It was my first time here and I loved it! It take a minute to get an appointment, but thats understandable cause almost everything is like that now due to the pandemic, however, even when scheduling the receptionist was so polite and friendly over the phone trying to schedule me. Then when I arrived the ladies in the front were very friendly and welcoming, just as the rest of the staff who ensured I was comfortable the whole time. And the Dr. was very warm and friendly as well which you dont get often with dentist, and was patient while I asked questions about a procedure I need done. I can say I found my new dentist office and have already scheduled my return visits

At Pepermint Dental I really feel as if I am being given the best options suited for me personally as opposed to being treated like just a number. I made the switch from Comfort to Peppermint Dental about a year ago and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The staff is always so helpful and professional and I really feel as though I am being treated with the upmost regards to my health and satisfaction. It’s a great peace of mind knowing that they really care, and that’s something I didn’t have before.

Ive only had an initial visit so far, but Im already loving this office. Staff is polite and very helpful. Doctor laid out an affordable, straightforward treatment plan. Excellent experience all the way around.UPDATE: So Ive had all my extractions done, molds and fittings are done, and now its all off to the lab to make the final dentures. Dr. Patel has been amazing throughout the entire process. Crystal is a godsend. And all of the rest of the staff, although I dont remember their names, have been awesome. I will forever recommend this office and specifically Dr. Patel.

I really like this dental clinic, they really take care of you and listen to what the patient has to say. I feel safe coming here. Dr. Patel is really nice and the hygienists are very attentive. I also want to thank the dental assistants for being helpful and making sure I felt comfortable. And of course the staff at the front desk for being amiable and welcoming.

Superfast super accurate and very polite I was able to understand everything they were telling me and was fantastic. I’d recommend this to everybody I know including my own family and by the way this is not an employer writing the review I have been a customer of the peppermint dental for 5+ years. Ive taken my son to this dentist office since he was 5, 13 now. The dentist & orthodontist were awesome, very professional. BUT this time it was noisey. Meaning the staff, talking loud, just being unprofessional. They have TVs, cant hear them. Not trying to sound all goody goody. WKeep your personal life at home!!

This was my first time at the Montgomery location but I’ve always had a good experience with Peppermint. Front desk staff is welcoming; X-rays were efficiently; the hygienist Brittany was gentle and did a great job removing some staining from having put off this visit; Dr Patel was friendly and communicated very well. They accept many types of insurances. Overall, definitely recommend them and will be returning!

Every visit is comfortable great staff nice place not to cold not to hot it feels nice, all the staff that has worked with me from no braces to having braces are amazing especially the lady that did my braces today made sure I was comfortable was quick no issues I recommend this place to anyone especially for those who are scrolling for a reviewA+!!

There was an upfront scheduling snafu but since I was a new patient maybe understandable. Otherwise, the office was efficient and very professional with state of the art equipment. The front office was friendly and supportive. The dental exam was very thorough; one of the best that I had ever experienced in all my years, and Dr. Patel very pleasant. I can say the same for the hygienist, Brittany, and her care. I highly recommend this dental practice.

The Hygienist didn’t know how to take care of client’s feelings. She was hurting my gums a lot when doing a regular cleaning. I never thought a regular cleaning was this painful in other dental clinics. My mom said it was painful for her as well, but she was just taking some pictures...

The place was so nice and the people are so friendly. And I could tell that they are keeping up with the covid precautions. Which was nice to know that they sterilize everything. So it was a very nice experience to go there to get my tooth work done.

I thought the receptionist/front desk person was really nice, friendly and welcoming. The dentist was also very smart and helped me understand what issues need to be addressed and what to expect on my future treatment plan.I only gave 4 stars because I felt like some of the staff were a bit rushed as my appointment was late in the afternoon. It made me feel a little bit off. I also gave 4 stars because I have never had a full 100% positive experience at any dentist because I dont like being poked and prodded in my mouth. It hurts and reminds me of nails on the chalkboard.

In for a check up x-rays and cleaning. The office is clean with good covid-19 precautions. The staff is efficient and good at their jobs. My teeth are happy clean and shiny and it cost me only $120 as I do not have dental insurance. I am happy to highly recommend them

My worst experience in a dental clinic.Schedules were made without any regard for ones time. Waited almost 30 minutes and someone who came after me was attended to before I was called in and was left on examination table for over 30 minutes while the hygienist went to attend to another patient without any courtesy .Hygienist in cohort with clinic administrator refused to provide cleaning as approved by my insurance(preventative care)because I declined deep cleaning.It was a case of armtwisting to do what they wanted me to do.If you want to have a say in your care then this clinic is not for you. Hygienist and clinic administrator were quite abrasive.I have visited other branches of peppermint dental in Albuquerque but the experience is like day and night.Kimberly Abbot (the hygienist at Montgomery branch)was not only unprofessional but downright arrogant. What a disservice to the noble field of dental hygiene .Definitely a 0 star.

Their dentures kept my mouth open 3/4. I wouldve had to retrain my tounge, cuz it didnt work. Bad lab, didnt listen to dentist instructions at all.

Service was horrible.I was armtwisted by very rude and quite abrasive hygienist kimberly Abbot who refused to provide preventative care as approved by my insurance because I declined deep cleaning (which I understand generates more money for the clinic)at this time. They clearly showed me that my time was not important as a patient that came after me was attended to before I was called in.No one cared enough to show any courtesy.The clinic supervisor was horrible and would not understand that patients have prerogative of choice when it comes to their care.Definitely a 0 star.What a shame!!!

They maybe very good but having over 10 dentists working at each facility and having to wait a week for an appointment after telling them I was in pain does not work for me....

Hospitality, care & service are amazing here! Everyone is so nice & your needs are met. Always check up on you if youre doing okay or need anything. They always send constant reminders of your upcoming appointments which is a huge plus when you have a busy schedule! And if you need to reschedule for any reason, they make it really easy! Great place.

I did not know a new $15 COVID-19 co-pay had been put in place. I think you should communicate that change to patients ahead of time, not when they arrive for their appointment. Also, I was told that I would be co reacted ahead of time with screening questions, so I was expecting a phone call, but I never got one, so I was a little confused about that. Otherwise, the staff were very kind and helpful.

Dr. Patel is great with the patient, gave me a putty filling to prevent the pain until I could see an oral surgeon. He filled some cavities also. The whole thing was as pain free as one could hope for. I was very pleased with the work he did and will be going to see the oral surgeon soon. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone. I have been going here for a couple years now to have my son do his check ups. The nurses are very nice and the dentist is kind as well. My kid does not like them, mind you, he is 4 years old. But the employees here get their jobs done in the best way they can. They are patient and understanding, even when my kid wont even open his mouth. Thank you guys for being here for me and my son. It means a lot to have people who get that kids are scared and not give them more to be afraid of. Hopefully one day my son will let you brush his teeth.

Dr Patel and his staff are very caring. I am extremely anxious about going to dentist. They made me feel welcomed and listened to my fears about visiting a dentist. I was having a dental emergency and they were able to work me in to their busy schedule on the same day I called, even though I was a new patient.We discussed my treatment options and they offered several options to meet my needs. I will be coming back to Dr. Patel and his staff for my routine dental care.

Love this place! We take the whole family and encourage others to go as well. Super friendly staff that not only take their jobs seriously but also look like they have fun doing it too. Dentist offices make me nervous but the staff is attentive to your feelings. The hygienist is incredibly detailed with the work done while also being fast ...dentist is always friendly with the kiddos and the office staff are the best! Also they love 80’s music and yeah that’s important!

Today was my first day back into the “world” post COVID shutdown and what did I pick, to get my teeth cleaned. I shouldn’t be surprised at the level of patience, professionalisms and friendly nature the Peppermint dental staff showed today, but even as I watched how busy everyone was, not one of the staff members showed how overwhelming they might have been feeling inside. Bravo! To adapting to this COVID-chaos with class, kindness and the same positive environment you exuded pre-COVID.

I have been attending the clinic on Montgomery and San Mateo for years and was so satisfied with their services.Unfortunately, they have had a change in management and now, I’m being billed for services from 2018. I spoke to the manager Miriam and the Director Keegan and both were rude and not helpful.I don’t think it’s legal to bill someone for services from so long ago. I will be reporting this issue to the BBB and DOH.

Ive been coming to this peppermint dental for at least 7 years.. All 3 of my kids love coming. Always welcomed with a smile and by name!! Which is definitely a plus!! You wont be disappointed.

My experience at Peppermint Dental was awful. I went here for three years and I never left a cleaning without being in pain. The dental hygienists are not gentle when they floss your teeth! I have very tightly spaced teeth and they would rip the floss through with little consideration for my comfort. They also had a student working on me and I wasnt informed until after my filling was complete! I normally wouldnt have had an issue giving consent to that, but this student clearly didnt know what she was doing and the dentist frequently had to scold her for not paying attention or using the wrong tool. The dentist put off doing one of my fillings for months and when he finally got around to it the problem had gotten much worse. I had to have a massive filling put in and I feel like that could have been avoided if the dentist had done his job when he first noticed the issue. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

It was the best visit at the San Mateo & Zuni facility. This staff and dentist were so attentive and caring. They were all good to me and my four kids, that I brought in for cleanings, but got extra attention needed at time of visit.
