Bad situation. My flights were delayed. I arrived half hour late. Sign read, if your flights is delayed we are sorry. We are closed. We will have a car for you first thing in the morning. Youre kidding me! Half an hour late. Stuck in the middle of who knows where? I hope they give me my money back. Budget is usually good, but this place is a piece of work. Closed at nine oclock with planes still arriving!

I was given a vehicle with a broke. Windshield and expired registration, both of which gave me trouble when going onto a military installation. If it were not for the gate guard bending the rules for me, I would not have been able to do my job. They had no other vehicles. The vehicle was also dirty.When I returned my vehicle, the young man behind the counter wanted to be anywhere but there doing his job.This is a sleepy dying airport. Hertz moved out. That should say it all.
Tire kept saying they need air good service but keep up on your maintenance better
Got at the airport at 1020 after being delayed on my flight called multiple times all threw out the night to update my location due to my fight being delayed at approx 9:30 the office quit answering their phone I arrived on my flight from Houston at 10:20 promptly ran downstairs to find the office closed and myself stuck at the airport. I will be calling corporate 1st thing in the morning to give names of all employees involved and will make sure that every soldier or soldiers family that come threw this airport avoid budget rental cars at all costs.
They didnt have the vehicle I originally reserved and when I got there they told me none of the vehicles where clean so they could give me a different car. Which the vehicle was still dirty, the driver side visor mirror fell on to my face when I pulled the visor down. The entire 3days I had the vehicle I had to air up the back right tire it kept going below 30 lbs pressure and the oil needed to be changed. The vehicle was not sanitized at all and smelled like smoke. Why would they let a vehicle with these issues off the lot? None of the issues showed when I first drove the vehicle off the lot except how dirty the inside was with dirt stains and smoke smell, the farther I drove the vehicle is when the oil change light and tire light came on. I called the service desk to let them know I had to pay extra money to air up the tire the entire weekend. And the representative acted like she didnt care. Poor service and professionalism. I will not book with budget again.
Megan was amazing!! I got in very late last night and thought I had lost my rental but she was at the counter waiting for me with it ready to go :) she was so helpful and sweet. It made my night.

Had some trouble getting my rental due to a lack of clear instructions on the need for a major credit card for out of state rentals, and the car given had a bit of a smoke smell. However, the service agents were very friendly, helpful, and understanding.

Customer service was horrible. Gave me a car with wheel censor on. Said thats all they had. Gave me the key and said uts out front. Didnt even show me the car. Airport and budget counter was closed 3 days. When I returned she charged me $77. I told her no one could get to Airport and she was not open. She said too bad.
This is the third time in this location I showed up and they did not have the vehicle I ordered. In fact all they had was a down grade by two categories. Then to top it off, they could adjust the pricing from the SUV I reserved to the midsize car they gave me. So I paid twice as much for a car I would NEVER rent under any circumstance. Alexandria LA airport is by far the worst BUDGET location I have ever been to. Again, They never have my car. The last two times they closed before our plan landed at 10pm at night. So when we got off our plane, we were stuck with no car. Then when we finally got a car the next day, it wasnt the right one. Not to mention all the extra time the next day to find a ride back to the airport to pick up the car...Im a Fast Break member but about ready to look for a membership somewhere else....Oh and the car I got this time was filthy!

I had a reservation with enterprise but they did not have the vehicle I had reserved. My wife and I decided to try Budget. We had no problem getting the type of car we wanted and the price was much cheaper. Will definitely rent with Budget again in the future.
This was the easiest and the fastest car rental. The customer service that I have received, awesome. Kaitlyn was extremely helpful very knowledgeable and I am greatly appreciative for the great experience. I had a wonderful time in Alexandria and I would like to say that is because I had a very easy time renting my vehicle for travel.

Called to rent car locally at home for 4 days...when asked representative if the local office had a number...my home town!. He didnt know that! He gave me avis rental car number such a team player as I was out of town and didnt want to drive home..would not recommend these people who overcharge and mislead you.
I pre-paid $431.30 for my rental car in Alexandria, La with my Visa bank card and when I went to get my car, they kept asking me for my pin number which has NEVER happened before. When that would not go through after several attempts, they said that I had to put a major credit card on file. I also took pictures of the car all around to show the damage that was already on the car. I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO THIS WITH ANY RENTAL BEFORE LEAVING THE AIRPORT PARKING LOT!!!

Very unprofessional. I prepaid for a reservation and went to pick up the car and there was no one there but a sign with a number to call. So I called and no one answered for an hour (was dropped off so no ride at the time) finally she answered and said there were no cars for me that she would have to call when one was available. So there I was stuck. Well called customer service and they offered me discount for next day pick up. Exact same thing next day happened!! I will contact corporate today! Very poor service and poor management! Why reserve a car and say you have one if you don’t?!!

Vehicles were available for one way rental and it was a easy process on renting the car.
Everything ok. Very good advice from your local representative. I suggest that since some cars come with remote keys and others have physical keys, thus you should inform client which they have. I also suggest informing where the gas door release is. Sometimes they are hard to find.
After she finally decided to let us know that they actually had something, just not what we were looking for available, I asked her about online pricing. We had a previous reservation that wasnt fulfilled, she said that she could pull it up once the reservation was made. I told her that I would be renting and adding a driver, she said ok and asked I would be using debit or credit. I made the reservation, go up to pay and she says the added driver needs a credit card too and since he didnt I couldnt add him, which means I couldnt rent. She then told me that I could get a refund, but she couldnt do it and to call customer service.
My car engine light came on. So I went to exchange it and was told no. I was told It probably just needs a oil change and that there where no other cars available to exchange either way. And so I told them what about the full parking lot out side with cars and was told no those where for other people. Sadly my safety was not a big concern for them.
The staff was top notch, the company itself horrible. The payment center terrible.

Only getting two stars since the lady who gave me the car was super nice and very helpful. I checked my credit card today (two days later) and was charged a late fee for no reason. I returned the car at 5am and I had all the way till 3pm to return the car so in fact I was super early. I then called Budget customer service and he in fact seen that I got charged a $20 late fee for no reason. Now I have to wait 2-3 business days to receive the money owed back to me. Make sure you check your charges everyone!!! They are probably trying to get some extra money from people not paying attention.
Made us cancel our reservation because my flight got delayed several times. No cars left stranded my handicap uncle 90 year old grandmother and my mother at the airport from 11pm to 8 a.m until car was available and new reservation was made. Would not recommend at all

This is a crooked company that will charge your credit card after the fact for all sorts of fees that you did not agree to. I was charged $47 for an upgrade fee after they gave away my PREPAID car and only the upgrade vehicle was available. I was told that the vehicle would only cost me $0.06 more than what I already paid. I have submitted copies of the rental agreement showing I only owed $0.06 to the company with no avail. I WILL be disputing the charges with my credit card. They are dishonest and charging my card without my permission is theft. Plain and simple.
The car was filthy inside and out and someone previously smoked heavily in it. No other vehicles were available and I was given the vehicle as is. Very uncomfortable use.
I booked a pre-paid reservation online for a 9:00pm pickup time. The business closing time is advertised to be 9:30pm. I arrived at the desk at approximately 9:05pm to get the vehicle to find that the business was closed. I called the after hours service and it was absolutely no help at all! When I arrived the next day the attendant lied to me saying that she didnt leave until 9:10pm which still is prior to the advertised closing time. I shouldve been called if the site was planning on closing early as my reservation was already booked and pre-paid!! When I asked if there was going to be any compensation to cover my 45 min trip each way (1-1/2hr total) both she and the after hours service told me that there was nothing that they could do!!! I will also add that Im a new business customer which apparently doesnt matter either...

The employee was just about to lock up and our plane was delayed in Dallas to Alexandria airport and I had minutes and was running to meet Budget rent my car because it was late night and he was kind enough to pull up my reservation and give me my key so I could get on my way to Opelousas and attend my family reunions the following day so to the employee who worked on the evening of October 23rd thank you
OMG, Kaitlin is a lifesaver! My vehicle broke down on me last night November 22, in Leesville, la and although I had a rental car reserved with the Enterprise in Leesville, when I called them for a pick up I was told that they did not have any vehicles available. I was stranded. Luckily I had a friend pick me up to take me home on post. Once again I called Enterprise in Leesville November 23, about a vehicle which was reserved again for todays pick up and the guy on the phone was unprofessional and could care less about my situation and told me that they did not have any cars and would call if someone would be returning a vehicle. I told him that they should update their site and not lead customers on to think that they have a vehicle reserved if they really dont. Now Im worried and dont know what to do. I called Budget and talk to Kaitlin who was SO FRIENDLY and professional. She was understanding and empathetic to my situation and did everything she could to help. I can say that I am at ease now and I have a rental car now to shuttle myself back and forth to work while my car is in the shop. Kaitlin knew how important it was for military members to be able to have a car because of our various schedules. I took a cab from leesville to the Alexandria airport and was greeted and taken care of thanks to her. So THANK YOU Kaitlin very much for all your help!
I was not told that the van I rented miles wasnt unlimited out of all the cars I rented from u wen I turned it bck in I had to pay 700 more dollars because yall fail to tell me I had to pay for the mileage on the van I felt that was unprofessional thank u

The price promised for the rental was not what I had to pay. In the midst of a disaster and having unexpected expenses. This is not the way to handle business. You dont get to speak with a person that speaks very good English.
The staff really likes to give customers the run around. Not really friendly and doesnt really work with customers, especially over the phone.I had gotten delayed and knew I wasnt going to be able to get to Alexandria on time so I tried to contact the staff and coordinate a possible change in my travel plans and see if they can hold my reservation an extra day. They told me they could not do anything about it and to take it up with the company that handled my booking. Great.So I contacted my booking company and they said usually the car rental offices and hotels are usually understanding and will work with customers so the information I received is pretty unusual. Regardless, I made it to Alexandria and luckily, someone had just dropped a car. I asked if it was possible to do a free upgrade with a voucher I had received because Im a government employee and had to move equipment. I received the stink eye and was asked, what kind of equipment do you have to move? Got upgraded from a compact sedan to a midsize sedan (even though there were other vehicles in the lot that definitely could have assisted me at my destination).Bottom line upfront, I had a short and less than remarkable trip, and had to drop off the key to a staff-less desk due to the time of my flight. I accidentally dropped my rental agreement in with the key and the booklet needed into the drop-off box.Because Im a government employee, I needed a copy of my receipt right away and called the office (who did not answer my call until after 10 A.M. (11 A.M. E.S.T. ). They gave me a 1-800 number to get that information. I called and the 1-800 number could not find me in the database and told me to call the budget office directly. I called back but rather than try and assist me, they said they couldnt do anything without the confirmation number, told me they had a line, and immediately put me on hold.Overall the experience was horrendous. The airlines, T.S.A. in AEX, this rental company, it was all terrible.

I reserved a compact car on the Internet and everything was all set for me to pick up the next day. When I got there they said they had no cars and just allowed me to make the reservations and drive all the way over there for nothing! According to the employee, their policy is to just have people willy nilly make reservations on the Internet even though they have no cars available. I desperately needed a rental car for work and was counting on getting one here. There was a minivan available, but it would cost more. I will never go back there again--a complete waste of time! No sympathy from the employee at the desk. She sent me down the street to another car rental.
Since Ive been back the business been fine everything worked out as it should the workers was courteous nice friendly I highly recommend this rental car company to those who travel about the country
I booked a car only to find that this location overbooked and they tell me that most of their cars have been recalled for issues. Now I’m waiting because all the other car rentals have sold out.
