My biggest complaint is the quality of work I received for the amount of time it took. The tech was very polite, however I was there for almost 4 hours for a gel pedicure and biosculpture fill. Mind you, they were single color services, no designs, accent nails, etc. My services started at 4:40PM and she was still working on my hands past 8PM. I ended up just having to ask her to throw a top coat on because I had to get home. The result was very uneven color to both my fingers and toes, lumpy nails that are a variety of shapes, and I still have bits of color from my previous manicure left on. My daughter, who also came with me (her appointments started at the same time as mine, and finished in about 2 hours), received a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure. I understand that children are hard on their hands and feet so I didnt have high expectations for this lasting long. However, within 24 hours her toes were chipped and her gel manicure had completely lifted and peeled (Im talking all 10 fingers completely peeled off). I have been getting regular biosculpture manicures for 5 years and Ive never had one last that long, especially without any design or special request. I wouldnt be as disappointed in the time it took if it was reflected in the quality of the work. I am, overall, unsatisfied with time it took, the quality, and the inconsistency with the services. Unfortunately at the time I left, it was so late that everyone was gone and I couldnt speak to anyone in terms of management.

I was a model for a bio sculpture extension. I loved the ambience and cleanliness. There also wasnt that absolutely nauseatingly smell of monomer like most nail salons. Everyone there was extremely friendly and super welcoming. My nails came out absolutely lovely.

The place was really cute when I walked in, but they took me next door to another building. It was disappointing that I didnt get the vibe that everyone seems to like. My artist was really nice but you can tell she was extremely scared by the management. Every time the manager walked by she got very quiet and you could just tell she was tense. Thats sad to see. I was shocked to find out they dont soak your feet so overall I wasnt impressed by the technique they use with no water. Plus you dont get a massage. It was just very over priced for a very normal experience. I wanted and expected amazing but it was far from it.

Second visit. Light airy space. Safety protocol is excellent, I felt safe.My Diamond Technician, Yvette, did a wonderful job with my severely damaged nails last month. Today was a fill. My nails look amazing! Yvette worked with me to create a custom gradient purple sparkle look that delights me to no end.

This place is awesome! Had to wait a tad after my scheduled appt but it wasnt bad, they are busy and it made sense. Brought my mom in for some mom-daughter time before I leave. She had a clear polish regular mani while i got a gel mani. My mom enjoyed the hot towel, little hand massage and the usage of their lotions (the pomegranate lotion they have is divine)!! It was really nice meeting the owner, she gave us a cute little welcome bag. I do see some other services I would like to use before I go, Im just waiting to feel better.

I had several appointments with Natalia, and the service was outstanding. She is a highly talented Esthetician who gave my eyebrows the perfect shape. I also had a facial, extractions and nose treatment which were relaxing and very much needed.You can’t find another Esthetician like her who maintains professionalism and really cares about each client. Book with her soon because her appointments fill up quick!!!

The owner treats her employees horribly. In case anyone thought it was strange 4 or 5 of the top nail techs left suddenly. I could never support a business that treats people this way for their own benefit. My services provided there were good but those who provided them are no longer there.

Super nice and very clean. My nail tech, Jenny, was very sweet and gentle. Also the pomegranate lotions smells so good. The hot towel pedicure is super relaxing too.

Great service and wonderful staff. Services by appointment only and be prepared to wait upwards of 30 minutes for your slot when you arrive on time. Overall, I would say totally worth it, just be sure to plan ahead.

I have been a long-time time customer and have referred several of my friends to Paixao. I had a family emergency and called the salon four hours before my appt asking to reschedule. The receptionist said that I would be charged the $40 cancelation fee regardless of my situation.I made my appt although I should not have because of my circumstances when I arrived the receptionist was unsympathetic. I called the salon every day last week to speak to Priscilla, the owner, to tell her about my experience at Paixao. I left messages, a voicemail and sent her an email but never received a response. The incident took place two weeks ago and I have not heard back. I am saddened and disappointed with Paxiao Beauty Salon as I thought they had a little more class and cared about their customers. I will not be going back.

I adore this nail salon!! The atmosphere is so calming and the color is bright and welcoming! The services are amazing, and I especially love their Bio gel! Its a natural gel that is Vegan and it promotes nail strength! My nails have become so much stronger since using it! Look at my picture! Those are not acrylics those are my natural nails!! This is the only salon Ive ever been to where my nails actually become stronger and not weaker and its because of their bio gel! Ill be coming here for years to come!

My facial was nice. Natalia was amazing! But I give them 1 star ⭐️ since they don’t have the correct description for the facials! Once I booked the facial they should have called telling me the mommy facial doesn’t include dermaplaning, extractions, and led light. If that was the case I would’ve booked another facial with add ons. I was definitely looking forward to those three things listed that weren’t in the facial. She gave me a $20 discount since those weren’t included. However, I would have liked to received a half off discount since those were the major key components that I was looking forward to and did not receive them. They need to update their website on what they provide on the facials! When I spoke to Natalia she said they’ve been meaning to change it. So the business needs to update their descriptions on each facial and remove dermaplaning since they do not provide that service

Gel mani and pedi took 3.5 hours with Jr technician. They do not cut cuticles here, but have a way to keep the cuticle area clean. Great art work for nails, clean and nice place to relax! They have tons of decorative options and make you feel welcomed!

I follow their IG account and the owner posts severalVideos of attending out of town conferences. That’s not my issue - my issue is you can see her talking in a crowd of people all not wearing masks or 6 ft a part. The level of disregard for healthcare workers who have been battling this virus is terrible. I’ll be telling my nursing friends to avoid here as it’s doesn’t seem to be a priority to protect others.

*** Edit *** If you dont care about their shady scheduling practices by all means go. However 3 different appointments I had they changed me from the tech I scheduled with to a different tech. With out even consulting me about the change. What good is setting an appointment if you dont get who you want. When I got the confirmation this time I called to make a complaint and no one got back to me. And when I called today at noon to be within the over 24 hours to cancel I had to leave a voice mail and no one ever called back nor did they cancel the appt. Just very, very poor customer service. Ive had better service from a Walmart Salon. ***End edit*** They had 5 start until they ignored my complaints about my last manicure. The color was uneven and the top coat was so poorly applied that you can see where it didnt even cover the whole nail. I sent a complaint thru their website Tuesday and not even a bit of a reply. If it werent for the fact that I know their other techs give great manicures I wouldnt go back.

Me and my two daughters have been going to Paixao from the very beginning. Not only do they do such a great job with our nails but we always feel so welcome and at home there. They make sure we are happy with our services and our nails always look so good and the nail polish lasts forever! I live around 25 min away and choose to drive specifically because we just love them so much! Thank you Paxiao for always taking care of us :)

My first experience at Paixao was wonderful this weekend! I was greeted with a smile and all COVID precautions were taken at my entrance to the salon. Sarah Adame was a wonderful technician - kind, puts client at ease, and a great conversationalist. My first time with a no-water pedicure and it was lovely. Sarah used a CBD scrub and really did wonders on my feet/legs. 10/10 would recommend. Beautiful and clean space.

Paixão is the cleanest salon in town. they do a great job of making sure everything is clean and both guests and employees are safe. you get what you pay for with services like this and they are more than worth the money. I won’t go anywhere else to get my nails done.

Needed some self care time and booked an appointment with Savannah for a Spa Manicure. She was so kind, so responsive to my small requests, and took her time making sure she didn’t miss anything. The salon itself was very clean, well appointed with COVID safe equipment like the plexiglass barriers, and overall pleasant to be in! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Savannnah! You rock.

They do not cut cuticles or sides of nails. Beautiful place and nice ambiance. They takes their time, thats for sure. They are nice and make you feel welcome. Some techs are not very experienced or asymmetrical in designs or French, unfortunately. The owner has put everything into her business, and it shows.

Very cute place but took 3 hours to do my acrylic set. Note that my nails were very simple no design or gems added. I have never been to a salon that has taken that long to do my nails. I had a very busy day and I wish they would’ve warned me about it. I’ve seen 4 different nail techs at this salon including two master techs and have left completely unsatisfied. My nails always come out uneven and very very chunky. I was going to ask them to thin my nails out a little bit but the girl already took 3 hours on my nails and I couldn’t stay longer. Maybe I should’ve played it safe and done only gel nails. I love having acrylic and that’s why I always ask for it.I really like that their products are vegan but I don’t see myself coming back.

I scheduled an appointment with a master tech assuming she was the best because generally that’s what a master is. She was very friendly and the whole thing took about 2 hours which I didn’t mind but I ended up paying over 70 dollars to 1. Not even get the design I initially wanted because the master tech couldn’t do it. 2. Have my nails break and fall apart in less than a week. I was so excited about finally trying this salon and my first experience was not so great.

I have been to this nail salon 3 times. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Nail techs listen to what you want and when you dont like the tiniest thing they fix it so you do like it. I have been happy on all 3 visits. It is never over crowded even when it is busy this adds to the appeal. layout and decor is wonderful. One comment mentioned the price being high, I feel for the quality and care you receive the price is reasonable.

Paixão is the cleanest salon I have ever been in! It looks just like the pictures posted on their website. My nail technician, Cassidy, made sure every nail was done perfectly and I even got a goody bag before I left for being a first time customer. The prices here were cheaper than other salons Ive been to, and I received better service and a great atmosphere for a good price.

They had me at AUTOCLAVE!The cleanliness and professionalism here can not be overstated. My mani-pedi with Kiara was fantastic! She is meticulous, sweet and quiet. Her passion is nail art and I saw some samples that were jaw-dropping - no blobby flowered here! Fine miniature paintings that pop, beautifully executed. Kiara takes pride in the work she does and it shows. She is a keeper and PiaXao is a find.

Its been a year since I have been patronizing Paixao. Jenny Lee is great with gel manicures and pedicures. I get off work at 5:30 so getting to any establishment and getting service before they close is difficult. This establishment is less than 5 minutes from work, very clean and fun. They strictly adhere to Covid 19 safety protocol and sanitization.

Sara took her time to get nails perfect. Love the design work.

VERY disappointed with this salon first time I paid $50 for a bioscuplture manicure for my daughter, in which site said $25 with no designs and lasted less than a week before all peeled off. Called salon and they said it was bc kids have oily nail beds and I asked to speak to manager And they gave me her email in which she never responded so a $50 manicure to last less than a week very disappointing. Then a few months later I decided to give a second chance and scheduled an appointment for me and my mother manicures and pedicures they were late getting us to our appointment because a bridal party booked at the last minute then the nail tech that I had did not know what she was doing I specifically told her what I wanted and she did not do it and then try drawing a line through my toe to make it Match my manicure which looked awful so I had her take it off and redo the color in which she chose to roll her eyes and act very frustrated with me like she didn’t have time to give me what I wanted, I also asked her if she was trained in bio sculpture nails because I know that’s how it works and she was not and said she had no artistic talent to even draw lines now less than a week later my manicure looks horrible and as a previous bio sculpture customer that can last 4 to 6 weeks I am very disappointed for paying $100 and lasting less than a week I’m not even gonna reach out to the salon because it’s Pointless they don’t return calls or emails and I also got an infection on my left toe because she didn’t know what she was doing with ingrown toe nails... total waste of money and girls they are very unprofessional. I highly recommend Nail Naturale instead of this ghetto knock off.

Disrespectful of my time, poorly run and very disorganized. I arrived 10 minutes early to a new manicure shop offering a safe, non-chemical manicure only in 3 salons elsewhere in ABQ. I was surprised to get an appointment but clearly appointments are meaningless to them because 30 minutes later, no one had done more than point me to a couch. When I approached a nail operator she did not apologize for my wait, only asked me if I wanted to reschedule.No apology, no sign of appreciation my time is of value. Hopefully they will not charge the credit card needed to make the appointment for a no show.

This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to! Very rude nail techs chatting amongst themselves with zero professionalism or customer service! Received a very rushed manicure and they came out looking horrible! Oh and they only have one light on the left side of the desk to cure bio sculpture so that means you have to reach your right arm across your body to cure the nails very uncomfortable. They also dont allow kids so they kicked my baby out even though my mom was there with the stroller to make sure he didnt cry or make a peep to disturb anyone!! This place is an absolute joke dont waste your time or money!

Cute place but took 4 hours for a basic acrylic set, nothing fancy, one nail came off after a week. Got my toes done too, it was a waste the Polish came completely off on the 2nd day. She oiled my toes up n sent me on my way immediately after polishing. I noticed the hair girl staring me down and when I caught her she wasnt hiding it. One girl was nice but her hair looked ungroomed, other girl was young, catty and airing out her boyfriend drama, hair girl had bad vibes obviously and the girl that did my nails was nice but had poor quality and worse time management. The owner was there briefly during my visit, she was pleasant. Place has potential with a better staff and/or management.

Absolutely worth the time, the ladies are sanitary and gentle. They also do pedicures without any water which compared to other salons, is cleaner. My nails were done by a sweet employee who made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Not to throw shade, but it was nice that they didnt diss you behind your back in another launguage. They also had a comfy lounge with free water and coffee provided. Felt like I was a queen! Definelty recommend going here :)

Very poor phone service, call to cancel due to having to remove my nails from the last appt. because they were all peeling off. Called multiple times and left messages to cancel and then got told I would be charged for not canceling on time!

My girl Gen is a master. You do have to make an appoinment as they are not a walk-in type of salon.
