I have utilized ServiceMaster of the Lakes Area located in Alexandria MN on several occasions. They have performed regular carpet cleaning for me at my main residence. They have always been punctual and have performed an excellent job on cleaning the carpets...even stains that I never thought would come out.In addition, I have had the unfortunate occurrence of having a fire damage including water damage associated with the fire. From the initial call to completion, ServiceMaster kept me in the loop, communicated and worked with my insurance company (which isnt always easy), worked with my contractor, and performed the work in a professional manner. Having a fire is a traumatic event that I dont wish upon my worst enemy. Im just glad that ServiceMaster was there to make thing go as smoothly as possible and get my home back to pre-loss condition under unfortunate circumstances. I would highly recommend ServiceMaster of Alexandria.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars because the professionalism and actual work they completed were terrible! I had a house fire in February 2020 and Servicemaster appeared a couple of days after the fire and then very sporadically thereafter. Things were not being completed in a timely manner so both me and my insurance adjuster tried many times to get a hold of the owner with no luck for 5 months! Also, we were charged for things that were not actually done that we ended up cleaning ourselves! For example, they claim to have cleaned the upstairs and downstairs walls as well as the carpet (which was later removed). My father had swiped his hand on the walls after they supposedly cleaned them and his hand was as black as the ace of spade! The walls downstairs were not even affected as the fire was primarily in the ceiling of the house. As for the carpet, we were told that they had cleaned them. That night, my daughter inspected the carpet and they werent cleaned at all! There were spots that would have easily been removed with professional cleaning but there was literally no change. It appeared as if they just sprayed a tiny bit of water on the carpet and called it good (no scrubbing marks at all, I asked our contractor as well as our flooring expert who both said the carpet was not cleaned at all). These were just a few of the items that were supposedly completed but werent. It took us over 5 months to finally talk to the owner who was not apologetic at all for the poor service and quality. Will I ever recommend Servicemaster? NO WAY! You are better off paying a little more for better customer service.

I’ve used them on two occasions for water damage cleanup, I wouldn’t hire anyone else. They are straightforward, fast, and take care their customers.

I cant speak highly enough of these guys - we had our sump pump fail, and Matt came out at 10:30 p.m. and worked until after midnight to get things cleaned up and explain everything he was doing, so we clearly understand how things would work with our insurance billing. They also Scotchguarded my furniture when I got it, and again, did a great job explaining what they were doing and why it was important.

We hired Service Master to clean our carpets in our house. They did an excellent job. There was one spot that appeared the following day, but the Service Master technician came back 2 more times to make sure the spot got removed. Very good experience with these guys. They are honest and hard working.

Pulled into the parking lot to finish a phone call with one of my customers. The lady came out and said parking was reserved for customers only even though there were five other spots sitting in front of the building open. She was an older lady in her fifties-sixties and extremely rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
