Cleaned out my tank. The employees name was James good direct eye contact he was positive very professional up beat. Seemed to like his job. Very very helpful. I will use this place once again if needed.

The over the phone customer service was extremely poor! Due to this I had zero interest in using their services. My first impression led me to believe that the actual service would be poor as well.

I cannot imagine a more incompetent septic service on the planet. DO NOT use American!!! I dont have the time or patience to right about how horrific our experience has been with this company.

The tech came to install a pump for our septic system and botched the job (while leaving a mess in his wake) so they sent someone else to fix it. Okay, that happens sometimes. However, they charged me full price for both visits and when I called (3 or 4 times) to discuss the situation, the manager wouldn’t even return my call. Needless to say, I’ve moved on to a different company.

We had an issue with our septic tank. Being frist time homeowners with a tank and only in the our home for about a year. We had no idea what to do. When I called the company, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was connected to Mason right away to help me figure out what to do. Mason gave me some things we could do ourselves instead of charging me to come out. With a few sipmle steps, my husband and I were able to complete the job and get things working again. Thank you again Mason for helping us out with something that could have turned into a major issue later.

We had our septic tank inspected before moving in. It passed every section. Two days after closing on the house our alarm began going off. Our septic service man came out and revealed that our electrical components are corroded to the point of needing to be quickly replaced. It’s unacceptable that it passed, but now I’m paying hundreds to fix it. When I called about the issue I was told “it worked the day we were there”.

I am a Property Manager. I have used American Pumping on several past occasions for pumping and installing septic systems at a fair price for the quality workmanship I received. I have worked with other pumping companies in town and American is clearly the best and most thorough. Recently American Pumping installed a drain field for me after a 28 year old drain field failed. This drain field was in a difficult location and great care was required with existing landscape. Between Mason, Otto and Pat time was taken to study the site and a comprehensive plan was developed.Dave, the machine operator took special care to ensure minimal impact to the landscape on the site by being extra creative and a great operator found a tight way into the site and took his time to preserve existing landscape in front of the home.Special thanks to Mason who answered all my questions patiently.

Extremely happy! They put in a new sceptic system and leach field. They were fast, professional, and even though they came in with the lowest bid, we received a larger system than offered by competitors. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

I wish I could post the pictures I took this afternoon when I came home. I trusted this company to install a new septic tank for a home Im selling in Corrales. The buyers picked this company, and I have to pay for it. They destroyed 2 rose bushes (completely gone) and my Russian Olive tree has substantial damage which most likely will result in its death. In addition they turned over my bent willow chair and cushion, and disassembled my metal fireplace and left it in pieces. My yard looks like its been violated. I would never recommend this company.

Our experiences with American have been excellent. Weve had simple pumping all the way to installing a full drain field and tank inspection. Lets face it, this is one of those business that could recommend more work and over-charge if they were that kind of people. Nobody wants to deal with this END of things and we usually just want to get it over with. A competitive and inclusive quote was step one, punctuality was important since this was a rental and out of my way on a workday, and professionalism was the final decision maker. They followed code and the legal process when others offered to dodge the system. Who needs that headache when the county is sniffing around?!? Super job, excellent work and competitive price... done the right way.

Great Company! I had a concern about my system which turned out to be unrelated to a septic tank issue. Otto and his son Mason came out personally to ensure the newly installed system was working properly. Otto ensured me that it was flowing well and reminded me that they do stand behind their equipment and installation. This is a company that clearly stands behind their work and will follow up to ensure the customer is happy.

My septic tank was overflowing and I needed service today because my toilets were overflowing. Kelly at Alpha septic had her driver come today to pump my tank and assess my septic system. She was so helpful and Tyler the driver was great. They serviced my septic last year. Alpha will be my septic service from now on.

These guys are honest!! I just had another company out a month before to drain my septic and they set me up for failure trying to say I needed new leech field dug for 3k!!! I called american pumping and they came out and told me previous company took off filter to septic and put it back in the wrong spot so my septic would back up again within days which it did! They fixed the problem cheap. I trust american pumping no other!!!

Its funny reading these horrible reviews. I have a close friend who works for them. I didnt believe everything I was told could be true til I googled the company just for fun. Every negative review Ive read is exactly what was told to me. Just about word for word. Employees are instructed never to disclose potential system issues or obvious failures if American Pumping installed the system. They are to complete the job requested by the customer and leave. New systems are being sold to customers under the pretense that their current system is failing when in fact the current system is perfectly fine or, only something minor that can be easily repaired. The office is totally unorganized. From customer service (or lack thereof), job pricing, to record keeping. The office staff can over/undercharge customers at will. No set guidelines at all. If so, they are not being practiced. I wonder what they average in DOT fines per year given the poor condition of their trucks as well. I wont go into detail regarding unethical practices within the company itself. Im very thankful to have never worked for a place like this. Long story short.... They do not value their employees. They definitely do not value their customers. It makes me sick to think how many people have been taken advantage of. Thousands of dollars needlessly wasted. There are so many of us working hard to make an HONEST living.To those of you about to spend a small fortune, PLEASE get one more opinion before you commit!

Came out late like 4 hour late in the dark and still didnt to a complete job. The ladies in the office are very unprofessional and 1 is very rude. Will be advising all the folks in the area to not use them. I have also read where they recommend a whole new system when it really doesnt need to be done. Sad they have to rip folks off. Use care when using this company.

Nothing but great experiences with American Pumping. When we bought our house we didnt realize the septic was failing. Otto responded to our call, he came out and told me what he could do for us. We have a new system that will accommodate our large house for years to come. Otto is the only person that responded out of the 3 companies I called. Very pleased.

The customer service of this Company is thoroughly lacking. They charge for issues caused by their service, they do not respond to calls in a timely manner and when questioned about it, they yell at their customers.

I had a broken water line at my boyfriends house, A-1 came in and it was fixed in no time. Great job!!!!

We bought a house with a septic system that was not installed properly, with only one 6 riser (when they are supposed to 18) on the liquid side of tank and NO riser on the solids side, which is where the pumping has to be done. Additionally the tank is plastic, yet on the their receipt for pumping the tank, they stated that its a concrete tank. They also, charged for a tank inspection, and though they stated the riser size, there was no mention that its wrong and should be corrected, which prevented proper pumping. And all of this I found when I had another company come out to pump and was told immediately that they couldnt do a proper pumping due to this situation. Now years later I find all this out, instead of when house wear being purchased and could have been factored into the deal.

Otto came out to give me an estimate on a possible new leech field, and told me within minutes of a solution that would cost me nothing! I love a company with integrity. I will use American Pumping for my septic and my plumbing concerns in the future without hesitation.

Otto did not explain the system very well. After he installed the system we had electrical pipes along our roof and deck that was not explained in the quote, that cost us $1,400 just for electrical. We have a beautiful view of the city that was ruined by a loud high pitch noise from the fan placed under our deck and a foul smell that is ommitted from the area that was not there before. He should have been the expert in his field and relocated the fan and electrical away from the deck. My system did not have any problems before and I feel like he failed the inspection so he could make more money.I would not recommend Otto and American Pumping!!!!

We initially had an issue with the billing, but the owner was able to investigate and took off the extra charges that were incurred after they were discovered to be in error, I would recommend doing business with American.

Saturday emergency. Called. Service within 2 hours. And they did the job right!
