This company is a scam. They were sued in multiple states. Theres a reason this company is always hiring. You dont get paid anything and its a pyramid scheme. STAY AWAY!Same thing happened to me as another girl on here. Had an interview at 5 PM one day and the person who was supposed to interview me never even showed up to the Zoom meeting. Emailed her and left her a voicemail, never even replied. Very unprofessional.Do not walk away from this company, run away!

I was scheduled for a video interview and stayed on for 45 minutes waiting for the host to join but nobody ever did. I reached out to the scheduler and was rescheduled a second time with the same results, when I reached out again I expressed my concerns and I was told that a manager would be notified and was scheduled for an interview a third time. I joined that call and was met with the same results. At this point I was frustrated due to the fact that I had to keep taking time off at my other job to join these calls. When I reached out a final time I was given a number to call to speak with a manager but never received a call back after leaving a voice-mail. I guess it was a good thing I did not join this company.

Worked here in high school between my Jr-Sr year. It is a pyramid Scheme, they only want you to sell to your friends and family. That being said I made decent money and got a great knife set for myself. The knives are good and hold good an edge on the double D’s better than normal straight blades. But are harder to sharpen and need to be sent back for a factory overhaul at least once a year to maintain sharpness.I now use Japanese or german knives which I can sharpen at home with wet stones. They hold a better edge, and are easy to sharpen while provided better cuts on fruit and tomatoes than the cutco knives. The Japanese knives are better on onions and beef and their paring knives is all around sharper than the Cutco paring knives even with factory sharpening: that being said the Cutco is better at disjointing bones as the steel is harder and won’t dent or break when working ligaments or tendons. Wüstof knives are great steel but won’t hold an edge as long as a DD edge but are easier to sharpen, and with regular sharpening are as good as Cutco and hold their edge better over years of sharpening at home. For the money Cutco is over priced and harder to sharpen than necessary. Plus they treat associates with smoke and mirrors about how to sharpen a DD edge. It isn’t rocket science and should be readily available to customers to keep their products working as advertised.Any company that encourages you to sell to your grandparents is not a good company. Be strong and look for new customers you don’t know. It will be a better all around experience.

I would highly suggest giving it a chance, Ive been here for almost 7 years. That summer job turned into a career. I was able to work this job around my full time Architecture schedule at CU Boulder for 5 years. The flexible schedules and the ability to earn what you are worth vs your time was great. Im forever grateful for the opportunity and I would recommend this to anyone looking to make some extra money or even a career! My best friends work here and Athena is such a genuine person.

I am a Cutco customer. I went in person to San Pedro office in Albuquerque to make an appointment to have my knives sharpened. Scheduled the appointment 3 weeks in advance. No one showed up or called me to reschedule or cancel the appointment. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!! I will have to personally take the knives to them and have them sharpened, WHILE I WAIT!!! Will not leave the knives with them, I may never see my knives again!

Had an 11am interview, no one showed up. Offices were locked. I called their number, it prompts you to speak a name for Google Voice. It then sends you to a random phone number. You call yourselves professionals and an honest company? I think not.

Went to the one in Rio rancho and all I can say is what a sham this company is aweful, if you actually want to make money and have a million millionaire friends willing to help you then dont bother putting yourself through the stress and fake interested employers. As someone mentioned its a pyramid scheme.

Let me start off by saying I am writing this review mainly for those interested in working here. Everything about this place made me uncomfortable. A few months ago, I was desperately looking for a job. Out of the blue, a letter comes in the mail from Vector telling me they had openings that needed to be filled immediately. I contacted the office and set up an interview for the next day. I arrive the next morning to a two-story office building. I follow the sign that points me to a small upstairs suite. Coloring books and plush toys fill bins that lay atop shelves and signs promoting CutCo Cutlery, a corporation based in a small New York City, line the walls. I am greeted by a boy of my age who introduces himself as an assistant manager. I join three others, nicely dressed, who are also waiting for an interview. Half an hour later, the managers elementary-aged child walks in with her mother and pulls us one-by-one into the managers office. During the interview, the manager tells me that I will get paid based on how many appointments I can make with people I am familiar with, i.e. friends and family. As it dawned on me that this job was a lot like any grade schools clubs fundraiser, I noticed the overhead fluorescent lights flickering overhead, like in a cliche movie featuring a life-sucking office job. It became apparent to the manager that I was no longer interested and I was kindly invited to contact them again if I changed my mind. Months later, a close family friend called my family, trying to set up an appointment to sell the product. Thats when I finally realized that working at this place just isnt worth the strain it puts on your relationships with family and friends.

I dont understand why people say this is a good company to work for. Cutco knifes are a decent product but the company its self is a pyramid scheme. It is really hard to make money if you dont have a large network of people willing to buy from you. And the people you know who already own the product likely wont be looking to purchase other gaduites. The trainers blatantly lie to associates in order to get them to preform. Or at least that was my experience.

Dishonest, no integrity whatsoever, preys upon young college-age people who just want a job, puts up all kinds of fake employee comments online that resort to name calling people who report on their practices. Theyll always claim that they made $30-50K in their first year, which is bogus. This job requires you to buy over $100 worth of equipment just to demo to potential customers. NEVER, EVER take a job that requires you to pay that much up front. Lets be honest, thats a lot of money worth of food for the average poor college student. They claim its not door-to-door sales, that its not cold calling. Truth is its a little of both and just as tedious and unrewarding. I did my research. I did not return for the second day of UNPAID TRAINING. (On the first day, one of our trainers obviously did not know what she was doing and wound up almost slicing off one of her digits when trying to demonstrate for us. I felt bad for her on two levels.) I politely left a message for them saying I wouldnt be returning. I received a rude message on my phone later asking where the hell I was... even though I left them a message saying I wouldnt be there. How professional. These sort of businesses are not worth your time or anyone elses time, whether working for or buying from them. You can get sharp-as-heck knives that are dishwasher safe anywhere. You can look up all sorts of reports on how this company has been sued for misrepresentation. Knowledge is power.
