Great people who are great at their job. Made a hard situation very easy and pleasant!
I tried to make new patient appointments for myself and both my daughters and right from the get go I should have known better. I was told they could only schedule 2 appointments at a time. We needed our 6 month check ups and I expected that a cleaning would be included (it always has been at any other check up). The appointments started out pretty good the staff was very friendly and pleasant, but it didnt take long for my visit your start going down hill. We started out with x-rays, lots of x-rays for myself, my daughter had a few also, just not as many as me (because of her age). We were put in a room together and when the dentist came in he pretty much started pointing out any and everything that was wrong with my teeth and then my daughter got in the chair and it was basically the same thing with her. Then the hygienist came in and kinda reiterated everything the dentist said, and came up with a VERY expensive treatment plan and ushered us off to the receptionist up front to go over the prices. When I asked about our cleaning I was told it was to close to closing time and they couldnt do the cleanings.I expressed to the dentist I had a couple of problem teeth but I dont feel like he was concerned with helping me get my problems fixed and was more concerned about selling me all kinds of other stuff. The receptionist acted completely annoyed when I tried to ask questions and figure out what exactly they were doing and trying to charge me for, she kept looking at her watch, I suppose because it was so close to closing time.I completely felt like this place is just trying to sell me something and not genuinely concerned about my oral health. Its like you are rushed in and rushed out.Its very frustrating to take a day off work to do something like this and get absolutely nothing accomplished and in the end they had me completely overwhelmed with a more than $5,000.00 treatment plan and I still didnt get my cleaning and neither did my daughter.I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone, save yourself time and money and go somewhere else!!
Took 2 hours just for a cleaning. Tried to up sale everything. You really need to be firm with them in order to just receive what your insurance covers. Try to use scare tactics to get you to buy things you dont need. Went to a different dentist later and said my teeth were completely fine. Definitely would not recommend.
Today I had my first initial visit and the staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Heather gave me a very detailed description on fee’s, what service included, and helped me work around my tough schedule. Chrissy was my hygienist and kept me updated on everything she did and made me feel completely comfortable and well taken care. I would recommend this office and dr and look forward to my next few appointment. They made what I thought would be a terrible appointment really fun and exciting.
My spouse went to see about a crown on a tooth a different Aspen location filled poorly a few years ago. They have her an estimate around $1,500.Another highly rated local dentist has quoted us less than $1,200. Its worth mentioning that $1,100 is roughly the national average for a crown. In the past Aspen has done pretty good work for us, but their inflated pricing and pushy sales approach will prevent us from using them in thefuture.3 stars because previous experiences were good.
As always excellent customer service and care! Easy healing, very knowledgeable staff and doctors, and very helpful to fix any issues. Highly recommend and will keep coming back! Cant say enough praise for this office. Thanks guys my fiancées smile looks amazing!
Dr Johns and his staff are amazing. From the minute he walks through the door he does everything in his power to make sure you are comfortable, and that he gets your problem addressed quickly, and efficiently. I only lack getting my new teeth adjusted right and this will be a perfect experience. I would highly suggest Aspen Dental in Alcoa TN.
I had a tooth that came loose on my partial and just needed it reattached. Aspen wouldn’t even see me without doing X-rays and looking at my teeth for which they could charge to my insurance. I told them up front what I wanted, that I knew what they would find and what their recommendation would be. I made it perfectly clear I just wasn’t interested and was just biding my time until I could afford dentures. I had been thru all this before and knew they would want to “set me up” with a deep cleaning and scaling then a “maintenance plan” every 3 to 4 months, all which was more than I could afford. They completely ignored everything I said and I had to listen to the dentist go on about how negatively dentures would affect my “quality of life”. I finally made it out to the receptionist who told me the dentist had come up with 2 different treatment plans and seemed shocked when I told her JUST WANTED MY PARTIAL FIXED. I was the one that was shocked when she told me the price to repair my partial and surprise, surprise, she was able to give me a “discount”. This is the most over-priced, money hungry business I’ve dealt with and I definitely won’t go back. If you’re looking for someone who will treat you with respect as an individual and work with you to create a plan that cares for your teeth within your budget look elsewhere. I ALMOST feel bad for the employees as they must be under a lot of pressure to push the more expensive procedures and especially the repetitive ones. My advice: find another job with a company that has some morals. You’ll be happier in the long run.
My wife was seen for a cleaning. Didnt get her cleaning, but was told all of the things that were wrong with her teeth. Just so you know, my wife has never had a cavity. They stated she had periodontal disease and a cavity. My wife was very devastated. She has always taken special care of her teeth. I told her to get a second opinion. I found another highly rated dentist in the area. Had the x-rays sent over to them and my wife just finished her appointment. There was no cavity, no periodontal disease, no problems at all. Plus she got her cleaning. When a family dentist is run like a profiteering business, they nonlinear serve the family. I am quite angry about how they tried to mislead my wife in order to make money off her. Only advise I would give is to always get a second opinion.
Let me save you some time, KNOX COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TEAGUE CLINIC $20-$60, full numbing zero pain excellent experience - tooth extractionCame in for a 20min tooth extraction exam. Stayed for 1 and a half hours to be giving a 3k bill to think about, and a very embarrassing exam that went over all of my teeth, when all I needed was a dentist to look at one tooth with a mirror and give a quote (or talk) from there. After the very long exam I didnt come there for, I explained to the dentist, John Thomas Notarianni, that I could ONLY pay for the exam today, and not any treatments, the dentist John Thomas Notarinianni immediately treated me as not being human anymore, and left the room quicker than he could get his final words out of his mouth. Literally spoke in one fluent breath fast as f#$&, and was gone, it was mind blowing lol.Very weird procedures practiced here and very expensive. Claimed to tailor costs to your income, but the financial lady seemed to be giving base line quotes no matter the case. Would advise to avoid unless your above average wealth and want to pay to be treated as human.- A tooth extraction here is $285- Periodontal maintenance procedures + gingival irrigation per quadrant (x4) is $1691- An oral ID visit is $279- Composite 1 surface posterior B & O is $568Theres about $400 left that sums up to a bunch of cheap procedures (varying from $17-$48) that arnt worth breaking down but the sum is almost $3000.I paid $20 to find out that information I guess, but thats not what I came there for. It was an embarrassing experience, especially the practitioners laughing in the nearby rooms, and sudden change in treatment.Already have found a better place for the tooth extraction, let me save you some time, KNOX COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TEAGUE CLINIC $20-$60, full numbing zero pain excellent experience.
The LC office squeezed me in on a saturday due to a chipped tooth & even made time to take care of my 6-month cleaning! everyone was fabulous & friendly to my fiancé & me. thank you!
Everyone was really nice and very helpful in explaining my choices but letting me decide the package I wanted .
Friendly people and clean professional office but dang the price. Im aware that I need quiet a bit done with my teeth but how you can say with a straight face that the amount to fix everything is almost more than manys college debt. The sales pitch to make me feel confident again with my smile was a hit to my gut because I know I have teeth problems. But to show me that price when all I made an appointment for was an absess tooth that needed to pulled and a few others taken out because I have unbearable pain. My recommendation for this place is maybe get the client in the door for what they need done first before you tell them everything that is wrong and hit them with college level debt if they want to look and chew normally again. But over all for a client its a nice quick place that does have what you need to help you if you need it.
My first visit was very pleasant. The details to my problem areas were explained clearly. I appreciate their instructions on how to improve my problem areas. They were professional and caring.
Everything went well but there was an hours delay in starting procedure. I felt someone should have called to let me know the delay on picking him up..
These dentures are horrible 😫 I thought I would get the same satisfaction I recieved with my first set from the knoxville branch on Kingston pike years ago But not happening now Im out of insurance and not at all happy and stuck I feel, and dont know what to do next, tired of crying when I look at my teeth
This was my 1st appointment with Aspen Dental Alcoa TN. Im Very happy with everything from walking in for appt. to leaving! Everyone was so nice and helpful from the smiles on their faces to making sure I was aware of what they did from start to finish. My experience (tho Im nervous at Drs period) went really good. Special thanks to Dr John, Chrissy, Joni and Ashley. For allaying all my fears and concerns!THANK YOUJudy Gladden
Very happy with as pen dental, they explained everything so it was understandable. Would recommend them.
All personal very upbeat and professional at there job. I was self-employed my self and I know that the tools you have reflects in the performance you can perform. This is not one or two people multitasking, there is a specialized person for each task. I went for a cavity, and found I had much greater ptoblems at hand. After consultation I know I had to act, not latter but now. I had my yearly physical a mount be for and doc told me to see a dentist. He told me how it could affect many parts of my body and could even lead to death. I like to hook around at apointments but found this was not a hooking matter.Upon the completion of exam the cost was descusd, I was asked if I had insurance, my reply no. They offer a discount if you do not and payment plans. I go back in two days and I will tell them I,e thought it over and In ready to start and trust them ad out what need. I will let you know as it goes along, but I,m sure it will be top notchJ Clark. 4/17/21
All staff performed exceptionally well at their jobs, were polite and friendly, listened and made sure there was no pain. The facility was perfectly clean everywhere as well.Best wisdom teeth extraction Ive had
Went here to get teeth cleaned and have a check up. I knew I had adleast one cavity but they told me I had 13. I went and got a second opinion. Come to find out I only have 2 cavities and one is really minor. When they told me i had 13 cavities i felt like they where trying to scare me so I wouldnt get second opinion but im really glad I did. This place tries to rip people off by scaring them into thinking more is wrong than actually is. I would highly recommend everyone avoid this place or at the very least get a second opinion before you let them do work.
This is a business not a family dentist. I was looking for a new dentist who would seem to care about me and my oral health. I wanted a cleaning and my annual exam. I wasted an hour and a half getting exrays and a was told I needed a $650 procedure and that my insurance would not pay for cleanings when in fact I can get 4 a year. I am mad as hell and will go out of my way to let everyone know not to go to this clip joint. And I am sorry they were able to bill my insurance for this so called exam.
I absolutely loved this place. Gotta say, this was the best experience I could have had at a dentist. Finally!I was greeted very pleasantly and professionally, Everyone I dealt with wanted to make sure I was comfortable. And for once, focused on what I wanted done and didnt try to force anything extra on me which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely go back here for all my future dental needs. Thank you.
I went to Aspen dental for my first dentist appointment since I moved to Maryville and they were very professional and time considerate. I look forward to using them in the future.
They treated me bad like I didnt have any money since I didnt have insurance.they made fun of my teeth.even though I was going to make payment.they was very rude and I will never go back.ii will find a more experience dentist.
Ive had to go to aspen quite a bit recently and have mostly worked with Dr Tran. She is amazing! The best dentist Ive ever had and I couldnt imagine having a different one now. Highly recommend.
I had an Amazing Experience at Aspen Dental, Alcoa Tn office. The entire staff were very helpful, professional, kind, understanding and you can just feel God working in this office. What a Blessing to have such a wonderful staff, they make you feel right at home. Thank You ❤️
The horror stories you read online are true. While the dentist, assistants, and hygienist were all sweet, the practice itself is all about sales. I went in for a zoom teeth whitening, and left with a recommended Dental Plan for 4 deep cleanings that was going to cost me 2000 out of my pocket. After insurance... And I have great health/dental insurance. When I said no way, Ive never had to pay anything out of my pocket for cleanings etc They magically re ran the numbers and said, OK... Now its 450. Hard pass. Felt like I was sitting down with a timeshare salesman. This place is a scam, all about the sales and trying to make the almighty dollar.... Find another dentist.
Awesome staff and very professional and personable as well.
When I pay 10 grand to get dentures I should at least get to pick what music is playing and not be disrespected by the assistant helping the dentist. Or accused of being high by the same Assistant. Everyone else was super nice
My experience at Aspen Dental was excellent. They did my oral exam and x-rays, in preparation for oral surgery. I recommend that you give them a try!
Every time I visit this office I always feel so welcome and comfortable. They’ve helped me get over my extreme dentist anxiety with their patience and understanding. The hygienist is amazing, knowledgeable, and doesn’t tear you down for not taking care of yourself, but instead gives you advice on how you can do better. I haven’t met the new dentist yet, but I’m excited for my next visit.
Very satisfied with my care
Best dentists ever. Took amazing care of my teenage daughter. Made her feel so comfortable and took care of her issues.
This company attempted to rip off my college age daughter. Tried to talk her into all kinda of things after she was back in the chair. She called me about what they were doing and I immediately rushed down there, got my daughter out of that place. STAY away!!!!!
The dentist Dr Tran was absolutely the nicest and most pleasant person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was very professional and informative. I have all intentions of continuing my dental experiences with this woman.
I got the worst treatment by them, so rude and uncaring. When you go in a dentist office you expect to be treated fairly and with care, this was the most money hungry office I have ever been to and was treated so poorly that I am ashamed to have to go to get dental work. I regret going to a consultation at Aspen Dental the Alcoa TN location to be specific. I hope that they gain more empathy as their dental careers continue.
Nice office, friendly staff, convenient. Would recommend.
The fast food of dental care.
After visiting another dentist I realized just how bad this place is. They are all about sales and trying to scare you into stuff you dont need. They try to make you pay up front for OPTIONAL services like flouride treatments, making it seem like you have a balance after insurance, but you dont HAVE to do anything other than receive a cleaning.
Friendly staff, great service & care
One of our best experiences ever.Very professional and friendly staff.Took their time during our visit.Gave us several different opinions. On what was needed to maintaingood Dental Health care. Also went over all cost up front. And gave us different opinions toPay for the procedure if you didnthave Dental Insurance.A+++, Easley ( 5 ) ***** Star Experience. And no when we went in the doors at your AlcoaTennessee location We didnt know anyoneThat worked here and /or any of Aspen Dentaloffices .If you were wondering. 😆Sincerely, Mike & Tina McReynoldsAlcoa Tennessee
They are very helpful. Aspen dental uses updated technology, much easier very friendly and helpful explaining everything that they are doing . I would recommend Aspen dental to anyone. Thank you.
Dr. Tran is awesome! She made sure I was comfortable and was very caring. Her experience shows in her knowledge, Efficiency and the quality of care she provides.-Kim Martin
What others have said about poor service is absolutely the truth! The staff is lovely, but the business is all about sales. No matter how many times I told them I didnt want any services not covered by my insurance, they always found a way to slip something in. Not to mention, I went in for a scheduled filling only to be told they couldnt do it and would either need to do an implant ($$$!) Or an extraction. I chose the extraction after much debate, but that was completely botched. Nearly 2 hours of trying to pull a tooth and only succeeding in breaking off pieces sent me to an oral surgeon the next day. AND they tried to charge me more than $600 over what they quoted me that day. I will never, ever go back there. Once I got my accounts settled, I was done!
I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, as Im sure a lot of people do. The wonderful people at Aspen made me feel very relaxed and reasured. For the first time ever, Im not dreding going back ☺️ Thank you ladies so much!!
It was a very good experience with the personnel and technician for everyone that was involved office manager and all was a great experience thank you Aspen.
Aspen was very helpful and friendly. My dental work was completed timely and with good results.
Excellent from the first phone call, all the way through whole process. The understood my needs and surpassed my expectations. Thanks to the whole staff!!!
Awful experience! Went in for a toothache and all they wanted to talk about was pulling all my teeth and giving me dentures. Wouldnt even entertain the idea of giving me antibiotics
They was very nice and they was very quick to get me a appointment to get what I needed done fast
I truly had a great experience here, I have dental anxiety from ptsd of my childhood dentist office and the whole staff here was amazing and helped me cope with it as they were working. They made sure I was comfortable at all times and made sure to continue checking on me. I had a tooth extracted and felt absolutely nothing, Dr. Ali was amazing! So sweet and made you feel very welcomed! By far the best dental experience I’ve had!
Everyone was caring, polite, and knowledgeable . I really enjoyed my visit
Dr. Ali, Amanda K., and team were amazing! Ive had issues with numbing agents before and they took every precaution to ensure I was comfortable and not in any pain at all. They took the time to walk me through every step and made the experience as pleasant as could be. Weve got a solid treatment plan outlined now and Im actually looking forward to coming back in and getting my smile in great shape. Thank you, Aspen Dental Alcoa!
Friendly and knowledgeable group that made my first dental visit in years pleasant. Highly recommend.
The young dentist that saw me for a consultation belittled and embarrassed me to tears. He was literally scoffing in annoyance while checking my teeth. I have old fillings that need to be replaced but I havent been able to afford dental insurance for years. I ate poorly as a child and unfortunately my teeth have paid the price. I do everything I can to eat healthy now but the damage is done. I was lectured like a child who misbehaved. He seemed annoyed and offended. I will never go back. Im really reluctant to visit other dentists now that I have insurance for fear of this happening again. On a good note Dr. Ali was attentive and kind on my second visit.
Aspen Dental has always done a good job for me. They are very thorough and don’t rush you through. First time I went to them they saw I had serious gum disease and scaled my teeth. Put 10 shots of antibiotics in my mouth over two visits, filled in 3 very receded teeth. I had been going to the dentist regularly for many years and none of this was ever mentioned. All they wanted to do was a crown or root canal for 2 or 3 thousand dollars. My gums really hurt and they would look for cavities to fill but had never heard the word scaling until Aspen. I stayed sick all the time and had a broken down immune system and could never get over anything. I am so very thankful for Aspen for getting my gums healthy. I highly recommend them. Very blessed to have changed to them.
Everyone at this office was exceptionally friendly. I was taken back to the exam room when it was my appointment time. I didnt have to wait to see Dr Alli. The dentist was very friendly and informative. She made sure I was comfortable through the entire procedure. I would be more than happy to recommend this office for your dental needs.
Be careful when you choose Aspen that you know ALL the details because my experience has been awful.I needed a new denture when my old one broke, which, of course, they could not ( more likely would not), repair. After my initial exam I was informed it would be a month before I would have new dentures. I was deeply disappointed, but went ahead with my treatment plan. I was given a total amount for this after insurance and we arranged financing. The next visit I was hit with money due, even tho i was told the insurance and finance company took care of all of it. I contested and they then stated, this is an error. But then they wanted me to sign yet another consent to treat with a new total which exceeded our original signed agreement by nearly $1000! I refused to sign and they said they would open a ticket for it.When the day finally arrived for my extractions I was nervous, but ready for my dentures which I was to receive that day. The dentists’ demeanor was less than pleasant and the experience during and after was unconscionable. I informed them I would need antibiotics for after but these were not included. We were charged additional money for an extraction, and they were not very professional or helpful.Tat night I had to remove the dentures because the bleeding was not stopping, but I was later able to reinsert them with much pain. Over night my pain increased and the swelling was getting worse in spite of nearly constant icing, salt water rinsing and this was bringing unbearable pain. I phoned the dentist and the 800 emergency number 6 times, I phoned he office twice. 8 hours passed before I received a return call. Oh and it goes on to get worse with mistakes concerning medication, and unsigned prescriptions. My recommendation...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Dr.Ali and her staff were amazing. I am sincerely happy that I chose them. I had 3 teeth extracted by Dr. Ali and she was assisted by Amanda K. I have already recommended them to family members and will continue to recommend them to others.
Horrible service. Waited 2 hours and when the dentist came in and I told her it was ridiculous how long it was, she walked out and we were ask to leave.Do not recommend.
Kimberly the assistant was really nice and courteous. Dr. Ali was amazing as always. They both really made the procedure I had done much easier to deal with, made the entire experience as painless as possible. Im very thankful to them and Aspen Dental as well.
Had an amazing experience at Aspen Dental and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of Dental services. Was in an extreme amount of pain due to a cracked and infected tooth and Dr. Ali and her staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of promptly. Have a lot more work to be done and will definitely be going back to Aspen to have all further procedures taken care of.
As a former Dental Assistant of 20yrs this office Rocks, from the moment I walked threw the door everyone made you feel welcome was helpful with check in, everyone I encountered was awesome,, Big Shout out to Dr Tran Thank you,I highly recommend this office to anyone,Thank you, to the whole staff, Keep Rocking 🤓
Had 3 three visits with Aspen one in maryville and 2 in Knoxville Chapman hwy, each time personnel paperwork issues have come up. Routine cleaning which is free with my health care took 8-10 months to clear up and remove bill. Then made an appointment with Chapman hwy and they had me registered to go maryville had to reschedule. Yesterday had appointment for cleaning and filling replacement show up and they left off the filling had to reschedule. I will say that the office environment, staff are really friendly and entertaining also helpful on questions. I just hate how they handle paperwork all around
Very nice dentist and staff.felt well cared for.no more pain.
Everyone was very friendly and informative. They gave me all the options, their equipment was very impressive, using the latest technology.
I was very impressed with my first visit. Staff was friendly. My exam was easy. Everything was explained and easy to understand. The only reason I didnt give this a 5 star, is I havent had the actual dental work yet. I will know how that goes in a week and a half.
Ive been coming here for a few months now and the staff always takes good care of me and are always very friendly Im have always had a fear of the dentist the staff here always put my fear at ease
The staff is kind, helpful, and very good at what they do. The office is quite, clean, tastefully decorated, and has a comfortable feel as opposed to a typical cold, sterile medical office. The equipment is modern and meticulously maintained. They explain everything & get it done quickly & painlessly. They also are knowledgeable about insurance and health savings account. The entire experience was fantastic. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
The entire staff was exceptionally great. This was my first time here. They ended up having to pull 3 teeth and they took really good care of me. I will be back and I will recommend Aspen Dental
So I was not a patient of Aspen Dentals but yet they got me an emergency to fix my broken Dentures which I am grateful for it because the place where I was going was not open. They got me an appt within a day. I am very happy. Thanks for the quick response.
Great experience. Dr. Ali and her staff were very professional and friendly, and go out of their way to make you comfortable. My teeth were in pretty bad shape from old metal fillings breaking and falling out. They got the worst ones fixed up and I will be returning to get the rest taken care of. I still have some work to get done but I feel like I can smile again.
Went in for a really bad tooth pain and Ended up needing an extraction and Possible root canal on another. I sat down with the plan coordinator Mandy to discuss pricing. I did not have insurance so the price wasnt going to be low. She sat and went over several options for me to get what I needed done in my budget She waited a Long time and had the most patience with me while I was trying to figure out how to get this done with in my budget. She found an option for me to be able to pay around my budget and get the Care I needed THE SAME DAY. I Was so grateful for her. After I was put in a room to get started the hygienist Chrissy was super sweet made sure I was comfortable and Numb before we started as well as another Employee. Dr Ali and Samantha went to work and took care of me making sure I was in no pain went over everything that I would have to do after the extraction and made me feel comfortable. My teeth werent the easiest to get out but they did it fast and I didnt feel anything. Dr Ali then went over long term options that I had to do in order to keep my teeth and smile how I wanted it. Samantha cleaned me up and Made sure everything was perfect before I left. I will be returning to this office
They are very thorough but I think they try to sell too many services to raise prices. I was also upset they wouldnt do the ONE cavity I had without doing all the other stuff they recommended costing nearly $3000. Too expensive for me.
I explained in detail while booking the appointment why my husband with Parkinsons and Dementia could not sit for hours waiting. Why he could not have more than three teeth pulled at a time. We get there and wait over an hour before the dentist came in. Then tells us IF we want anything done we have to wait again to speak with the accountant to discuss pricing. So no I do. NOT recommend this guy. The staff were all nice and polite. But the dentist didnt want to listen to our needs
From the second I stepped foot in Aspen Dental and saw Caitlin I knew I was in good hands. So helpful and kind.Kim,g the office manager, gave me a bunch of resources to get help finding the financial help to get better. She really took a lot of time and energy to help me.Ive began writing and erased a few times to try to find the right words to express my gratitude for Dr. Ali. Her compassion and genuine friendliness put my mind at ease. I can only tell you that with all the corruption in the medical industry and big pharma, this office is still in the business of healing and repairing.Im so lucky to have found this place and I really pray that whoever reads this makes the decision to go.
I went to Aspen Dental on a Friday morning with no appointment and severe tooth pain. The staff was awesome and got me in as soon as possible. I Highly recommend Aspen Dental
Dr. Spurgeon and his assistant Tequila were very professional and very very considerate of my needs. I would recommend this Aspen Dental along with Dr. J. Spurgeon and his assistant Tequila and the office staff to everyone. I was taken care of very well having the pain that I came in with and left there a brand new man. Thank you Aspen Dental.Barry Thompson
I had a excellent experience there. The Dr took really good care of me. The technician were awesome
I had heard many bad and negative things about Aspen dental but despite that, I decided to give them a try. I still an in need of a lot of dental work and Ive been a patient of Aspen dental since June of 2019. I have also been making monthly payments and absolutely nothing has been done to my teeth. Not only were all the horror stories true but much worse. I dont have the luxury of going elsewhere and being able to finance all I need done, so thats where they have gotten me good. Im still waiting for them to get it together and get this done. A timely manner is out of the question at this point, so I can only hope to get it done at all. I dont recommended this company to anyone wanting quality dental care.
They were very professional, and I enjoyed my visit.
Everyone saw me in a pretty much timely manner. The dentist I saw was very good on explaining what was going on with my teeth. The only complaint I have is I had to wait to schedule an appointment when I tried to call back, you cant talk to a real person and no one called me back after leaving several messages. If they could get that under control, I believe Id give them a higher rating.
From the receptionist to the office manager to the dental hygienists to the dentist (Dr. Adams) my experience has been very positive. Very professional and courteous. Had not been to a dentist in over 35 years and had to have several extractions and dentures. Every visit has gone very well . I didnt know Dr. Adams before starting to go Aspen and I feel like I lucked out. His chair side manner is great. He does a great job of making it as pain free as possible. Actually I never felt any real pain just slight discomfort thats unavoidable when getting 6 and 7 extractions at a time. Its easy to tell that he knows what hes doing and does it with compassion. All of the Hygienists were very professional and nice. I had some issues arise with my insurance and Samantha the office manager was very helpful, and its also nice if you are having some kind of billing issue that the person you are dealing with is nice and courteous and she is.
The first concern for anyone seeing a dentist is that your dentist should actually see you twice per year. Aspen only does this one time per year and in the few years I have been there I don’t think I have seen the same dentist twice. I recently went in for a normal teeth cleaning and annual X-rays and was told I had mild to moderate gum disease on not one or two but 12 teeth. I found this amazing since my previous check up 6 months prior was totally fine. They then told me it would cost $1290.00 to have a special treatment done. I left without having the service. I plan on finding another dentist.
Very nice and helpful but you always have to wait for about 30 mins
I was visiting my parents for a week out in Alcoa (Im from CO) when my molar started killing me. I couldnt wait to have it checked out when I got home, so I looked around and Aspen Dental seemed to have the best reviews and it was close.I was able to get it the same day and I was able to work with Samantha on the cost. It was very reasonable, and even though I had to get the tooth pulled, I appreciated everyones hospitality. I wish they were my regular dental office at home!
This is the only dentist office I have ever been in that I actually feel comfortable. Dr. Ali and her team are awesome!
HOLY COW, where do I begin? I HATE TO GO TO THE DENTIST it SCARES me to death! I seriously break out in hives and physically get sick to my stomach. My first time going I seen Dr. Ali. I was scared to death, I was shacking so badly the chair started shacking. She was so AWESOME she talked to me like I was a friend not apart of her pay check. By the time I left I was so calm and was excited about the my next visit. Two months later I went back and had some intense work done. When I walked in the ladies at the front desk called me by name and asked me how I was doing. Sam IS WONDERFUL! She works with you and makes sure you will get the care you need and little sweet Makayla she goes way and beyond to make sure your needs are met.If youre looking for good dental care Aspen Dental in Alcoa is the place to go. Higher than most.have insurance.only options dentures.not interested in the poor
My first visit to Aspen Dental was amazing. The staff were very professional and in no time I had a dental plan to address the problems Ive been having for a long time. It was an awesome experience.who says going to the dentist is a nightmare, it was more likea pleasant dream. Thanks Staff at Aspen in Alcoa, TN.
They dont care about the customer. They try and up sell you and also put the blame on the customer when they were in the wrong. Long story to write but very unpleasant. Also made an appointment for 915 and didnt get helped until 10ish. Whats the point of an appointment if you cant honor the time. Highly recommend going to a family business, cheaper prices and also help you on the time you make
Not impressed. Went in for exam and cleaning. Instead no cleaning and a treatment plan over $2,000 each, my husband and myself. Said we couldnt afford and wanted our teeth cleaned. Gave us many excuses but no cleaning. Got out xrays and will go somewhere else. And I would have only gave 1/2 star
The only negative comment I have would be when promised a return phone call to resolve and issue or have a question answered the response is extremely slow and most times I have had to call back multiple times for a status update.Positive comment would be my dentures are amazing! The extractions were as easy as one, two, three. The process of healing was virtually painless .I would definitely recommend Dr. John and his staff and if I decide to get more implants, Aspen Dental will be more choice.
They got me in pretty quick ecspecially thru this covid19 . They was all very nice and explained everything so I would understand it. I just was hoping to get my 2nd appt. In sooner but I also know they have alot of customers . They didnt try to push me into going one way or another with my dental needs. So i would definitely recommend someone to go there. They also give several payment options
Great staff! From check-in to check out everyone was very friendly and professional. Had a great cleaning with Kristi. Then my procedure with Dr. Ali, who was the best, as was Makayla, and all the rest. I have definitely found my new dentist!
Waited 5years to find a Dentist around here I could feel confident with. All were friendly, professional, answered all questions and absolutely gave no pressure on work that was needed. I Looked long and hard to find Doctors that knew their stuff. I am trusting them to replace all my top teeth with a denture. My Husband is next.
Aspen Dental was very nice and understanding from start to finish. Dr.Ali was very knowledgeable about everything and explained it in terms where I could understand. She knew I had dental anxiety and worked with me at my pace. Aspen Dental did not treat me badly because of my lack of insurance, they helped me get great care. Everyone’s teeth are different. Some people’s last forever and some don’t. It all depends on genetics, oral hygiene, medications, food/drink choice. It’s not just one thing! I really liked them and plan to go back. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I have had the worst experience with people who don’t understand I have long roots, I need extra lidocaine, I need to either take something beforehand or have something that will help calm me. I listen to music to help drown out the sounds, I bring a blanket because I get cold, and something to squeeze. Aspen Dental is the best place to go!
