bit and found out that most of the guys in the shop live off-road vehicles as much as I do. Needless to say Im going off-roading with his crew tomorrow. Anyhow, once my car was ready, the work done and diagnosis follow up was explained to me, clearly. I think Ive found a new great mechanic garage for my vehicles and new off-roading buds. Aboslutely recommend this place for your cars needs.

I unfortunately had a bad experience here I had my timing chain done here which they did complete, it took a bit longer than expected but they explained why and I was fine with it. Here is the problem they used the wrong oil filter for my car the filter was visibly small than OEM and any other aftermarket filter I checked it online and it didnt seem to match my car. The second problem was they over filled my engine with two much oil I would say more than double! I drained out 4 quarts and it was still way past the mark in the oil dipstick. This later causes my oil pressure to have problems the needle was jumping up and down non stop while it was idling. I ended up draining the oil and changing out the oil filter and the oil pressure sensor just in case and it solved my problem. They have great customer service and are very nice and like I said they did complete the job but it almost cost me my engine for a simple mistake.

I came to Neils EAR to get my front and rear breaks (on both sides) replaced with my own supply of ponsi ceramic break pads. Total labor price quote was $176 (break rotors and breakpads) for all sides (F-R) with re-surfacing. The staff (Angel, Giovanni & MarybelI) are competent, honest, provided great customer service and amiable. Angel went above and beyond to provide service; even notified/showed me that my rear break rotors needed to be replaced, which Im fully aware of, as evidence by the glaze and warped plates. I decided to replace it and quoted price for two rear break rotors was $80 bucks w/ a two year limited warranty. The whole service took them close to ~3 hours to complete which is way far too long.Overall, I highly recommend Neils EAR to anyone who needs basic auto service.

I have been talking my vehicles there for over 15 years....the QUALITY of service has gone down dramatically... has been going down since 2014. I took my vehicles there 3 times this year (2016)and that was it. First the Mechanic replaced my water pump and forgot to clamp my radiator hose...my van over heated and my radiator cracked...they didnt want to take responsibilitie that that was there error....they replacedit after a long arguement.There Mechanic was involved in a car accident involving my vehicle on a test drive..never did the mechanic apologize for the accident..we where furious... of course my insurance and the other parties insurance settled.They have messed up my Truck also.They do fast work on your vehicle but the quality is no good...you will be back ther for something else on your vehicle...I DONT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY ABOUT QUICK CASH!!!if you are a first time customer they will give you a great deal... to reel you in (get you hooked) after that they got you cause you will be back..I FOUND ME ANOTHER MECHANIC GREAT WORK...GREAT SERVICE AND PRICING...NEILS AUTO REPAIR GETS 2 THUMBS DOWN 👎👎

Attempted to lie to me regarding to an AC issue where is just a lack of freon, but they said the compressor is broken which is going to be $1,200. Very unethical behavior.
