Makes algonquin look bigger so that’s always appreciated

I never give a five star, but Renew on Main deserves it.* From the management to on time maintenance calls...very reliable.* They always have a great attitude and are always willing to go thatextra step for their tenants.* The amenities are nice and well kept...see online.* Last, Renew is well kept and very clean in and around the apartments.Thanks to Lisa (Community Manager) and Jose (Maintenance Manager), for making this a pleasant place to live.

I moved to ReNew on Main in mid-October this year. The reviews I saw while apartment hunting are one of the driving factors for why I chose to live at this location. With the property manager Lisa out on maternity leave I dealt with Ashley temporarily. She was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions. Even replying to e-mails on the weekend. I met Lisa on move in day and couldnt be happier with my decision. Lisa is always available for any questions and does her best to please everyone in the community. The residents are quiet and polite to one another. Jose does a wonderful job of keeping the property clean and looking its best.

Renew on Main Algonquin Illinois. I love it here. I will never move. The property manager is very friendly and attentive. Whenever my apartment needs some sort of attention, Jose is up within the hour. Its always very clean. Great amenities! 5 stars

ReNew on Main is a great place to live! Lisa the on-site manager is always in a great mood! She makes living here a pleasure! She makes you feel right at home! And not to mention, Jose in maintenance is so responsive! You want anything to be looked at in the apartment and he’s at your door before you know it!

Renew on Main has been an outstanding community to live in! Apartment was very clean, great amenities and truly felt like home. Location is ideal, easy to get to shopping and walking distance to great restaurants down the street. The people in the complex are all very friendly and Lisa is an outstanding community manager.

I first want to say that Lisa and Jose that manage the apartment building are excellent. I have lived here for three years and really like how well the building is maintained. Great Place and Great Staff make living here very nice!

I have lived here now for 4 years and can not say enough about how wonderful both Lisa and Jose have been. The professionalism that these individuals exhibit on a daily basis make living here so very pleasurable. Any problem that arises(work orders, questions, etc. that I have ever had, have always been addressed immediately. I truly enjoy living here because of the two of them. The treats during the holidays are always appreciated!!

I have been living at RENEW on Main for 2 1/2 years and it is one of the finest facilities in the Northwest suburbs. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the complex is always clean and the location is second to none. Right in the heart of beautiful downtown Algonquin. I would highly recommend RENEW on Main to anyone who is looking to move or relocate.

We have been living in this apartment more than 3 years and we are loving this place beside the nice luxury apartment but management is also amazing, The property manager Lisa is extremely hopeful and responsive. She was on pregnancy vacation and at that time this place was not the same without her, we are very happy she is back also the maintenance guy Hosey is also a great person and extremely responsive and helpful. We are loving this place and recommend others. Thank you management for bringing nice people and keeping this place crime free and trouble free.

I have nothing but good things to say about ReNew on Main. The building and amenities speak for themselves and, as others have said, the on-site staff here is top notch. They truly go the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need and that we feel at home. A big thumbs up from me.

The management and maintenance staff are absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and extremely nice. Building is very well maintained. A very nice place to live especially if you have dogs.

Moved here just as Covid was starting and I couldn’t have been happier. Lisa made the transition so easy, and Jose ensured everything was working and ready for our move. There’s a real sense of community and equality in the building. A place where neighbors look out for each other and welcome you no matter what your background is. Plus it’s pet friendly with a park right next to the building. Love it here!

My husband and i moved to renew on main after becoming empty nesters and selling our home that we had lived in for over 20 years, we never thought we would be happy living in a apartment, BUT, here we are 4 years later and we love living here! the property manager lisa is wonderful and our maintenance man jose is great !

This is a great apartment - very elegant, clean and quiet. All the residents are respectful and friendly. Lisa, the manager is fantastic! She’s super sweet and very efficient. Johnny who does maintainence is great at his job. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

After speaking with Stacy, one of the regional managers, I would like to update my review.Stacy gave me a call, after having seen my less than stellar updated review of ReNew On Main.While I appreciated Stacy taking the time out of her day to both call me, and to explain why some of the concerns I mentioned in my initial review are out of her control, I am not in any way satisfied with our interaction.After speaking with Stacy about a whole host of issues that seem to have cropped up here, of late, I received a follow up email about keeping my dog on a leash, as if I was calling her to discuss something my dog had done, that was inappropriate.That wasn’t the case. She called me to address my reasoning for having left a less than stellar review of the property. Making it seem as if this was some sort of a telephonic disciplinary hearing for me and my dog seems very strange to me.I have been less than enthused to notice that many of my neighbors are not wearing masks during a pandemic, are leaving garbage everywhere, littering cigarette butts all over the place, after smoking in their apartments and on their balconies (I have a disease that affects my lungs, and the strict no smoking policy was one of the deciding factors for me in why I moved here) during a pandemic no less, wherein viral particles can be spread from such items, not to mention the hell that cigarettes can wreak on those of us unfortunate enough to be around smokers.I have also been less than enthused at the generally negative tone management has been taking in their community emails, and the generally neglectful, if not outright negative interactions many of my neighbors and I have had with staff.I’m a friendly person, and I try to be respectful with others. I appreciate when others meet me in the middle, as most people do.I have been asking management to PLEASE stop the constant smoking in this non-smoking building since they took over here. One week, I had such an horrible allergic reaction from the old onsite maintenance guy, Jonny, smoking inside, that I almost went into anaphylactic shock. My face swelled to three times it’s size, and my eyes swelled completely shut. I couldn’t eat, and could barely drink any liquid for days.Add that to the fact that the self same maintenance guy went around saying utterly disgusting things about women, black people, and brown people on a daily basis, all while the management team acted like they just couldn’t figure out who was doing all of this indoor smoking, and you’ve got a really toxic mixture.Why am I bringing this up, you might ask, if said building maintenance man is gone? I’ll tell you. It’s because it is a matter of company culture. This management company is clearly okay with gaslighting their residents before looking after their safety.Which brings me to today.My nine month puppy, Toby, and I, were stopped on our way inside today by the temporary onsite manager, and told that “complaints” had been made against us. This happened oh so conveniently, just after a dangerous gentleman with a police record apparently got into our building last week, and threatened to harm Toby.Are you serious? Complaints have just magically manifested against my fully trained puppy, right after all of this? Either someone is heartily mistaken, someone is making purposely erroneous or misleading complaints, or management has an issue with me bringing up matters of health and safety. Guys—please—make this a safe place to live. Don’t try to nitpick and lay blame on residents for pointing out things you’re doing that could be improved. I’m just horribly disappointed with this management team right now.I can only wrack my brain so much to figure out what my now fully trained puppy might have possibly done to disturb someone. I have no idea why someone might leave such a complaint about us, if anyone in fact did, unless it was potentially to get me back for complaining about smoking, or because they aren’t a fan of having disabled, mixed women living in their midst. Disappointed.

This review is a little late, I was a new resident a few months back. I love living here!! My apartment was clean upon move in and I was able to quickly make it my own! The facilities are so clean, in great condition, and communicating with the staff is easy, and they are super helpful, especially Lisa. I have reccomended this property to my friends and family.

Modern apartment layout. Fairly affordable. Management company is very responsive and committed to happy tenants. Not a bad place to live.

I love living here. The new group is amazing. Lisa, Michelle and John are great. Renew on Main. It is very quiet and I do not hear a thing in my apartment. Good security. The residents are very nice and Nicole and Pat of Pinnacle are veru helpful and great to work with. The building is well maintained and Jose does a great job.

I recently moved in to the Riverside Plaza in Algonquin and couldnt be more pleased with my experience. The management team has handled every request promptly and is always available. My move was seamless and my neighbors are very friendly. The building is kept very clean and secure. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Had a wonderful walk through of this property given by Lisa. She really gave us great insight as to what a our life would be like living here. The Property was clean and the atmosphere felt very family friendly and safe.

Moving into ReNew on Main was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I have yet to meet a resident here that has one negative thing to say and I can’t either. I never want to leave here!!! Lisa made this move the easiest ever and I am so appreciative!!!!
