Went in with what I thought was a multiple cracked screen. I was willing to pay the fix it price and said Id wait (wait time was to be 30-40 minutes). 10 minutes later he came out to my car and told me it was the gorilla glass that cracked and he just took it off and replaced it. Professional, honest, and great service. In a time where it can be hard to trust vendors, this person was the best!!! Highly recommended.

I went in with a smashed iPhone and a brand new one. In hopes that the gentleman that helped me could get the smashed iPhone turned on to retrieve the data. Even plugged in my Mac for two hours, it would not appear. So, he looked the broken one over and eventually quoted me three VERY fair prices. One if he couldn’t get the phone to work. One if he could get the phone to work and transfer the data. And one for a new screen, which was in VERY bad shape. I told him to do what he could. After about an hour, he came out to show me he successfully replaced the screen, but the original home button was destroyed. He replaced it with an acceptable one, that didn’t have the fingerprint unlock and was a different color. I didn’t care about either one, so he finished up the job. All the original information was still on the phone and it worked perfect. I returned the new iPhone I came in with, that was a replacement for the smashed one. He saved me $450 and for that, I give 5 stars. He was very professional and I truly appreciate the work he put in. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My S8+ lost power, called the 800 number for Samsung and they gave me their Samsung authorized repair service near my zip code, I took my phone to them and after a few days I called them and they told me its the board and they cant fix it come and get your phone. I took it to the C.Pc. repair and in 5 minutes I got a working phone 📱.

Called around to quite a few places everybody quoted me about $260 for an iPhone 11 screen repair. Walked into this place they were absolutely amazing charged me $150 and had it fixed with a new case and put a screen protector onfor me and had it all ready to go when I got there. Cheap fast and professional I recommend you go here opposed to anywhere else. I know I will be coming back in the future if I have any issues with any of my phones.

He then found a creative solution and got my phone back to me the same day! I went in a half hour before closing because my phone had been dead for about 5 hours. They replaced the battery for a low price but high quality. Then the next day I go in because my front camera had stopped working, and they fixed it for free. They work fast and is overall the best place to get your phone repaired :)

Took my iPad to CPR Algonquin. Terrible job. I paid $230.00 for a screen replacement and the button started to pop out within two days. I took it back and they fixed, but it came back with the screen unglued, blotches on the screen and with difficulty the touch screen responds. Now they are offering to glue back, but with exception to the other damages they created. Do not take you gadgets here. I now have to take it elsewhere to fix.

I brought in 2 phones to have the screens replaced. Upon receiving them, all looked well. After going home and checking them, I realized the screen in my s7 would not display anything. Assuming there was a wire not plugged in properly or something easily fixed, I brought it back in. The owner told me that he already fixed it, and that I must have dropped the phone, and quoted me another $160 to replace the screen again. I threw a fit and asked him to at least open up the phone and check the connections. After spending an hour waiting for him, he returned to the counter and again told me that I would need to pay another $160 to get the screen working. During my hour wait, another lady came in and complained about her recent service. I overheard her saying that she believed that her phone screen was coming loose and only being held in place by her phone case. She also accused him of swapping out her laptop with another one, rather than fixing it. She had the serial numbers and said they didnt match. I have come to this location several times in the past, but ever since new management took over their service is garbage. I will never return here for any reason!

I want to share my good experience at this location. My iphone 6s+ was turning on and off repeatedly and I wondered if something bad happened. Mobile phone store salesman looked at my phone and told me its life is over and it’s time to buy a new phone. I can’t afford a new phone. My friend recommended this repair store. Technician diagnosed my phone for minutes and estimated just $40 for battery replacement and charging port cleaning. It took only 15 minutes to finish the repair. They are a real life saver!

Replaced a battery in an iPhone 6S. Service was fast and friendly. Battery failed about a month later. Brought the phone back in and with further diagnosis, determined replacement battery was bad. Replaced it again without hassle. I would use this place again and have no problems recommending them to others.

They have repaired our xbox twice, ipods a few times and screens on phones and always have done a great job. Last month when my daughter cracked her Iphone 6 screen we decided to go to best buy instead because it was closer. The cost was a lot more than I expected and they wanted us to leave the phone for 2 days. So we went back to Cellphone PC Repair with the iphone 6 and he changed the screen in half an hour, included a screen protecter and charged less than half what Best Buy was asking. My son was there and needed a screen protector and he cleaned his phone and added one for him ad well. This is a great business.

I love these guys!!! They have saved me so much money over the years (I tend to drop my electronics...sometimes in water). They have replaced screens on phones and iPads. Dried out water logged smartphones. Theyre honest and upfront; clear in what I can expect in terms of time and operation of repaired device. On my most recent visit, they even provided a loaner phone to get me thru until the part came. In my experience, CPR is always cheaper than the carriers service protection plan plus deductible AND they get the job done faster.

My son has an older model smart phone. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving the charging port went bad. He was heading to Michigan the following day and having a phone was critical. I called CPR Wednesday morning and was given a quote on the repair ($55 + tax), told they had the parts in stock, and took the phone in at lunch time. They called at 4PM to let me know the phone was ready to be picked up. Everyone I spoke with was professional and friendly, and I was exceptionally happy with the speed and quality of service.

Once upon a time, this was a great place to take my phone when it had a cracked screen or a malfunctioning battery port. I even purchased a couple of phones there and really believed I was getting a good deal.The ownership, however, appears to have changed hands and as a result the policies have changed along with the level of professionalism. At the front counter there used to be someone who really knew about what he was talking, he was able to explain problems and possible solutions, he would give me an approximate time when Id be hearing back about my repair and there was actual FOLLOW-THROUGH and COMMUNICATION.In the last 2 days Ive experienced an extremely disappointing opposite of what I had come to expect from this business. Yesterday afternoon I bought in a tablet that needed a repair on the charging port. I was informed at the counter by a young man that Id have to pay an advance of $20 for them to ATTEMPT to make the repair, and if they were successful an additional $45 would be expected.When I asked the young man when I could expect to pick up the tablet, he answered, in a while. When I inquired further for him to be just a little more specific, he answered a couple hours, in a curt tone.I didnt hear from Cel Phone Repair at all yesterday evening, and not at all this morning, either. I drove to the location at 11am and asked about my tablet. The stammering young lady at the front counter told me the repair attempt was a failure. She was nice, apologetic, and completely lacking in the ability to explain the problem or any possible solutions, as well as the reason why the business never called to update me.So, basically, Im out 20 bucks and an hour out of my life for nothing, and theres no accountability from the business whatsoever. The policy of charging 20 dollars for them to try and fix things is as ridiculous as my banks new policy of charging account-holding customers to count their change.Avoid this place.

This place was amazing! They fixed my cracked tablet screen. I was also having a problem with it charging but it turns out it was just the charging cable. They gave me a free charging cable. I dropped off a iPad mini with them 2 months ago, because my iPad would not charge. The company said that the company would try a couple different things on the iPad, but it will get fixed. The company NEVER called me, I had to call them, every time I would call, they kept saying, “we are waiting on a part, it will be fixed tomorrow. After 2 months, I called, they said that they have been talking with me and even that I came in and that I spoke with them face to face, and they were waiting on me to make a decision. Non the less, they admitted that is was not me and my iPad is helpless, there is nothing that can be done. Yet they never talked with me via phone, text, email, no communication. Now they want me to pay them $45.00 to get my iPad back, they are holding it hostage.Do Not go to them.

Not a place to take your phone to get your screen fixed. Took my phone to get the screen fixed and now i can only make calls through speaker phone. Definitely not going back or recommend this place at all.

Although they are speedy, I went in to repair my cracked screen, and left with a broken ear speaker thanks to whoever was working on my phone. Had to take it back to get fixed. Received my phone back and now it lags. But many people have this complaint. Do not trust this place people!

Had been doing business at a store in McHenry. They suddenly closed up shop and still had possession of my Garmin. That store had said it was sent to an Algonquin store to be repaired as it was too difficult of a solder job for them. Was able to find this store and contact Jose. He got my Garmin back for me and it did work also. Thanks Jose. Great job.

He said he doesn’t know the condition of the phone, that it was left in at the McHenry store, and I will get back whatever condition it was left in. Keep in mind, my phone is only 3 months old and all that was wrong was the glass on the front was cracked.

This review was originally posted approx. 2 months ago on my Facebook page and, after what happened today (June 23rd), I feel the need to share on Google as well.My husband had to bring his laptop into the Algonquin store for service a couple of times (adware/spyware removal & something else) and never had any issues except that it was returned with a cracked bezel which he disregarded. We recently had to bring the laptop in as it fell and cracked the casing around the LCD screen and have had nothing but issues. First, we were quoted the wrong price by 2 people, then we found out that it was transferred up to Delavan for repair without our knowledge as they fired their tech in Algonquin, told me that they were just replacing the bezel but then when I paid for it was told that I was being charged for the bezel and housing (the tech argued that he did tell me but the clerk deducted the charge), they misplaced my charging cord so I had to wait another 2 days for them to locate it. When I opened the laptop to use it after charging it, I noticed that the cover for the camera was missing. The manager (Bob) called the tech in Delavan who apparently was upset about having to correct the issue but I was promised by Bob that they would find the piece or John (tech) could make a new cover as that was unacceptable for them to return it without the cover. This was on a Thursday and I never heard anything so I followed up on Tuesday. Jesus said hed check and call me back. He left a message saying they had 2 pieces and, if I could bring my laptop in for 2 hours, theyd get the piece on there. I returned the call and spoke to someone else who said that there were no notes in the system regarding the call (not the 1st time) so he put me on hold and connected me to Jesus. I said Id try to get in later that week but didnt come in until the next week and Jesus doesnt remember anything and said that the notes stated that they were unable to find the piece. He called John who said that he hadnt found the piece so there wasnt anything they could do. I asked Jesus to call Bob (or give me his number) to get this straightened out and he refused to do it. Jesus offered to take my number but I refused and asked that he call Bob while Im there. I said that I could not rely or depend on anyones word except for Bobs since, obviously, there is a major communication and integrity issue. He finally resigned, or so I thought and spoke to someone in the back, then returned and said that Bob would be in at 4:30pm to relieve him (why didnt Jesus know this when I asked him?) so Ill be going back to get this straightened out and NEVER, EVER will be doing business with them again!UPDATE AS OF 6/23: Bob promised to fix it and called me about 4-6 weeks ago stating that they found the part but it would take a couple weeks for them to get it in. I followed up today, spoke with Jose who was unable to locate Bob, and stated that the part was never ordered per the notes and the part is no longer available. Asked to have Bob call me back since he, obviously, blatantly lied to me. Extremely disappointed!

I keep trying to see if my phone levitate. It never does. So if you’re a clumsy fool like I am just keep their card in your wallet. Place is fast, friendly and competitive.
