Before we had Cutting Edge do the trim and doors, we had them paint the whole interior of our home. In each room we had an accent wall done. They did an excellent job cutting in the corners, etc. Before they started on the trim and doors, we had our kitchen remodeled. Cutting Edge matched the wood stains exactly. We had knotty alder in the kitchen. Cutting Edge used knotty pine. We cannot tell the difference. We had them put in all new, beautiful wood, base board with matching doors through out our home. Then they replaced the entry way doors, again, matching the trim and interior doors and did an excellent job on all of it. We are very pleased with their work and will refer them in a flash.

We were so impressed by this company and their professionalism. My husband and I recently had our house abated. We hired an abatement company to remove the asbestos ceiling and Cutting Edge to re-texture it and remove wallpaper and such. However, it was quickly becoming an ordeal with the abatement company due to them having to redo their work and much more. This displaced us from our home for longer than what was necessary. Yet, this company (Cutting Edge) was amazing and was definitely a sharp contrast to the other. We have a pergola over the porch in the front of our house that needed to be re-stained, along with other wood areas in the front. Cesar, Angel, and Antonio did a fantastic job. They power-washed and sanded the surfaces, then applied several coats of stain. It looks beautiful. They were very nice to work with and they covered the patio and driveway areas with dropcloths -- no stains on these surfaces. They cleaned up everything. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

We were very satisfied with the painting of our bedroom ceiling and walls, including 2 built-in bookcases. John and Lyvan were very careful and efficient and finished the job in less time that originally quoted. The room is beautiful and everything was put back in place before the day was over. I have used John and his crew on two houses and a pool changing room. On every project they have done a beautiful job. The most current job required matching some paints and creating perfect lines. Cutting Edge just finished our house in February of 2020. I rated them a 5* because there wasnt an option for a 6*. This company goes above and beyond on the job and I cannot give enough praise to John Freeman and his staff for the job they did. I called this company several times in September, previous to this post, and finally was scheduled for an estimate today--October 20, 2020. I called today to verify my appointment for a work estimate with John--who had assured me he would be coming--and discovered, low and behold, John was busy and could not keep his appointment. Regardless of my taking the day off to meet with him.And then, to make matters worse, when I called the Cutting Edge office, I got another request from Katie, the receptionist who answers his phone, to send pictures of the work I needed done. This after I had already told John and her that I needed John to come out here to the job site to see, in person, what I wanted and needed done.In my opinion, if you are going to spend your hard earned dollars on a paint job at your home, you should at least have confidence in the workmanship and character of the people you are hiring. They should not only keep their appointments, but also value your business enough to see the job in person and not by photos taken on a cell phone.

I am very happy with the painting Craig and Jacob did in my kitchen. But it really started with my first meeting with John. He came over in the midst of a huge mess with contractors and life going on yet he was able to work right through that and understood exactly what I was looking for and got the details down perfect. The quoted price was also right on and the work they did was the best I have seen. I even had to reschedule at the last minute due to other contractor issues and John accommodated that beautifully. Craig and Jacob showed up when they said would, finished when they said they would, left the house clean and usable every night. These guys are great to work with and do high quality work. I called Cutting Edge about a year and a half ago to paint the inside of my house. I live in a two bedroom two bath town home, maybe 900 square feet. John Freeman came out and we took a tour of my house and I explained to him what I had wanted.He looked through my house and noticed things I didnt. He saw that my cabinets were not closing properly and explained that they could fix them. He also talked about getting new door hinges and knobs that would match. I felt like i was being taken care of. He was in no means being pushy or making me feel that I had to do anything.Mr. Freeman also explained the different types of paints to me and what would be best for my home, being that I live with two big dogs and cats.He also noticed that my counter top was starting to fall off the wall. That was due to someone putting in a dishwasher and didnt finish the job. He said that they could fix that for me. I was really surprised by the way he cared about his work and making sure I was a happy customer.I am a single female who lives alone and doesnt know a lot about fixing things. I try my best but sometimes I dont have the time or proper tools. When John came to the house he took very good care of me and my house. The paint job was amazing. Looked like a completely new house.With that said, I asked Cutting Edge to come back again and fix my ceiling from a roof leak. A gentleman came and worked quietly and efficiently but was also very friendly. Just had them in to repair cracks and water damage in the walls and repaint our living area. They were basically flawless, friendly, and conscientious start to finish, and I thought the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND CUTTING EDGE PAINTING. My house needed a facelift on the gables, fascia, soffits, trim and decorative iron. One gable was in bad condition due to years of weather and exposure and had a hole leftover from an old AC unit. I had 4 contractors look over my job and discuss options. John from Cutting Edge stood out because he listened to my concerns and offered suggestions for not only fixing up the ailing gable but for improving airflow through my attic. I chose Cutting Edge because I felt that they would give the necessary attention to my project and would involve me in the process. Cutting Edge replaced one gable completely and installed a new gable vent on the other gable. They sanded and recoated my porch ceiling and repaired loose trim around my porch ceiling. They prepped and repainted all window and door trim, fascia, soffits and decorative iron. As the project progressed, I had a couple of change requests which Cutting Edge accommodated. On the final day of the project, their painters put extra effort in painting the finishing touches on each area. My husband and I are very pleased with the final result. We will use Cutting Edge for future projects.

The ownership and management at this company belittles, threatens, curses, and treats his employees like trash. Unprofessional and unhealthy work environment. Several employees are scared of the owner and what measures will be taken if they make the smallest of mistakes.
